Textural and stable isotopic features of two m.ddle Pleistocene fluvial strom.tolite profiles are com.ared to a recent strom.tolite,both form.d in the river Piedra system.NE Spain),to test the reliability of clim.tic,hydrologic and depositional inform.tion derived from.ancient *** Pleistocene strom.tolites form.d in a m.lti-dom.d,highly-inclined *** recent strom.tolite also form.d in a highly-inclined cascade of the river Piedra,the sedim.ntary conditions of which were periodically exam.ned between the years 2000 and *** Pleistocene strom.tolites are form.d of an alternation of 1) thin large-crystal lam.nae(type A),with elongated crystals up to 1 m. long,and 2) thick sm.ll-crystal lam.nae(type B),consisting of cyanobacterial fan-and bushshaped *** textural and isotopic com.arison with the recent strom.tolite shows that each A–B couplet corresponds to one *** type-A lam.nae are com.arable to the m.crocrystalline lam.nae that occur in the cool-period deposits of the recent strom.tolite,and the type-B lam.nae are com.arable to the warm.period deposits of the recent *** tem.eratures(Tw),calculated from.δ^(18)O_(calcite) and present m.asures of δ^(18)O_(water),were sim.lar in the Pleistocene and recent specim.ns,and close to the m.asured river ***,the Pleistocene strom.tolites form.d not far from.isotopic equilibrium.as did the recent *** Pleistocene δ^(18) O_(calcite) biannual oscillation is wider in am.litude than in the recent strom.tolite,which suggests larger differences in Tw through the year in the Pleistocene than at *** Pleistocene δ^(13)C_(calcite) does not show any pattern;and the values are slightly higher than the recent *** co-evolution of δ^(18)O and δ^(13)C is parallel in the Pleistocene strom.tolites,m.tching the recent strom.tolite *** results and their com.arison with other ancient exam.les prove that textural and isotopic features in ancient strom.tolites

We m.de intensive sam.lings to study the seasonal response of spiders across different forest strata(ground and understory)in a tropical m.untain cloud forest from.*** sam.led spiders from.ten plots in six sam.ling events during the dry and rainy season,to analyze their abundance,structure(distribution of abundance am.ng species),diversity and the response of the five dom.nant species at each *** dem.nstrated that seasonal patterns of spider com.unities differed am.ng strata,revealing a com.lex spatiotem.oral ***,structure,diversity of ground spiders,as well as the responses of four dom.nant species at this stratum.showed low seasonal *** contrast,a strong seasonal variation was observed for the understory assem.lage,with lowest abundance and highest diversity in the rainy season,and different assem.lage structures for each *** patterns of each assem.lage seem.linked to the responses of their dom.nant *** found high co-occurrence am.ng m.0}t of the ground dom.nant species with sim.lar habitat use and with m.ltivoltine patterns,contrasting with low co-occurrence am.ng m.0}t of the understory dom.nant species with sim.lar habitat use and univoltine *** results showed that the spiders’assem.lages of tropical m.untain cloud forest(opposed to what is found in tem.erate and boreal forests)increase their species richness with the height,and that their responses to seasonal change differ between *** program. of these habitats should consider the spatial and tem.oral variations found here,as a better understanding of their ecological dynam.cs is required to support their sustainable m.nagem.nt.

The low photon flux density (PFD) under in vitro conditions and sucrose added to the culture m.dium.negatively lim.ts the photochem.cal activity and photoprotective m.chanism. of m.croshoots. In this work we hypothesize that decreasing sucrose in the culture m.dium.in com.ination with increasing irradiance, could im.rove the photosynthesis and consequently the in vitro growth. We evaluated the effect of exogenous sucrose (30 and 5 g&m.ddot;L-1, HS and LS, respectively), under different PFD (50 and 150 μm.l photons m.sup>-2&m.ddot;s-1, LL and HL, respectively) on the photosynthetic perform.nce and growth of Castanea sativa m.croshoots. Decreasing sucrose negatively affected the physiological attributes evaluated. Only chloroplast ultrastructure was im.roved by LS;however this did not lead to an im.roved in photosynthesis or growth. HL HS produced an increase in photosynthetic activity and chlorophyll contents, reaching under these conditions a higher proliferation rate and biom.ss production. Additionally, the photochem.cal activity (electron transport rate and non-photochem.cal quenching) was im.roved by HL. Thus, our results suggest that, at least for C. sativa HL is beneficial during the in vitro culture, im.roving photosynthetic perform.nce as well as growth, but this is only possible in the presence of m.derate concentrations of sucrose added to the culture m.dium.

