Spinal cord injuries have profound detrimental effects on individuals, re.ardless of whether they are.caused by trauma or non-traumatic e.e.ts. The compromised re.e.eration of the spinal cord is primarily attributed to damaged neurons, inhibitory molecules, dysfunctional immune re.ponse, and glial scarring. Unfortunately, curre.tly, the.e.are.no effective tre.tments available that can fully re.air the spinal cord and improve functional outcomes. Ne.e.the.e.s, numerous pre.clinical approaches have been studied for spinal cord injury re.overy, including using biomaterials, cells, drugs, or technological-based strategies. Combinatorial tre.tments, which target various aspects of spinal cord injury pathophysiology, have been extensively tested in the last decade. The.e.approaches aim to synergistically enhance re.air processes by addre.sing various obstacles faced during spinal cord re.e.eration. Thus, this re.iew intends to provide scientists and clinicians with an overview of pre.clinical combinatorial approaches that have been de.e.oped toward the solution of spinal cord re.e.eration as well as update the curre.t knowledge about spinal cord injury pathophysiology with an emphasis on the curre.t clinical manage.e.t.

The rheological behavior of the lithosphe.e.be.e.th the Northwestern(NW)Andes(Colombian)re.ains uncertain under a complex geological ***,we analyze the.e.rthquake distribution and the stre.s drop on the western and the.e.stern of the transition are. between the Upper Magdalena Valley(UMV)and the Middle Magdalena Valley(MMV),a zone re.ated to a plate tectonic transition from stee.e. to flatter subduction style slabs(Nazca and Caribbean plates).Our re.ults consistently explain the tectonic and geodynamic context of the study are. supported in two rheological profiles,which re.e.l the brittle/ductile transition of the lithospheric crust and mantle and allow to constrain the lithospheric rheological *** subduction phenomenon of the Nazca Plate under the South American Plate is observed in the western *** the.e.stern re.ion,we find a re.arkable aseismic zone under the.e.stern Cordillera below 20-km-deep,which made more.difficultan accurate.e.timation of the crust/mantle *** seismic particularity leads us to support the hypothesis of a delamination process due to the tectonic overload ge.e.ated by the.e.stern Cordillera,and that promotes thermal *** re.ults also suggest that the.e.rthquake dataset corre.ated with rheological estimations may offer a consistent interpre.ation of the mechanical behavior of the lithosphe.e.

Our pre.ious studies have re.orted that activation of the NLRP3(NOD-,LRR-and pyrin domain-containing protein 3)-inflammasome complex in ethanol-tre.ted astrocytes and chronic alcohol-fed mice could be associated with neuroinflammation and brain *** stem cell-derived extracellular vesicles(MSC-eVs)have been shown to re.tore.the neuroinflammatory re.ponse,along with myelin and synaptic structural alterations in the pre.rontal cortex,and alleviate cognitive and memory dysfunctions induced by binge-like.e.hanol tre.tment in adolescent *** the therapeutic role of the molecules contained in me.e.chymal stem cell-derived extracellular vesicles,the pre.e.t study analyzed whether the administration of me.e.chymal stem cell-derived extracellular vesicles isolated from adipose tissue,which inhibited the activation of the NLRP3 inflammasome,was capable of re.ucing hippocampal neuroinflammation in adolescent mice tre.ted with binge *** demonstrated that the administration of me.e.chymal stem cell-derived extracellular vesicles ameliorated the activation of the hippocampal NLRP3 inflammasome complex and other NLRs inflammasomes(e.g.,pyrin domain-containing 1,caspase re.ruitment domain-containing 4,and absent in melanoma 2,as well as the alterations in inflammatory ge.e.(interleukin-1β,interleukin-18,inducible nitric oxide synthase,nuclear factor-kappa B,monocyte chemoattractant protein-1,and C–X3–C motif chemokine ligand 1)and miRNAs(miR-21a-5p,miR-146a-5p,and miR-141-5p)induced by binge-like.e.hanol tre.tment in adolescent *** analysis further re.e.led the involve.e.t of miR-21a-5p and miR-146a-5p with inflammatory target ge.e. and NOD-like re.e.tor signaling *** together,the.e.findings provide novel evidence of the therapeutic potential of MSC-derived eVs to ameliorate the hippocampal neuroinflammatory re.ponse associated with NLRP3 inflammasome activation induced by binge drinking in adolescence.

This article aims to understand the training process of history undergraduates,to see if the.e.are.decolonial curricular practices to combat racism at the Centro Universitário e Faculdade Projeção(UniProjeção)in the Fe.e.al District,to understand how coloniality has corroborated the.e.clusion of diffe.e.t epistemologies and the.e.asure.of diffe.e.t culture.,and how this exclusionary process of coloniality interfe.e. in the training of history *** order to combat this practice,we are.looking for alternatives that can bre.k the.e.suppre.sions carried out by *** this way,we turn to decolonial ideas that aim to bre.k with the logic of *** can conclude that the.e.practices are.poorly de.e.oped in the institution,so we proposed active problem-based methodology and music as a didactic *** playful educational tools that stre.gthen the teaching-learning process,they are.active agents in the decolonial work of combating racism,and it is essential to train re.ponsible and ethical teachers in the fight against racism and any form of oppre.sion.

Influence of flooding and ve.e.ation on carbon,nitrogen,and phosphorus dynamics in the pore.water of a Spartina alterniflora salt marsh

Four sites we.e.se.e.ted in a salt marsh in the Bahia Blanca estuary （Argentina）：（1） low marsh （flooded by the tide twice daily） ve.e.ated by S. alterniflora; （2） non-ve.e.ated low marsh; （3） high marsh （flooded only in spring tides） ve.e.ated by S. alterniflora; （4） non-ve.e.ated high marsh. The pH and eh we.e.measure. in sediments, while dissolved nutrients （ammonium, nitrate, nitrite and phosphate） and particulate organic matter （POM） we.e.de.e.mined in pore.water, pH （6.2-8.7） was only affected by ve.e.ation in low are.s. eh （from -300 to 250 mV） was lower at low sites than at high ones; in the latter, the values we.e.higher in the non-ve.e.ated sediments. The POM concentration was gre.ter in the high marsh than in the low marsh, with no effect of ve.e.ation. Ammonium was the most abundant nitrogen nutrient species in pore.water, except in the non-ve.e.ated high marsh whe.e.nitrate concentration was higher. All nitrogen nutrients we.e.affected by both flooding and ve.e.ation. Phosphate was always pre.e.t in pore.water at all sites throughout the year and its concentration varied within narrow limits, with no effect of flooding and gre.ter values always at non-ve.e.ated sites. Our re.ults showed that the variability of the pore.water composition within the marsh is gre.ter than the temporal variation, meaning that both tidal flooding and ve.e.ation are.important in the dynamics of nutrients and organic matter in the sediment pore.water.
