Pow.r system stability is a very important issue in pow.r system engineering because a decrease in the stability margins can cause unacceptable operating conditions, w.ich leads to frequent failures. In this paper, SKM POw.R TOOLS PTw.32 Version 4.***.2.0 w.s used to study different Stability recovery tests after a medium voltage short circuit fault on a turbine generator in the pow.r system. The analysis focused on the generator electrical and mechanical powers stability recovery test, generator speed stability recovery test, excitation voltage stability recovery test, bus voltage and bus frequency stability recovery test. In our study, w.en the introduced fault w.s cleared after 0.5 s, it reveals that the recovery rate of electrical pow.r w.s much faster than that of mechanical pow.r. Also, the results reveal that it took about 10 seconds for the turbine speed to stabilize w.ile it took few.r seconds for the frequency to stabilize.

w. consider the grid resolution necessary to resolve combustion in a mixture of calorically imperfect ideal gases described by detailed kinetics and multicomponent *** the steady premixed laminar flame as a paradigm,the required spatial discretization to capture all detailed physics in the reaction zone is found via 1)determination of the finest grid used in a standard softw.re tool w.ich employs adaptive mesh refinement,2)examination of peak values of intermediate species mass fractions in the flame zone as a function of grid size,3)a formal grid resolution study,and 4)a robust new.eigenvalue analysis developed to estimate the finest length *** to laminar premixed flames in hydrogen-air flames reveals that the finest length scale is on the order of 10^(−4) cm for combustion at atmospheric *** at this scale is show. to be necessary to capture detailed species mass fraction profiles;other features such as steady flame speeds and equilibrium thermochemical properties do not have such a stringent length scale requirement.

The Chinese life-insurance industry has experienced major structural changes in recent years, primarily because of increasing demand and the entry of foreign insurers. Although the market is clearly booming, the efficiency of its grow.h and development is unclear. In this paper, w. evaluate the efficiency of life insurers operating in China and compare foreign firms w.th domestic firms. w. find that foreign insurers have not brought efficiency into the Chinese market, and that the market is still dominated by domestic giants. How.ver, the gap betw.en foreign insurers and domestic insurers is narrow.ng. After testing hypotheses regarding scale economy, technical progress andpotential improvements, w. discuss several issues＇ of importance to life insurers, market investors and government regulators.

Ferromagnetic semiconductor Ga_(1–x)Mn_(x)As_(1–y)P_(y) thin films go through a metal–insulator transition at low.temperature w.ere electrical conduction becomes driven by hopping of charge *** this regime,w. report a colossal negative magnetoresistance(CNMR)coexisting w.th a saturated magnetic moment,unlike in the traditional magnetic semiconductor Ga_(1–x)Mn_(x)*** analyzing the temperature dependence of the resistivity at fixed magnetic field,w. demonstrate that the CNMR can be consistently described by the field dependence of the localization length,w.ich relates to a field dependent mobility *** dependence is likely due to the random environment of Mn atoms in Ga_(1-x)Mn_(x)As_(1-y)P_(y) w.ich causes a random spatial distribution of the mobility that is suppressed by an increasing magnetic field.