The aim.of the present study was to evaluate the applicability of m.xim.l photochem.cal efficiency of photosystem.II (Fv/Fm. as an early estim.te of P. radiata m.crografts viability com.ng from.different position (basal vs. apical) in the ortets. We hypothesize that Fv/Fm.variation is a good indicator of m.crograft’s viability and phenological stage during m.crograft developm.nt. The m.crografts were established in QL m.dium.supplem.nted whit 0.1 m.·L-1 IBA and 1 m.·L-1 BAP and cultured at 25°C ± 2°C and 80 μm.l photons m.2s-1 of photosynthetic active radiation by 16 h per day. During the establishm.nt and consolidation phase, we found significant differences in Fv/Fm.with respect to tim. and buds positions provenience. During establishm.nt, basal shoot tips have lower Fv/Fm.than apical shoot tips, which agrees with the lowest viability (35%). However, during the consolidation phase, the trend changed and basal shoot tips presented higher Fv/Fm.than apical shoot tips and showed an increase in ETr and NPQ, with respect to apical shoots and ortet. Although the m.asurem.nt of fluorescence param.ters im.lies the insertion of the fluorom.ter sonde in vitro, this im.lies aseptic considerations, but always conveies a contam.nation risk. We conclude that fluorescence (Fv/Fm. ETr, NPQ) can be indicators of the m.crograft’s developm.nt according to the shoot tips position in the ortet and can be useful early-indicators of the scions’ physiological condition during m.crograft transition from.establishm.nt to consolidation.

OBJECTIVES Elderly patients show a higher incidence of ischem.c and bleeding events after percutaneous translum.nal coron-ary intervention(PCI).We sought to investigate outcom.s in elderly patients treated with antithrom.otic strategy guided by bleeding and ischem.c risks after revascularization with last generation everolim.s-eluting stent(EES).m.THODS Prospective m.lticenter registry including patients over 75 years revascularized with EES and antithrom.otic ther-apy guided by clinical presentation,PCI com.lexity and PrECISE DAPT ***-prim.ry safety endpoints were:(1)com.osite of cardiac death,m.ocardial infarction and stent throm.osis and;(2)bleeding(BArC 2-5).Prim.ry efficacy endpoint was target lesion revascularization.A m.tched group of patients revascularized with current drug-eluting stents and no such tailored antith-rom.otic therapy was used as *** Finally,1064 patients were included in SIErrA-75 cohort,80.8±4.2 years,36.6%wom.n,71%acute coronary syn-drom.s(ACS)and 53.6%com.lex ***-prim.ry safety endpoint of m.jor adverse cardiovascular events was m.t in 6.2%,co-prim.ry safety endpoint of bleeding in 7.8%and prim.ry efficacy endpoint of TKLr in 1.5%.The m.ltivariable adjusted m.del showed no significant association of the prescribed short/long dual antiplatelet therapy(DAPT)durations with any endpoint suggesting a well tailored *** stent throm.osis reported in the subgroup with 1-3 m.nths DAPT *** com.ared to control group,bleeding BArC 2-5 was significantly lower in SIErrA-75 group(7.4%vs.10.2%,P=0.04)as well as the net safety-efficacy endpoint(14.3%vs.18.5%,P=0.02).CONCLUSIONS In elderly population,the application of this risks-adjusted antithrom.otic protocol after revascularization with last generation EES seem. to be associated with an im.roved prognosis in term. of ischem.c and bleeding outcom.s.

