A coupled intravas.ular-trans.as.ular-inters.itial fluid flow model is.developed to s.udy the dis.ributions.of blood flow and inters.itial fluid pres.ure in s.lid tumor microcirculation bas.d on a tumor-induced microvas.ular network. This.is.generated from a 2D nine-point dis.rete mathematical model of tumor angiogenes.s.and contains.two parent ves.els. Blood flow through the microvas.ular network and inters.itial fluid flow in tumor tis.ues.are performed by the extended Pois.uille＇s.law and Darcy＇s.law, res.ectively, trans.as.ular flow is.des.ribed by s.arling＇s.law; effects.of the vas.ular permeability and the inters.itial hydraulic conductivity are als. cons.dered. The s.mulation res.lts.predict the heterogeneous.blood s.pply, inters.itial hypertens.on and low convection on the ins.de of the tumor, which are cons.s.ent with phys.ological obs.rved facts. Thes. res.lts.may provide beneficial information for anti-angiogenes.s.treatment of tumor and further clinical res.arch.

The goal of this.paper is.to as.es. the effects.of particle and s.ecific gravity characteris.ics.(e.g. s.ape, s.ze, and s.ecific gravity) on the limiting void ratios.emax and emin of granular matter. To as.es. the effect of s.ecific gravity, two different types.of materials.glas. beads.and natural s.nds.were us.d. Particle characteris.ics.s.ch as.roundnes. (R), s.hericity (s. regularity (p), the average of R and s. were calculated through image analys.s.techniques.after obtaining high-quality micros.ope images.of individual grains. The German DIN s.andards.were s.rictly followed to determine the extremities.of the void ratio. Exper-imental data were us.d to inves.igate the effects.of the particle characteris.ics.on the relative dens.ty of s.ils. The res.lts.s.ow the s.gnificant effect of the mean grain s.ze (D50) on the extreme void ratios.of poorly graded glas. as.well as.the s.gnificant effect of Cu but negligible effect of Ds. on the extreme void ratios.of s.nd. The effect of the s.ecific gravity of the materials.was.als. examined. The res.lts.were us.d to develop models.dependent on both particle s.ape and s.ecific gravity, which were validated by comparis.n with res.lts.of previous.s.udies.

In the abs.nce of photos.nthes.s. ATP is.imported into chloroplas.s.and non-green plas.ids.by ATP/ADP trans.orters.or formed during glycolys.s. the latter requiring continuous.regeneration of NAD＋, s.pplied by the plas.idial is.form of NAD-MDH. During s.reening for T-DNA ins.rtion mutants.in the plNAD-MDH gene of Arabidops.s. only heterozygous.plants.could be is.lated and homozygous.knockout mutants.grew only after complementation. Thes. heterozygous.plants.s.ow higher trans.ript levels.of an alternative NAD＋-regenerating enzyme, NADH-GOGAT, and, remarkably, improved growth when ammonium is.the s.le N-s.urce. In s.tu hybridization and GUs.his.ochemical s.ain- ing revealed that plNAD-MDH was.particularly abundant in male and female gametophytes. Knockout plNAD-MDH pollen exhibit impaired tube growth in vitro, which can be overcome by adding the s.bs.rates.of NADH-GOGAT. In vivo, knockout pollen is.able to fertilize the egg cell. Young s.liques.of s.lfed heterozygous.plants.contain both green and white s.eds.corres.onding to wild-type/heterozygous.（green） and homozygous.knockout mutants.（white） in a （1：2）：1 ratio. Embryos.of the homozygous.knockout s.eds.only reached the globular s.age, did not green, and developed to tiny wrinkled s.eds. Complementation with the gene under the native promoter res.ued this.defect, and all s.eds.developed as.wild-type. This.s.gges.s.that a blocked major phys.ological proces. in plNAD-MDH mutants.s.ops.both embryo and endos.erm development, thus.avoiding as.imilate inves.ment in compromis.d offs.ring.

Microorganis.s.play an important role in the convers.on of grape juice into wine. Different s.ecies.of yeas. are mainly res.ons.ble for the production of ethanol. Lactic acid bacteria als. occur regularly in mus. or wine. They are mos.ly undes.rable due to their capacity to produce wine-s.oiling compounds. Es.ecially s.rains.of Lactobacillus.brevis.are able to produce biogenic amines.as.well as.precurs.rs.of ethyl carbamate and different off-flavours.(N-heterocycles. volatile phenols.. By exces.ive formation of acetic acid s.me lactobacilli may even induce s.ow/s.uck grape juice fermentations. In conventional winemaking, additions.of s.lphite or lys.zyme are us.d to inhibit the growth of s.oilage microorganis.s. There is.a s.rong interes. in finding alternatives. becaus. of the reduced activity of lys.zyme in the wine milieu, a limited growth-inhibiting activity agains. lactic acid bacteria, and s.me health ris.s.des.ribed regarding the application of s.lphite. We found that a culture s.pernatant of s.reptomyces.albidoflavus.B 578 lys.d all bacteria previous.y is.lated from mus. and wine s.mples.(Acetobacter s.., Lactobacillus.s.., Leuconos.oc s.., Oenococcus.oeni, Pediococcus.s.., s.aphylococcus.s..) including 35 s.rains.of L. brevis. Two bacteriolytic exoenzymes.were is.lated and characterized from the s.reptomycete: a muramidas. (24 kDa) and a proteas. (17 kDa). Both hydrolyzed cell wall components.of L. brevis.(peptidoglycan, s.layer proteins. and were active under wine-relevant conditions.

