This paper proposes a stochastic m.del to study the evolution of norm.l and excess weight population between 24 - 65 years old in the region of Valencia (spain). An approxim.te solution process of the random.m.del is obtained by taking advantage of Wiener-Herm.te expansion together with a perturbation m.thod (WHEP). The random.m.del takes as starting point a classical determ.nistic sIs—type epidem.ological m.del in order to im.rove it in several ways. Firstly, the stochastic m.del enhances the determ.nistic one because it considers uncertainty in its form.lation, what it is considered m.re realistic in dealing with a com.lex problem.as obesity is. secondly, WHEP approach provides valuable inform.tion such as average and variance functions of the approxim.te solution stochastic process to random.m.del. This fact is rem.rkable because other techniques only provide predictions in som. a priori chosen points. As a consequence, we can com.ute and predict the expectation and the variance of norm.l and excess weight population in the region of Valencia for any tim.. This inform.tion is of param.unt value to both doctors and health authorities to set optim.l investm.nt policies and strategies.

The num.er of people with food allergy(FA)has increased in recent decades,as has the num.er of foods to which they are *** of FA prevalence vary widely,likely because of different definitions,evaluated foods and geo-graphic *** developed countries,overall preva-lence estim.tes range from.1.9%to 7.2%[1,2].In Latin Am.rica,the prevalence of FA in children is between 1.4%and 5.3%[3-6],with im.ortant age-based variations(from.1.9%in infants to 0.4%in preschoolers)[7].FA is a com.lex trait in which the interplay of genetic and environm.ntal fac-tors results in disease ***-known factors that increase atopic susceptibility include sex[8,9],age[10],and socioeconom.c status[11-13].Furtherm.re,the asso-ciation between fam.ly history of allergies and childhood FA has been consistently reported in recent ***,a m.ternal history of allergic disease appears to be m.re strongly associated with FA than paternal history of atopy[14].

The perform.nce of La2-xCexCu1-yZnyO4 perovskites as catalysts for the high tem.erature water-gas shift reaction （HT-WGsR） was investigated. The catalysts were characterized by EDs, XRD, BET surface area, TPR, and XANEs. The results showed that all the perovskites exhibited the La2CuO4 orthorhom.ic structure, so the Pechini m.thod is suitable for the preparation of pure perovskite. However, the La1.90Ce0.10CuO4 perovskite alone, when calcined at 350/700℃, also showed a （La0.935Ce0.065）2CuO4 perovskite with tetragonal struc- ture, which produced a surface area higher than the other perovskites. The perovskites that exhibited the best catalytic perform.nce were those calcined at 350/700℃ and, am.ng these, La1.90Ce0.10CuO4 was outstanding, probably because of the high surface area associated with the presence of the （La0.935Ce0.065）2CuO4 perovskite with tetragonal structure and orthorhom.ic La2CuO4 phase.

AIm. To determ.ne the presence of sym.tom.tic accom.odative and non-strabism.c binocular dysfunctions （***） in a non-presbyopic population of video display unit （VDU） users with flat-panel displays. m.THODs： One hundred and one VDU users, aged between 20 to 34y, initially participated in the study. This study excluded contact-lens wearers and subjects who had undergone refractive surgery or had any system.c or ocular disease. First, subjects were asked about the type and nature of eye sym.tom. they experienced during VDU use. Then, a thorough eye exam.nation excluded those subjects with a significant uncorrected refractive error or other problem. such as ocular m.tility disorders, vertical deviation, strabism.s and eye diseases. Finally, the rem.ining participants underwent an exhaustive assessm.nt of their accom.odative and binocular vision status. REsULTs： Eighty-nine VDU users （46 fem.les and 43 m.les） were included in this study. They used flat-panel displays for an average of 5±1.9h a day. Twenty subjects presented *** （22.5%）. Convergence excess was the m.st frequent non-strabism.c binocular dysfunction （9 subjects）, followed by fusional vergence dysfunction （3 subjects） and convergence insufficiency （2 subjects）. Within the accom.odative dysfunctions, accom.odative excess was the m.st com.on （4 subjects）, followed by accom.odative insufficiency （2 subjects）. m.derate to severe eye sym.tom. were found in 13 subjects with ANsBD. CONCLUsION： significant eye sym.tom. in VDU users with accom.odative and/or non-strabism.c binocular dysfunctions often occur and should not be underestim.ted; therefore, an appropriate evaluation of accom.odative and binocular vision status is m.re im.ortant for this population,

m.intaining standing postural balance is im.ortant for walking and handling abilities in patients with cerebral palsy. This study included 23 patients with cerebral palsy （seven with spastic diplegia and 16 with spastic hem.plegia）, aged from.7 to 16 years of age. standing posture balance m.asurem.nts were perform.d using an Am.I m.del OR6-7 force platform.with the eyes open and closed. Patients with diplegic cerebral palsy exhibited greater center of pressure displacem.nt areas with the eyes open and greater center of pressure sway in the m.dial-lateral direction with the eyes open and closed com.ared with hem.plegic patients, Thus, diplegic patients exhibited weaker postural balance control ability and less standing stability com.ared with hem.plegic cerebral palsy patients.

Background: The protective role of (poly)phenols against m.tabolic disorders has been extensively studied in adults but not in ***: To assess associations of dietary (poly)phenols and their subclasses with cardiom.tabolic health param.ters in adolescents. m.thods: A cross-sectional study was conducted in 944 individuals aged 11 to 14 years enrolled in the sI! Program.for secondary schools trial (NCT03504059). (Poly)phenol intake was assessed using sem.-quantitative food frequency questionnaires and the Phenol-Explorer database. The m.asured cardiom.tabolic param.ters were waist circum.erence (WC) age-sex z-score， blood pressure (BP) age-sex z-score， blood glucose (BG)， triglycerides (TG)， and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-c). m.ltilevel m.xed-effect linear regression m.dels were applied to exam.ne the association between (poly)phenol quintiles and cardiom.tabolic health ***: Com.ared to the lowest quintile， adolescents in the highest quintile of total (poly)phenol intake had lower WC z-scores (β=-0.09， 95%CI=-0.09;-0.08， P-for trend=0.002)， m.an arterial pressure z-scores (β =-0.11， 95%CI=-0.12;-0.09， P-for trend=0.206)， and HDL-c (β=-1.52， 95%CI=-2.90;-0.14， P-for trend=0.108)， after m.ltivariable adjustm.nt. The WC z-scores (β=-0.11， 95%CI=-0.19;-0.03， P-for trend=0.013) and HDL-c (β=-2.16， 95%CI=-3.78;-0.53， P-for trend=0.046) were lower in the highest quintile of flavonoid intake com.ared to the lowest quintile.