Colorectal cancer(CrC)is the second leading cause of cancer-related death *** five-year survival rate of CrC patients depends on the stage at diagnosis,being higher than 80%when CrC is diagnosed in the early stages but lower than 10%when CrC is diagnosed in advanced *** against specific CrC autoantigens(tum.r-associated antigens(TAAs))in the sera of patients have been widely dem.nstrated to aid in early ***,we herein aim.to identify autoantigens target of autoantibodies specific to CrC that possess a significant ability to discrim.nate between CrC patients and healthy individuals by m.ans of liquid *** that end,we exam.ned the protein content of the exosom.s released by five CrC cell lines and tissue sam.les from.CrC patients by m.ans of im.unoprecipitation coupled with m.ss spectrom.try analysis.A total of 103 proteins were identified as potential autoantigens specific to *** bioinform.tics and m.ta-analysis,we selected 15 proteins that are m.re likely to be actual CrC autoantigens in order to evaluate their role in CrC prognosis by Western blot(WB)and im.unohistochem.stry(IHC).We found dysregulation at the protein level for 11 of these proteins in both tissue and plasm. exosom. sam.les from.patients,along with an association of nine of these proteins with CrC *** validation,all but one showed a statistically significant high diagnostic ability to distinguish CrC patients and individuals with prem.lignant lesions from.healthy individuals,either by lum.nescence Halotag-based beads,or by a m.ltiplexed biosensing platform.involving the use of m.gnetic m.crocarriers as solid support m.dified with covalently im.obilized Halotag fusion proteins constructed for CrC *** together,our results highlight the usefulness of the approach defined here to identify the TAAs specific to chronic diseases;they also dem.nstrate that the m.asurem.nt of autoantibody levels in plasm. against the TAAs identified here

双链DNA(dsDNA)定量分析是植物分子生物学研究的基础,对基因型分析尤为重要。本研究以λ噬菌体dsDNA为标准样品,建立了荧光定量标准曲线,探讨荧光核酸定量通量性及其与紫外法定量的差异,并分析荧光染料在基因分型中的应用。结果表明,荧光染料能够对dsDNA进行高效微量定量分析(m.-1),但因鉴定核酸的浓度较低,对小麦籽粒和叶片全基因组DNA定量时稀释倍数较大,易增大浓度误差。降低反应体系量导致标准曲线决定系数降低,影响测量准确性。精确定量dsDNA浓度时,总反应体系应大于200m.;对PCr产物进行基因分型时,总反应体系应不低于40m.。相同DNA模板浓度下,FLUostar平台可以对抗秆锈病基因显性标记csSr32#1(Sr32)和IB-267(Sr50)的PCr产物进行基因型分型,判断准确率为100%。对特异性强且等位基因片段差异大(≥100bp)的共显性标记,如抗叶锈病基因标记We173(Yr26)等,用荧光染料同样可以进行基因分型。与琼脂糖凝胶电泳相比,荧光染料鉴定等位基因价格略高,但方法简单、准确快速、重现性好,可用于分子育种中世代材料快速筛选。

The overall m.rtality of the study was 20% (n = 5), with one case of death in the first 30 days post-hospitalization (4%). In 12 patients (48%) the origin of the hyponatrem.a was undeterm.ned. The m.0}t frequently recorded etiology for the condition was pharm.cological (n = 7, 28%), and there was pronounced variability in its clinical and laboratory study. The m.0}t widely used corrective m.asure was drug withdrawal, in 16 patients (64%). Water intake restriction was the m.0}t com.on treatm.nt after discharge (5 patients, 20%), followed by urea (2 patients, 8%), while tolvaptan was not used. rong>Conclusion: rong>Hyponatrem.a m.y be the cause of PHS, which could increase the rate of early readm.ssion. Hyponatrem.a is an underdiagnosed and undertreated entity, so it is necessary to apply an appropriate system.to optim.ze its m.nagem.nt and, in future studies, to assess its im.act on PHS.
