Numerical.simul.tions have been carded out for a supersonic two-dimensional.fl.w over open, rectangul.r cavities （l.ngth-to-depth ratios are l.D = 1.0 and 3.0） in order to investigate the effect of non-equil.brium condensation of moist air on supersonic internal.fl.ws around the cavity for the fl.w Mach number 1.83 at the cavity entrance. In the present computational.investigation, a condensing fl.w was produced by an expansion of moist air in a l.val.nozzl.. The computational.resul.s showed that the upstream travel.ng compression waves become weaker than those without the condensation. Consequentl., the weaker compression waves cannot excite the shear l.yer strongl. and ampl.tudes of oscil.ation in the cavity became smal.er than those without the condensation. The occurrence of the non-equil.brium condensation in case of l.D = 1.0 affected strongl. the ampl.tude and frequency of oscil.ation in the cavity compared with l.D = 3.0.

Objective:To expl.re the antioxidant and antidiabetic activities of Rhus l.ngipes(***)l.af and stem bark aqueous ***:*** l.af and stem bark infusions were characterized via gas-chromatography mass-spectroscopy(GC-MS)*** vitro antioxidant and carbohydrate and l.pid digestive enzyme inhibitory activities of *** infusions were ***,the modul.tory effects of *** infusions on intestinal.gl.cose absorption,muscl. gl.cose uptake,and biomarkers of renal.oxidative injury were *** docking was performed to determine the binding affinities of the identified compounds from the l.af and stem bark infusions on carbohydrate and l.pid digestive ***:GC-MS anal.sis reveal.d the presence of several.phytocompounds,incl.ding pal.itol.ic acid,octadecanamide,24,25-dihydroxyvitamin D and l.ascorbic *** bark infusion had significantl. higher total.phenol.c contents compared with the l.af infusion,with better DPPH scavenging[IC_(50):(10.50±1.03)μg/ml.and ferric reducing[IC_(50):(9.85±0.32)μg/ml.activities(Pl. increased gl.cose uptake in yeast suspension and rat psoas muscl. with marked suppression of gl.cose absorption in the rat jejunum(Pl.s,the infusions l.wered l.pid peroxidation,increased cel.ul.r reduced gl.tathione concentration,and the activities of superoxide dismutase and catal.se in renal.homogenate treated with FeSO_(4).Concl.sions:*** shows antioxidant and antidiabetic activities and coul. be a potential.therapeutic candidate for diabetes.

AIM To establ.sh minimum cl.nical.y important difference(MCID) for measurements in an orthopaedic patient popul.tion with joint *** Adul. patients aged 18 years and ol.er seeking care for joint conditions at an orthopaedic cl.nic took the Patient-Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System Physical.Function(PROMIS~? PF) computerized adaptive test(CAT), hip disabil.ty and osteoarthritis outcome score for joint reconstruction(HOOS JR), and the knee injury and osteoarthritis outcome score for joint reconstruction(KOOS JR) from February 2014 to April.2017. MCIDs were cal.ul.ted using anchorbased and distribution-based methods. Patient reports of meaningful.change in function since their first cl.nic encounter were used as an *** There were 2226 patients who participated with a mean age of 61.16(SD = 12.84) years, 41.6% mal., and 89.7% Caucasian. Mean change ranged from 7.29 to 8.41 for the PROMIS~? PF CAT, from 14.81 to 19.68 for the HOOS JR, and from 14.51 to 18.85 for the KOOS JR. ROC cut-offs ranged from 1.97-8.18 for the PF CAT, 6.33-43.36 for the HOOS JR, and 2.21-8.16 for the KOOS JR. Distribution-based methods estimated MCID val.es ranging from 2.45 to 21.55 for the PROMIS~? PF CAT; from 3.90 to 43.61 for the HOOS JR, and from 3.98 to 40.67 for the KOOS JR.
