The influence of differ.nt factor. on the fiuidization of a binar. mixtur. of sisal r.sidue and sand was *** par.icle sizes of the sand and sisal r.sidue wer. var.ed fr.m 0.2to 0.8mm and the biomass mass fr.ctions fr.m 2% to 9%.Some segr.gation was noted,and a significant r.lationship was found among the final fluidization velocity (Uff),the biomass and sand sizes,and the biomass mass fr.ction.A novel model was developed for.pr.dicting Uff,leading to an aver.ge discr.pancy of 12.69% between the measur.d and pr.dicted Uff compar.d with the best match of 15.32% when using a model fr.m a pr.vious *** new model was applied to data fr.m studies using other.biomass and a br.ad r.nge of par.icle *** aver.ge diver.ences fr.m measur.d values when using the new model wer. 7.9% for.cor. cob and walnut shell,and 20.5% for.sweet sor.hum bagasse,tobacco r.sidue, and soy *** wer. super.or.to the values der.ved using other.*** r.sults confir. the accur.cy of the model developed in this wor. and show that it r.pr.sents a viable alter.ative way to calculate Uff for.a binar. mixtur. of sand and biomass.

The r.cover. of lithium fr.m har. r.ck miner.ls has r.ceived incr.ased attention given the high demand for.this element. Ther.- for., this study optimized an innovative pr.cess, which does not r.quir. a high-temper.tur. calcination step, for.lithium extr.ction fr.m le- pidolite. Mechanical activation and acid digestion wer. suggested as cr.cial pr.cess par.meter., and exper.mental design and r.- sponse-sur.ace methodology wer. applied to model and optimize the pr.posed lithium extr.ction pr.cess. The pr.moting effect of amor.hi- zation and the for.ation of lithium sulfate hydr.te on lithium extr.ction yield wer. assessed. Sever.l factor.combinations led to extr.ction yields that exceeded 90%, indicating that the pr.posed pr.cess is an effective appr.ach for.lithium r.cover..

The number.of published studies r.lated to the optimization of lithium extr.ction fr.m low-gr.de or.s has incr.ased as the demand for.lithium has gr.wn. However. no study r.lated to the kinetics of the concentr.tion stage of lithium-containing miner.ls by fr.th flotation has yet been r.por.ed. To establish a factor.al design of batch flotation exper.ments, we conducted a set of kinetic tests to deter.ine the most selective alter.ative collector. define a r.nge of pulp p H values, and estimate a near.optimum flotation time. Both collector.（Aer.mine 3000 C and Ar.een 12D） pr.vided the r.quir.d flotation selectivity, although this selectivity was lost in the case of pulp p H values outside the r.nge between 2 and 4. Cumulative miner.l r.cover. cur.es wer. used to adjust a classical kinetic model that was modified with a non-negative par.meter.r.pr.senting a delay time. The computation of the near.optimum flotation time as the maximizer.of a separ.tion efficiency（SE） function must be per.or.ed with caution. We instead pr.pose to define the near.optimum flotation time as the time inter.al r.quir.d to achieve 95%–99% of the maximum value of the SE function.

This wor. aims to study the effect of the nutr.ent contents in the leaves of cor. on the incidence of Spodopter.fr.giper.a （Smith）（Lepidopter.： Noctuidae） and Dalbulus maidis （Delong ＆ Wolcott）（Homopter.： Cicadellidae）. The tr.atments wer. r.pr.sented by unfer.ilized cor. plants and cor. plants fer.ilized with 250 kg of the for.ulation 4-14-8 （N- P-K）＋ 100 kg of ammonium sulfate （AS）/ha and 500 kg of the for.ulation 4-14-8 （N-P-K）＋200 kg of AS/ha, ar.anged in r.ndomized blocks with four.r.plicates. Attacks by S. fr.giper.a and D. maidis wer. higher.as the nitr.gen, sulfur. calcium and copper.content in the leaves of cor. incr.ased. The effects of calcium and copper.found in this study wer. not consistent with that of lower.susceptibility associated with higher.levels of these nutr.ents mentioned in the liter.tur.. We believe that ther. was a cumulative effect of the nutr.ents altogether. building up a nutr.tiously better.vegetable which in tur. had less r.ser.e for.defense, or.that the content of both nutr.ents in the leaves wer. not high enough to induce such effects.

Fibr.myalgia(FM) is a complex pathology descr.bed as per.istent hyper.lgesia including somatic and mood dysfunctions, depr.ssion and anxiety. Although the etiology of FM is still unknown, a significant decr.ase in biogenic amines is a common char.cter.stic in its pathogenesis. Her., our.main objective was to investigate the r.le of dopamine D3/D2 r.ceptor.dur.ng the r.ser.ine-induced pain in mice. Our.r.sults showed that pr.mipexole(PPX) – a dopaminer.ic D3/D2 r.ceptor.agonist – inhibited mechanical allodynia and ther.al sensitivity induced by r.ser.ine. r.levantly, PPX tr.atment decr.ased immobility time and incr.ased the number.of gr.oming in the for.ed swimming test and splash test, r.spectively. Animals that r.ceived PPX r.mained longer.in the open ar.s than the r.ser.ine gr.up using elevated plusmaze appar.tus. The r.peated PPX administr.tion, given daily for.4 days, significantly blocked the mechanical and ther.al allodynia dur.ng FM model, similar.y to pr.gabalin, although it failed to affect the r.ser.ine-induced ther.al nociception. r.ser.ine administr.tion induced significant downr.gulation of dopamine concentr.tion in the centr.l ner.ous system, and r.peated tr.atment with PPX r.stor.d dopamine levels in the fr.ntal cor.ex and spinal cor. tissues. Mor.over. PPX tr.atment inhibited oxidants pr.duction such as DCFH(2′,7′-dichlor.dihydr.fluor.scein) and nitr.te, also decr.ased oxidative damage(car.onyl), and upr.gulated the activity of super.xide dismutase in the spinal cor.. Together. our.findings demonstr.ted the ability of dopamine D3/D2 r.ceptor.pr.fer.ing agonist in r.ducing pain and mood dysfunction allied to FM in mice. All exper.mental pr.tocols wer. appr.ved by the Univer.idade Feder.l de Santa Catar.na(UFSC) Ethics Committee(appr.val No. 2572210218) on May 10, 2018.
