To address the inhomogeneous microstructure and improve the mechanical properties of DT300 ultra-high strength steel specimens fabricated by laser powder bed fusion,different post-heat treatment schedules are *** the increase in austenitizing temperature and time,the migration rate of austenite grain boundaries continuously increases with the dissolution of nano-carbides,and the formation of nano-oxides and twin martensite is also inhibited *** rapid growth in the size of prior austenite grains and martensite laths,as well as the decrease in the content of nano-oxides and twin martensite,led to a rapid decrease in the strength(yield strength and ultimate tensile strength)from HT2 to HTF *** HT1 specimens(austenitizing at 830℃for 30 min,then oil quenching and tempering at 300℃for 120 min and finally air cooling)display excellent mechanical properties of yield strength of 1572 MPa,ultimate tensile strength of 1847 MPa,elongation of 9.84%,and fracture toughness of 106 MPa m^(1/2),which are counterparts to those of conventional DT300 steel forgings after heat treatment.

GPR reflecting sections and core profiles revealed that sand dunes of the northern Ulan Buh Desert are overlying shallow lacustrine or palustrine sediments. Optical dating results of sediments from three core profiles indicate that the area of the northern Ulan Buh Desert was still covered by the shallow lake or marsh during 8.4-6.4 ka, and eolian sand started to accumulate since around 2 ka. Such a result supports the idea that the present desert landform of the northern Ulan Buh Desert started to form since 2 ka, which was likely a response to the desertification caused by ruin of the Han Dynasty and the large-scale abandonment of farming of the Han nationality. Our research results are consistent with the previous archaeological studies, and support the idea that the Ulan Buh Desert is composed of two parts with different histories, i.e., the old southern Ulan Buh Desert and the young northern Ulan Buh Desert.

Based on common phenomena of biochemical interaction between plants and microorganisms,the inhibitive effects of three common terrestrial compositae plants,namely Artemisia lavandulaefolia DC.,Conyza canadensis(L.)Cronq.,and Kalimeris indica(L.)Sch.-*** the blue algae Microcystis aeruginosa was *** compositae plants are co-cultivated with algae in two different inoculation doses for 10 days in 5-pools incubators,in order to exclude the influence of bacteria and *** results show that Artemisia lavandulaefolia DC has the most inhibitive potential among the three plants as evidenced by the most drastic decrease in optical density(OD680)of the *** inhibition rate is 93.3%(with initial inoculation dose of 2.0×10^(6) Cells/mL)and 89.3%(with initial inoculation dose of 4.0×10^(6) Cells/mL)respectively on the 10th day of *** average inhibition rate during the later half of the experiment is 0.76(with initial inoculation dose of 2.0×10^(6) Cells/mL)and 0.71(with initial inoculation dose of 4.0×10^(6) Cells/mL),*** model analysis shows that compositae plants such as *** *** the reduction of the habitat’s carrying capacity of *** analysis is used to determine the similarity and differences between every experimental group and an average inhibitive rate model is used to evaluate the inhibition *** results show that *** DC.,which grow well in the aquatic environment,may have a great potential in controlling algae bloom in eutrophic water.

Synthesis and characterization of biocompatible polyurethanes for controlled release of hydrophobic and hydrophilic drugs

Design of biocompatible and biodegradable polymer systems for sustained and controlled release of bioactive agents is critical for numerous biomedical applications. Here, we designed, synthesized, and char- acterized four polyurethane carrier systems for controlled release of model drugs. These polyurethanes are biocom- patible and biodegradable because they consist of biocompatible poly（ethylene glycol） or poly（caprolactone diol） as soft segment, linear aliphatic hexamethylene diisocyanate or symmetrical aliphatic cyclic dicyclohex- ylmethane-4,4＇-diisocyanate as hard segment, and biode- gradable urethane linkage. They were characterized with Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, atomic force microscope, and differential scanning calorimetry, whereas their degradation behaviors were investigated in both phosphate buffered saline and enzymatic solutions. By tuning polyurethane segments, different release profiles of hydrophobic and hydrophilic drugs were obtained in the absence and presence of enzymes. Such difference in release profiles was attributed to a complex interplay among structure, hydrophobicity, and degradability of polyurethanes, the size and hydrophobicity of drugs, and drug-polymer interactions. Different drug-polyurethane combinations modulated the distribution and location of the drugs in polymer matrix, thus inducing different drug release mechanisms. Our results highlight an important role of segmental structure of the polyurethane as an engineering tool to control drug release.

