Ammonia allows storage and transport of hydrogen over long distances and is an attractive potential hydrogen *** decomposition has recently been used for the conversion of ammonia to hydrogen and is regarded as a future technology for production of CO_(2)-free pure ***,a heterostructural Pt-Ir dual-layer electrode is developed and shown to achieve successful long-term operation in an ammonia electrolyzer with an anion exchange membrane(AEM).This electrolyzer consisted of eight membra ne electrode assemblies(MEAs)with a total geometric area of 200 cm~2 on the anode side,which resulted in a hydrogen production rate of 25 L h~(-1).We observed the degradation in MEA performance attributed to changes in the anode catalyst layer during hydrogen production via ammonia ***,we demonstrated the relationship between the ammonia oxidation reaction(AOR)and the oxygen evolution reaction(OER).

A time-dependent, mixed-segment, slack tide oxygen balance model has been developed for the study of a heavily polluted tidal river discharging to a coastal *** and reaeration, BOD settling, benthal demand, freshwater flushing, and tidal mixing are the key processes modelled. Significant features of the model include the oxygen balance formulation under anoxic conditions and the tidal exchange condition at the seaward boundary. The simple model enables a clear and consistent interpretation of a set of dry season water quality data and an assessment of the assimilative capacity of the river is also made.

Over the last 15 years, there have been major advances in the multimodal treatment of gastric cancer, in large part due to several phase Ⅲ studies showing the treatment benefits of neoadjuvant and adjuvantchemotherapy and chemoradiation protocols. The objective of this editorial is to review the current highlevel evidence supporting the use of chemotherapy, chemoradiation and anti-hER2 agents in both the neoadjuvant and adjuvant settings, as well as to provide a clinical framework for use of this data based on our own institutional protocol for gastric cancer. Major studies reviewed include the SWOG/INT 0116, Medical Research Council Adjuvant Gastric Infusional Chemotherapy(MAGIC), CLASSIC, ACTS-GC, Adjuvant Chemoradiation Therapy in Stomach Cancer(ARTIST) and Trastuzumab for Gastric Cancer trials. Although these studies have demonstrated that multiple approaches in terms of the timing and therapy for gastric cancer are effective, no standard of care is widely accepted and questions regarding the optimal timing of chemotherapy, the benefit of radiotherapy, the minimum required extent of lymphadenectomy and optimal chemotherapy regimen still exist. Protocols from the upcoming ARTIST Ⅱ, CRITICS, TOPGEAR, Neo-AEGIS and MAGIC-B studies are outlined, and results from these studies will provide critical information regarding optimal timing and treatment regimen. Additionally, the future directions of gastric cancer research predicated on molecular profiling and tailored therapies based on targetable genetic alterations in individual patient's tumors are addressed.

To improve neuromorphic computing performance,neuromorphic system components should mimic the behaviors of organic *** this study,a synaptic a-Si:h/a-Ga_(2)O_(3)phototransistor featuring all-optical and-electrical emulation is fabricated in a manner advantageous for complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor process *** phototransistor exhibits excitatory and inhibitory synaptic behaviors under stimulation by both optical and electrical *** mimics several essential synaptic functions,including excitatory postsynaptic current,inhibitory postsynaptic current,short-term memory,long-term memory,pairedpulse facilitation,and spike-timing-dependent *** optical and electrical modulation mechanisms are confirmed to arise from the a-Si:h/a-Ga_(2)O_(3) heterojunction structure and interface effects,and the device is shown to operate at low power in both optical and electrical *** all-optical weight modulation function is applied to the wavelength-differential behavior response of zebrafish,successfully mimicking the color perception process of the ***,to verify the translation of the optoelectrical-derived synaptic behaviors of the phototransistor into artificial neuromorphic computation,handwritten digit image recognition of the Modified National Institute of Standards and Technology dataset is performed by a convolutional neural network,with a demonstrated average learning accuracy of 98.46%.These findings verify the applicability of the synaptic a-Si:h/a-Ga_(2)O_(3) phototransistor in neuromorphic computing.

A flexible electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding film was innovatively fabricated using both low melting temperature solder arrays and amorphous soft magnet particulates consolidated on a polyethylene terephthalate(PET)***,the IneSneBi solder arrays presented a low melting point of 99.4C,which enabled attachment to the heat-sensitive plastic substrate without any thermal damage,and a low electrical resistivity of 14.1 mU cm,making them very effective at interrupting EM ***,the solder arrays with a high thermal conductivity of 61.2 W/(m$k)at 298.15 k were also useful as a thermal conductor for a heat ***,the solder arrays provide efficient electrical and thermal channels for electron transport induced by abruptly or consistently created EM waves due to suddenly turning on and the long term operation of electronics,***,the Fe-based magnetic particulates were added and resulted in effective saturation magnetization of 161.1 emu/g,remanence of 2.9 emu/g,and coercivity of 12.5 G,thus were able to disturb the EM pathway because of their soft magnetic ***,the hybrid EMI shielding film with exceptionally high electrical and thermal conductivity and superior soft magnetic properties provided remarkable shielding effectiveness of 102.5 dB at 10.2 Ghz.

Stacking of atomically thin layers of two-dimensional materials has revealed extraordinary physical phenomena owing to van der Waals(vdW)interaction at the ***,most of the studies focused on the transition metal dichalcogenide(TMD)/TMD heterostructure,while the interlayer coupling of the TMD/hexagonal boron nitride(h-BN)heterostructure has not been extensively explored despite its *** this study,the temperature-dependent interlayer coupling is demonstrated in a heterostructure of molybdenum disulfide(MoS2)and *** interface between MoS2 and the insulating substrate exerts a significant spectroscopic impact on MoS2 through substrate-induced local strain,charged impurity,and vdW *** non-resonant conditions,temperature-dependent peak shifts in Raman and photoluminescence(PL)spectra of MoS2 reveal the evolution of interlayer *** frequencies and PL peak energies at different temperatures demonstrate how substrate-induced strain,impurity,and vdW interactions at the interface influence phonon vibration and excitonic transition of *** resonant conditions at low temperature,anomalous Raman modes appear in the MoS2/h-BN heterostructure because of the enhanced electron-phonon coupling and vdW *** anomalous Raman modes are quantitatively investigated by the deconvolution of the resonance Raman spectra and described by interlayer coupling at low temperature,in agreement with complementary indications from the temperature-dependent evolution of non-resonant Raman and PL spectra.