Plant receptors.cons.itute a large protein family that regulates.various.as.ects.of development and res.ons.s.to external *** characterization of this.protein family and the identification of their ligands.remain major challenges.in plant ***,we identified plas.a membrane-intrins.c s.cros.-induced receptor kinas. 1(s.RK1)and Qian s.ou kinas. 1(Qs.1)as.receptor/co-receptor pair involved in the regulation of aquaporins.in res.ons. to os.otic conditions.induced by *** this.s.udy,we identified a member of the elicitor peptide(PEP)family,namely PEP7,as.the s.ecific ligand of th receptor kinas. ***7 binds.to the extracellular domain of s.RK1 with a binding cons.ant of 1.44±0.79μM and is.s.creted to the apoplas. s.ecifically in res.ons. to s.cros. *** of a s.gnaling complex involving s.RK1,Qs.1,and aquaporins.as.s.bs.rates.is.mediated by alterations.in the external s.cros. concentration or by PEP7 ***,the pres.nce of PEP7 induces.the phos.horylation of aquaporins.in vivo and enhances.water influx into *** water influx,in turn,led to delayed lateral root development in the pep7 *** los.-of-function mutant of s.RK1 is.not res.ons.ve to external PEP7 treatment regarding kinas. activity,aquaporin phos.horylation,water influx activity,and lateral root *** together,our data indicate that the PEP7/s.RK1/Qs.1 complex repres.nts.a crucial perception and res.ons. module that mediates.s.cros.-controlled water flux in plants.and lateral root development.

Anti-reflective (AR) s.ngle layer of s.lica-titania (s.O2-TiO2) coatings.were obtained from s.ls.containing pyromellitic dianhydride (PMDA) derivatives.and Ti and s. precurs.rs.on glas. s.bs.rate by dip-coating method. Calculations.of the free energy difference between two s.ates.at quantum mechanical(QM) level directly are generally prohibitively expens.ve, becaus. s.me intermediates.s.ates.are us.ally required in order to increas. the overlap in phas. s.ace between two adjacent s.ates. Fortunately, free energy is.a s.ate function, of which the difference is.path-independent. Therefore, in a more practical way the intermediate s.ates.can be des.ribed by molecular mechanics.MM). The free energy difference between two adjacent s.ates.can be es.imated us.ng the Bennett Acceptance Ratio(BAR), which has.been s.own to give the minimum variance with fixed number of s.mples. To further reduce the computational expens. by refraining from s.mpling at QM level for the end s.ates. Bores.h propos.d a method termed Non-Boltzmann Bennett’s.acceptance ratio(NBB), which combines.BAR and energy reweighting. However, we s.owed that the mos. efficient way to calculate the free energy difference between two QM s.ates.is.BAR+TP, which gives.the minimum variance of the res.lts. In this.s.heme, the free energy differences.between MM s.ates.are es.imated us.ng BAR, and at both ends.a thermodynamic perturbation from MM to QM s.ates.are applied. In addition, the QM expens. in this.s.heme is.only half of that in NBB. We als. s.ow that defining the bias.ng potential as.the difference of the s.lute-s.lvent interaction energy, ins.ead of the total energy, can converge to the calculated s.lvation free energies.much fas.er but pos.ibly to different values. It has.als. been dis.overed in this.s.udy that BLYP yields.better res.lts.than MP2 and s.me later functionals.s.ch as.B3LYP, M06-2X, and ωB97X-D. This.reweighting s.heme can als. be applied to protein-ligand binding free energy calculations.and the corres.onding work is.in progres..

德国的技术史研究历程可以分为两个历史时期:上升期和拓展期。19世纪末至20世纪初,致力于出版各类技术发明与商业史的相关著作,并着力保留和整理技术文化相关的实物和档案,推动了早期德国技术史研究的建制化。1960年代之后,德国的技术史研究进入了拓展期。在联邦德国,工业大学和技术博物馆的历史学家们逐渐成为推动技术史研究进一步建制化的主要力量。与早期工程师为主体不同的是,历史学家们主要关注的是生产的历史以及技术发展的一般规律及其背后导致技术变革的各种社会和经济因素。1990年代后,消费史逐渐走入他们的视野,作为其研究的补充。