Abnormal proliferation of aggressive fibroblast-like synoviocytes(FLS)and perpetuate synovial inflammation can inevitably accelerate the progression of rheumatoid arthritis(RA).Herein,a strategy of simultaneously promoting FLS apoptosis and inhibiting inflammation as mediated by macrophages is proposed to restore synovial homeostasis for effective RA therapy.A hyaluronic acid-based dissolvable microneedle(MN)is fabricated for transdermal delivery of dual human serum albumin(HSA)-contained biomimetic nanocomplexes to regulate RA FLS and *** skin insertion,dual nanocomplexes are released rapidly from the MN and accumulate in RA joint microenvironment through both passive and active targeting as mediated by ***-crosslinked fluorinated polyethyleneimine 1.8 K(^(TK)PF)was constructed to bind the plasmid encoding pro-apoptotic gene PUMA with HSA coating layer(^(TK)PF/pPUMA@HSA,TPH).TPH nanocomplexes can upregulate PUMA through RA FLS transfection to trigger efficient ***,HSA nanocomplexes encapsulating the classic anti-inflammatory natural product celastrol(Cel@HSA,CH)can inhibit inflammation of macrophages through blocking NF-κB pathway ***/CH MN can deplete RA FLS and inhibit M1 macrophage activation,suppress synovial hyperplasia as well as reduce bone and cartilage erosion in a collagen-induced arthritis(CIA)mouse model,demonstrating a promising strategy for efficient RA treatment.

Ion beam etching technique was used to reveal the metallograhpic microstructure and interface morphology of electroplating chromium coating, in particular, whose substrate surface layer was treated in advance by laser quenching. Chemical etchings were also conducted for comparison. The reveal microstructures were observed and analyzed by scanning electron microscopy. The results show that ion beam etching can reveal well the whole microstructures of composite coating-substrate materials.

The quartz vein-type gold deposits are widely hosted by the Neoproterozoic(Xiajiang Group) epimetamorphic clastic rock series in southeastern Guizhou Province, China. The Zhewang gold deposit studied in this paper occurs in the second lithological member of the Pinglue Formation of the Xiajiang Group. Trace element geochemistry of host rocks, quartz veins and arsenopyrite has revealed that ore-forming fluid was enriched in sulphophile elements such as Au, Ag, As, Sb, Pb and Zn, and simultaneously concentrated some magmaphile elements such as W and Mo, which probably provides some evidence for multi-stage mineralization or overprinting of magmatic hydrotherm. Quartz veins and arsenopyrite were characterized by depletion in HFSE and enrichment in LREE. Hf/Sm, Nb/La and Th/La imply that the ore-forming fluid was probably a NaCl-H2O solution system enriched in more Cl than F; Th/U values reflect the strong reducibility of the ore-forming fluid, coincident with the sulfide assemblages. The values of Co/Ni reflect that magmatic fluids may have partly participated in the ore-forming process and Y/Ho values have proved that the ore-forming fluid was associated with metamorphism and exotic hydrotherm which has reformed former quartz veins during late mineralization. The concentrations of REE, Eu anomalies and Ce anomalies of this deposit display that ore-forming elements mainly were derived from host rocks and possibly from a mixed deep source, and the ore-forming fluid was mixed by dominant metamorphic fluid and minor other sources. The physical-chemical conditions of ore-forming fluid changed from the initial stage to the late stage. The metamorphic fluid is responsible for the mineralization. Therefore, the Zhewang gold deposit is classified as a quartz vein-type gold deposit which may have been reformed by magmatic fluids during the late stage.

Impacts of Climatic Change on River Runoff in Northern Xinjiang of China over Last Fifty Years

The characteristics of climatic change and fiver runoff, as well as the response of fiver runoff to climatic change in the northern Xinjiang are analyzed on the basis of the hydrological and meteorological data over the last 50 years by the methods of Mann-Kendall nonparametric test and the nonlinear regression model. The results show that： 1） The temperature and the precipitation increased significantly in the whole northern Xinjiang, but the precipitation displayed no obvious change, or even a decreasing trend in the northern mountainous area of the northern Xinjiang. 2） River runoff varied in different regions in the northern Xinjiang. It significantly increased in the northern slope of the Tianshan Mountains and the north of the northern Xinjiang （p = 0.05）, while slightly ificreased in the west of the northern Xinjiang. 3） North Atlantic Oscillation （NAO） affects fiver runoff by influencing temperature and precipitation. The NAO and precipitation had apparent significant correlations with the fiver runoff, but the temperature did not in the northern Xinjiang. Since the mid-1990s fiver runoff increase was mainly caused by the increasing temperature in the northern slope of the Tianshan Mountains and the north of the northern Xinjiang. Increased precipitation resulted in increased fiver runoff in the west of the northern Xinjiang.
