Effect of date palm pollen supplementation on female sexual function in non-menopausal women:A double blind randomized clinical trial

Objective:Despite numerous experimental studies in the literature,there are few clinical trials regarding the effect of date palm pollen(DPP)supplementation on sexual function *** the present study,we sought to evaluate the impact of DPP on female sexual function in Iranian non-menopausal ***:Between October 2019 and December 2019,health centers in the city of Khalkhal,volunteers meeting the inclusion criteria were recruited in randomized clinical ***-eight women were randomly stratified and assigned to one of the two study groups:placebo group(n=35)and palm pollen group(n=35),and received a starch or palm pollen capsule(300 mg per day),respectively,for 35 *** Female Sexual Function Index(FSFI)instrument was used to assess female sexual ***:After DPP supplementation,the increase in desire,lubrication,and the overall score,was statistically significant compared to the placebo group(P=0.002,P=0.000,and P=0.042;respectively);Whilst there was no significant differences in the remaining domains(arousal:P=0.763;orgasm:P=0.370;satisfaction:P=0.474;pain:P=0.259).there was a statistically significant positive correlation between the coitus and preintervention levels of desire(r=0.298,P=0.038),arousal(r=0.328,P=0.021),lubrication(r=0.361,P=0.011),orgasm(r=0.320,P=0.025),satisfaction(r=0.327,P=0.022),and overall scores(r=0.338,P=0.018).conclusion:this study suggests that DPP(300 mg supplementation for 35 d),given to non-menopausal women,could improve the lubrication and desire domains of FSFI.

Purpose:the aim of this study was to review,systematically,evidence concerning the link between the ActN3 R577X polymorphism and the rates and severity of non-contact injuries and exercise-induced muscle damage in athletes and individuals enrolled in exercise training ***:A computerized literature search was performed in the electronic databases PubMed,Web of Science,and SPORtDiscus,from inception until November *** included studies compared the epidemiological characteristics of non-contact injury between the different genotypes of the ActN3 R577X ***:Our search identified 492 *** the screening of titles,abstracts,and full texts,13 studies examining the association between the ActN3 genotypes and the rate and severity of non-contact injury were included in the *** studies were performed in 6 different countries(Spain,Japan,Brazil,china,the Republic of Korea,and Italy)and involved a total participant pool of 1093 *** the studies,2 studies involved only women,5 studies involved only men,and 6 studies involved both men and *** the studies included were classified as highquality studies(≥6 points in the Physiotherapy Evidence Database(PEDro)scale score).Overall,evidence suggests there is an association between the ActN3 R577X genotype and non-contact injury in 12 *** studies observed a significant association between A ctN3 R577X polymorphism and exercise induced muscle damage:2 with non-contact ankle injury,3 with non-contact muscle injury,and 1 with overall non-contact ***:the present findings support the premise that possessing the ActN3 XX genotype may predispose athletes to a higher probability of some non-contact injuries,such as muscle injury,ankle sprains,and higher levels of exercise-induced muscle damage.

Numerous studies links movement activity(e.g.,physical activity,sedentary behavior[SB],and sleep)with mental health or illness indicators during the cOVID-19 pandemic;however,research has typically examined time-use behaviors independently,rather than considering daily activity as a 24-hour time-use *** cross-sec-tional study aimed to use compositional isotemporal analysis to estimate the association between reallocation of time-use behaviors and depression symptoms in young adults in ***(n=1475;68.0%of female;20.7[1.60]years)reported their time spent in moderate to vigorous physical activity(MVPA),light physical activ-ity(LPA),SB,and *** SB with sleep,LPA,and MVPA at 5,10,or 15 min was signiﬁcantly associated with lower estimated depression symptoms *** example,adding MVPA from SB at 15 min was associated with lower depression symptoms scores(estimated difference:-0.13[-0.17,-0.09]).the associations between reallocation of time use behaviors with depression symptoms scores were slightly *** results emphasize the importance of increased MVPA and decreased SB as well as their mutual replacements for lowering the risks of depression symptoms in young adults during the cOVID-19 *** results can inform policy to develop effective plans and strategies for mental health promotion.

Research on the population in western world showed that,MSE(muscle-strengthening exercise)is beneficial to the treatment of mental ***,the situation in chinese adults is little *** this reason,the study is performed to understand the connection between depression and MSE among college and university students in china aged between 18 to 24.1793 college students have been recruited,and their average age is 20.67.A questionnaire has been developed and it is self-reported and designed to collect information about MSE and participants,including body mass index and sex and so *** and physical activity have been evaluated by introducing two scales,that is,Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index and International Physical Activity Questionnaire-Short Form,***,Patient Health Questionnaire-9 has been adopted to indicate the severity of depression of *** link between depression and MSE has been studied by introducing multilevel linear *** all these study participants,just 24.87%of them met the MSE standards of World Health Organization,that is,more than 2 days every *** average depression score was 6.80(±5.19).Greater num-ber of days for MSE shows negative association with the depression,with (beta=-0.17,95%cI:-0.31 to-0.03,p=0.015).those students failing to meet MSE standards are more susceptible to the depression risk(beta=0.63,95%cI:0.09–0.19,p=0.027).the results show that,there is a relationship between MSE participation and relieved status of depression among young adults in *** designed to relieve depression can be developed on the basis of MSE.

