Piezocatalytic activation of persulfate(PS) has great application potential in environmental remediation;however,the relationship between piezocatalyst thickness and catalytic activity is not clear,limiting the further improvement of catalytic activity and application of the ***,the Bi_(2)Fe_(4)O_(9)(BFO) piezocatalysts with tunable thickness were prepared through a facile hydrothermal method by tuning the molar ratio of Bi(NO_(3)),5H_(2)O and FeCl_(3)·6H_(2)O for piezocatalytic activation of peroxydisulfate(PDS).The BFO with the smallest thickness exhibits excellent catalytic activity,and the SO_(4)^(·-)and ·OH are the major reactive oxygen species for degrading organic *** XPS investigations and finite element analyses demonstrate that the decreased thickness of BFO not only exposes more Fe^(2+)sites for PDS activation,but also improve the piezoelectric effect to accelerate the regeneration of Fe^(2+),thus enabling an enhanced synergy effect between PDS activation and piezocatalysis for outstanding catalytic *** work provides an understanding of the relationship between thickness of piezocatalysts and its catalytic activity over PDS activation,facilitating the development of more efficient piezocatalysts and PS-based advanced oxidation processes.

Combining metal to form metal phosphide is a promising strategy to address the fast capacity decay of P rooted from its low electronic conductivity and large volume changes upon cycling. Cu_(3)P, which possesses a high theoretical gravimetric and volumetric capacity of 363 m Ahág^(-1) and 1028 AháL^(-1) and reasonable volume expansion of 156% during sodiation, was investigated as anode material in SIBs. Hollow-structured Cu_(3)P electrode delivers an initial de-sodiation capacity of * 159.0 m Ahág^(-1) with high capacity retention of ~85.1% over 50 cycles at 0.2 C rate and exhibits good rate performance,retaining 70% of the capacity when the current density increases from 0.2 C to 1.6 C. A 3 V-class full cell consisting of P2-Na_(2/3) Ni_(1/3) Mn_(1/2) Ti_(1/6)O_(2) cathode and Cu_(3)P anode was also assembled, which could achieve an energy density of ~189.3 Whákg^(-1)(based on the mass of both electrode materials) and average discharge voltage of~2.91 V when cycled in 1.0-4.3 V at 0.1C.

The potential application of high-capacity Sn_(4)P_(3)anode for potassium-ion batteries(PIBs)is hindered by the poor cycle stability mainly rooted from the huge volume changes upon cycling and low electronic *** address the above issues,sandwich-like struc-tured Sn_(4)P_(3)/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)was designed and synthesized as anode material for *** a result,Sn_(4)P_(3)/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)pre-sents superior cycle stability(retains a capacity of 103.2 mAh·g^(-1)even after 300 cycles at 1000 mA·g^(-1))and rate capability(delivers 60.7 mAh·g^(-1)at high current density of 2000 mA·g^(-1)).The excellent electrochemical perfor-mance of sandwich-like structured Sn_(4)P_(3)/Ti_(3)C_(2)Tx is orig-inated from the synergistic effect between Sn_(4)P_(3)and Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x),where Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)acts as a conductive matrix to facilitate electron transfer and buffer the volume change of Sn_(4)P_(3)particles upon cycling,while Sn_(4)P_(3)serves as pillars to prevent the collapse and stacking of Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)***,significant capacitive contribution is demonstrated as a major contributor to the excellent rate capability.

Previous studies on brain functional connectivity networks in children have mainly focused on changes in function in specific brain regions, as opposed to whole brain connectivity in healthy children. By analyzing the independent components of activation and network connectivity between brain regions, we examined brain activity status and development trends in children aged 3 and 5 years. These data could provide a reference for brain function rehabilitation in children with illness or abnormal function. We acquired functional magnetic resonance images from 15 3-year-old children and 15 5-year-old children under natural sleep cond让ions. The participants were recruited from five kindergartens in the Nanshan District of Shenzhen City, China. The parents of the participants signed an informed consent form with the premise that they had been fully informed regarding the experimental protocol. We used masked independent component analysis and BrainNet Viewer software to explore the independent components of the brain and correlation connections between brain regions. We identified seven independent components in the two groups of children, including the executive control network, the dorsal attention network, the default mode network, the left frontoparietal network, the right frontoparietal network, the salience network, and the motor network. In the default mode network, the posterior cingulate cortex, medial frontal gyrus, and inferior parietal lobule were activated in both 3- and 5-year-old children, supporting the "three-brain region theory” of the default mode network. In the frontoparietal network, the frontal and parietal gyri were activated in the two groups of children, and functional connectivity was strengthened in 5-year-olds compared with 3-year-olds, although the nodes and network connections were not yet mature. The high-correlation network connections in the default mode networks and dorsal attention networks had been significantly strengthened in 5-year

li-ion battery is an essential component and energy storage unit for the evolution of electric vehicles and energy storage technology in the ***,in order to cope with the temperature sensitivity of li-ion battery and maintain li-ion battery safe operation,it is of great necessary to adopt an appropriate battery thermal management system(BTMS).In this paper,the current main BTM strategies and research hotspots were discussed from two aspects:small-scale battery module and large-scale electrochemical energy storage power station(EESPS).The practical application situation,advantages and disadvantages,and the future development trend of each heat dissipation method(air,liquid,PCM,heat pipe,hybrid cooling) were described in *** them,the air cooling and liquid cooling were reviewed in-depth based on the engineering *** PCM,heat pipe and hybrid cooling were reviewed extensively based on the latest *** research provides a comprehensive understanding for the BTMS in all scales.