Nanoarchitectured LiMn_2O_4/Graphene/ZnO composites as Electrodes for Lithium Ion Batteries

LiMn2O4 nanoparticles are facilely synthesized using a sol-gel processing method. Graphene is added to LiMn2O4 electrode aiming at increasing specific capacity and improving rate capability. In order to further improve cycling stability of LiMn2O4/graphene electrode, atomic layer deposition （ALD） is used to deposit ultrathin ZnO coating composed of six ZnO ALD layers and modify the surface of either LiMn2O4/graphene electrode or individual LiMn2O4 particles to form nanoarchitectured LiMn2O4/graphene/ZnO electrodes. Both ZnO-ALD-modified LiMn2O4/graphene electrodes demonstrate enhanced cycling performance at 1c, retaining the final discharge capacity above 122 mA h g 1 after 100 electrochemical cycles, which is higher than 115 mA h g-1 of pristine LiMn2O4/graphene electrode and 109 mA h g-1 of bare LiMn2O4 electrode. the improved electrochemical performance of nanoarchitectured LiMn2O4/graphene/ZnO electrodes can be attributed to the cooperative effects from high electronic conductivity of graphene sheets to facilitate electron transportation and effective protection of ZnO ALD coating to restrict Mn dissolution and electrolyte decomposition.

Integrins and their potential roles in mammalian pregnancy

Integrins are a highly complex family of receptors that, when expressed on the surface of cells, can mediate reciprocal cell-to-cell and cell-to-extracellular matrix(EcM) interactions leading to assembly of integrin adhesion complexes(IAcs) that initiate many signaling functions both at the membrane and deeper within the cytoplasm to coordinate processes including cell adhesion, migration, proliferation, survival, differentiation, and metabolism. All metazoan organisms possess integrins, and it is generally agreed that integrins were associated with the evolution of multicellularity, being essential for the association of cells with their neighbors and surroundings, during embryonic development and many aspects of cellular and molecular biology. Integrins have important roles in many aspects of embryonic development, normal physiology, and disease processes with a multitude of functions discovered and elucidated for integrins that directly influence many areas of biology and medicine, including mammalian pregnancy, in particular implantation of the blastocyst to the uterine wall, subsequent placentation and conceptus(embryo/fetus and associated placental membranes) development. this review provides a succinct overview of integrin structure, ligand binding, and signaling followed with a concise overview of embryonic development, implantation, and early placentation in pigs, sheep, humans, and mice as an example for rodents. A brief timeline of the initial localization of integrin subunits to the uterine luminal epithelium(LE) and conceptus trophoblast is then presented, followed by sequential summaries of integrin expression and function during gestation in pigs, sheep, humans, and rodents. As appropriate for this journal, summaries of integrin expression and function during gestation in pigs and sheep are in depth, whereas summaries for humans and rodents are brief. Anhydrous cu(OAc)2 mediated efficient protocol has been developed in the area of c-O coupling from potassium aryltrifluoroborates and aliphatic amino alcohols such as β-hydroxy, γ-hydroxy, and δ-hydroxy amines. the scope of this transformation focuses on direct O-arylation and O-styrylation. the reaction vial loaded with reactants under argon atmosphere is microwaved at 140°c for 30 min to furnish the corresponding cross-coupling product, amino ethers, in good yields.

In recent years,our world has experienced significant disruptions due to the cOviD-19 pandemic,and Russia's 2022 invasion of Ukraine,impacting human activities and the global *** paper explored air quality changes in Ukraine due to cOVID-19,and Russia's invasion of Ukraine using on-demand with a what-you-see-is-what-you-get *** the cOVID-19 pandemic,strict quarantine policies in Ukraine led to a 2%reduction in tropospheric NO_(2) concentration before the lockdown and 4%during the lockdown *** like Kyiv,Donetsk,and Dnipro exhibited reductions of 5%,11%,and 16%,*** SO_(2) column concentration decreased by 6%before the lockdown and 2.5%during the lockdown period,except in high population density *** showed the highest reduction of 17%in SO_(2) concentration,while Donetsk and Dnipro exhibited an 11%***,during the Russian invasion,there was a significant increase in tropospheric NO_(2) concentration in heavily destroyed Kharkiv while most eastern regions experienced a *** total SO_(2) column was 48%higher before the war but reduced throughout the country after the war,except for in Kyiv and a few central *** findings can contribute to analyzing air pollution and building digital twin simulations for future reconstruction scenarios.

titanium alloys find extensive use in the aerospace and biomedical industries due to a unique combination of strength,density,and corrosion *** of mostly experimental research has led to a large body of knowledge of the processingmicrostructure-properties *** much of the existing understanding of point defects that play a significant role in the mechanical properties of titanium is based on semi-empirical *** this work,we present the results of a detailed self-consistent first-principles study that was developed to determine formation energies of intrinsic point defects including vacancies,selfinterstitials,and extrinsic point defects,such as,interstitial and substitutional impurities/*** find that most elements,regardless of size,prefer substitutional positions,but highly electronegative elements,such as c,N,O,F,S,and cl,some of which are common impurities in ti,occupy interstitial positions.