Tissue-engineered conduit using bladder acellular matrix and bladder epithelial cells for urinary diversion in rabbits

Background For muscle invasive bladder cancer, radical cystectomy is the most effective treatment now and urinary diversion is often necessary. The use of intestinal tissue for urinary diversion is frequently associated with complications. In this study, we aimed to make a tissue-engineered conduit （TEC） using bladder epithelial cells and bladder acellular matrix （BAM） for urinary diversion in rabbits. Methods Bladder epithelial cells of rabbit were cultivated and expanded in vitro, then seeded on BAM, and cultured for 7 days. Then cell-seeded graft was used to make TEC. In the experimental group, most of bladder of the rabbit was removed while bladder trigone was retained. The proximal end of TEC was anastomosed with bladder trigone and the distal end was anastomosed with the abdominal stoma. In the control group, TEC was made using unseeded BAM. Haematoxylin and eosin staining was conducted, respectively, at 1, 2, 4, and 8 weeks postoperatively. Immunohistochemistry was performed 8 weeks postoperatively. Intravenous urography, retrograde pyelography, and cystoscopy of TEC were made at 12 weeks postoperatively. Results All animals were alive in the experimental group. Haematoxylin and eosin staining showed epithelial coverage in TEC. Immunohistochemistry showed anti-cytokeratin AEI/AE3 antibody and anti-ZO1 antibody positive, confirming there were mature and functional epithelial cells on the lumen of TEC. Retrograde pyelography and intravenous urography showed that TEC developed well and that there was no obstruction. In the control group, four rabbits were dead within 2 weeks and scar formation, atresia, and severe hydronephrosis were found. Conclusions We successfully made TEC using BAM and bladder epithelial cells for urinary diversion in rabbits. The lumen of this new TEC covered mature epithelial cells and could prevent urinary extravasation.

Inverted perovskite solar cells （PSCs） have received great attention owing to the high certificated power conversion efficiency（PCE） reaching 26.7%. However, interfacial charge recombination is far superior to perovskite bulk charge recombination due to the use of fullerenes and their derivatives in inverted perovskite solar cells, which induces devastating open circuit voltage（VOC） losses. For this reason the present work attempts to use 4-chloropiperidine hydrochloride for the upper surface modification of perovskite to construct a quasi-two-dimensional （2D） structure with suitable 2D layer widths （n=2, 3 dominant）,which has a smaller electron carrier transport barrier without sacrificing short-circuit current （JSC） in the device. This strategy effectively passivates the interfacial defect states while promoting energy level alignment to achieve carrier dissociation and equilibrium transport at the interface, which in turn resulted in improved fill factor （FF）. In addition, additional energy levels are provided by 2D perovskites to collect hot carriers, resulting in improved device open circuit voltage （VOC）. As a result, the device PCE increases from 22.37%to 24.11%after the 4CPD treatment. In addition, the 4CPD-treated PSCs maintain 90%of the initial PCE after storage in an N2atmosphere at 50°C for 1,080 h, whereas the control devices show a 15%PCE loss under the same aging conditions. This work provides new opportunities to suppress interfacial charge recombination in inverted devices.

In recent years, silica nanoparticle aggregates （SNPAs） have been used to decrease the injection pressure of wells in low permeability reservoirs achieving good results. In order to study the mechanisms for reduction in the injection pressure of low permeability wells by the SNPA-diesel oil system injection, the microstructure of SNPAs was observed with a transmission electron microscope （TEM）. The particle size distribution of SNPAs was also measured by the laser scattering method. The viscosities of diesel oil and SNPA-diesel oil system were measured with a capillary viscometer. The effect of SNPAs on the solubility of wax in the diesel oil was experimentally studied. The influencing factors, including temperature and SNPA concentration in diesel oil, on wax solubility were analyzed. A pore-throat film displacement model （PTFDM） was built for mechanism explanation. The microstructure and size distribution analyses show that the SNPAs are in the nanometer size range. The viscosity of the SNPA-diesel oil system is lower than that of the diesel oil. The solubility of wax in the diesel oil increases greatly due to SNPA addition, the solubility ratio reaches 7.5. The solubility of wax in diesel oil increases with increases in the concentration of SNPAs in the diesel oil and with the temperature. It is proved that the addition of SNPAs to diesel oil helps remove the wax deposited near the wellbore. This maybe one of the main mechanisms for injection pressure decreases in low permeability reservoirs.
