Exploring the impact of Nafion modifier on electrocatalytic CO_(2) reduction over Cu catalyst

Nafion as a universal polymer ionomer was widely applied for nanocatalysts electrode preparation.However,the effect of Nafion on electrocatalytic performance was often overlooked,especially for CO_(2)electrolysis.Herein,the key roles of Nafion for CO_(2)RR were systematically studied on Cu nanoparticles(NPs)electrocatalyst.We found that Nafion modifier not only inhibit hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)by decreasing the accessibility of H_(2)O from electrolyte to Cu NPs,and increase the CO_(2)concentration at electrocatalyst interface for enhancing the CO_(2)mass transfer process,but also activate CO_(2)molecule by Lewis acid-base interaction between Nafion and CO_(2)to accelerate the formation of^(*)CO,which favor of C–C coupling for boosting C_(2)product generation.Owing to these features,the HER selectivity was suppressed from 40.6%to 16.8%on optimal Cu@Nafion electrode at-1.2 V versus reversible hydrogen electrode(RHE),and as high as 73.5%faradaic efficiencies(FEs)of C_(2)products were achieved at the same applied potential,which was 2.6 times higher than that on bare Cu electrode(~28.3%).In addition,Nafion also contributed to the long-term stability by hinder Cu NPs morphology reconstruction.Thus,this work provides insights into the impact of Nafion on electrocatalytic CO_(2)RR performance.

Type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM),more commonly known as chronic metabolic disease,is characterized by insufficient insulin secretion or insulin resistance.Due to the rise of T2DM globally,it is of great importance to decrease the number of complications,consequential morbidity,and mortality stemming from hyperglycemia.[1]The normal steady-state blood glucose level has become an important metric for T2DM prognosis and is recognized as one of the major results of drug therapies for diabetes.[2]This review outlines nine major types of antidiabetic drugs,relevance to functional mechanisms,which could provide a reference for the research and development of T2DM treatment drugs.

Realizing high-rate capability and high-efficiency utilization of polyanionic cathode materials is of great importance for practical sodium-ion batteries(SIBs) since they usually suffer from extremely low electronic conductivity and limited ionic diffusion kinetics. Herein, taking Na_(3.5)V_(1.5)Mn_(0.5)(PO_(4))_(3)(NVMP) as an example, a reinforced concrete-like hierarchical and porous hybrid(NVMP@C@3DPG) built from 3D graphene(“rebar”) frameworks and in situ generated carbon coated NVMP(“concrete”) has been developed by a facile polymer assisted self-assembly and subsequent solid-state method. Such hybrids deliver superior rate capability(73.9 m Ah/g up to 20 C) and excellent cycling stability in a wide temperature range with a high specific capacity of 88.4 m Ah/g after 5000 cycles at 15 C at room temperature, and a high capacity retention of 97.1% after 500 cycles at 1 C(-20 ℃), and maintaining a high reversible capacity of 110.3 m Ah/g in full cell. This work offers a facile and efficient strategy to develop advanced polyanionic cathodes with high-efficiency utilization and 3D electron/ion transport systems.

Characteristics of Salvia miltiorrhiza methylome and the regulatory mechanism of DNA methylation in tanshinone biosynthesis

Salvia miltiorrhiza is a model medicinal plant with significant economic and medicinal value.Its roots produce a group of diterpenoid lipophilic bioactive components,termed tanshinones.Biosynthesis and regulation of tanshinones has attracted widespread interest.However,the methylome of S.miltiorrhiza has not been analysed and the regulatory mechanism of DNA methylation in tanshinone production is largely unknown.Here we report single-base resolution DNA methylomes from roots and leaves.Comparative analysis revealed differential methylation patterns for CG,CHG,and CHH contexts and the association between DNA methylation and the expression of genes and small RNAs.Lowly methylated genes always had higher expression levels and 24-nucleotide sRNAs could be key players in the RdDM pathway in S.miltiorrhiza.DNA methylation variation analysis showed that CHH methylation contributed mostly to the difference.Go enrichment analysis showed that diterpenoid biosynthetic process was significantly enriched for genes with downstream overlapping with hypoCHHDMR in July_root when comparing with those in March_root.Tanshinone biosynthesis-related enzyme genes,such as DXS2,CMK,IDI1,HMGR2,DXR,MDS,CYP76AH1,2OGD25,and CYP71D373,were less CHH methylated in gene promoters or downstream regions in roots collected in July than those collected in March.Consistently,gene expression was up-regulated in S.miltiorrhiza roots collected in July compared with March and the treatment of DNA methylation inhibitor 5-azacytidine significantly promoted tanshinone production.It suggests that DNA methylation plays a significant regulatory role in tanshinone biosynthesis in S.miltiorrhiza through changing the levels of CHH methylation in promoters or downstreams of key enzyme genes.

洛河组砂岩用新型无固相冻胶注浆体系

洛河组砂岩采动地层涌水频繁,严重影响了矿井安全生产。针对传统注浆体系面临渗滤效应严重和成胶性能不可控,难以实现裂隙出水有效调控的技术难题,通过分析5种天然典型岩心样品(含砾砂岩、巨粒砂岩、粗粒砂岩、中粒砂岩、细粒砂岩)的矿物组成及微观形貌,明确了孔隙微观赋存特征,构建了低成本、稳定性优异的无固相冻胶注浆体系。通过物理模拟驱替实验研究了冻胶注浆体系的注入性和封堵性能,通过核磁共振在线驱替实验研究了注浆封堵前后岩心中的孔隙分布变化特征。结果表明,孔隙直径小和孔喉连通性差是造成传统注浆体系难以顺利注入和深部运移的地质原因。由于渗滤效应的存在,传统注浆体系的固化封堵效果明显低于理论设计。以0.5%~0.6%聚丙烯酰胺、0.6%~0.7%有机胺类单体交联剂、0.07%~0.08%酚类单体交联剂和0.2%~0.3%有机酸类调节剂为原料,构建了低成本、无固相、易深部注入的新型冻胶注浆体系。该冻胶注浆体系可实现48h内成胶,180d内未见明显脱水,长期老化稳定性优异。冻胶注浆体系的注入性良好,持续冲刷岩心后的压力衰减率为7.85%~20.95%,封堵率为82.04%~92.19%。冻胶注浆体系通过占据大孔道或裂缝空间,增大渗流阻力,迫使后续流体转向,实现出水层有效封堵。该研究成果可为洛河组砂岩注浆堵水施工提供新思路。

Salvia miltiorrhiza is well known for its clinical practice in treating heart and cardiovascular diseases.Its roots,used for traditional Chinese medicine materials,are usually brick-red due to accumulation of red pigments,such as tanshinone IIA and tanshinone I.Here we report a S.miltiorrhiza line(shh)with orange roots.Compared with the red roots of normal S.miltiorrhiza plants,the contents of tanshinones with a single bond at C-15,16 were increased,whereas those with a double bond at C-15,16 were significantly decreased in shh.We assembled a high-quality chromosome-level genome of shh.Phylogenomic analysis showed that the relationship between two S.miltiorrhiza lines with red roots was closer than the relationship with shh.It indicates that shh could not be the mutant of an extant S.miltiorrhiza line with red roots.Comparative genomic and transcriptomic analyses showed that a 1.0 kb DNA fragment was deleted in shh Sm2OGD3m.Complementation assay showed that overexpression of intact Sm2OGD3 in shh hairy roots recovered furan D-ring tanshinone accumulation.Consistently,in vitro protein assay showed that Sm2OGD3 catalyzed the conversion of cyptotanshinone,15,16-dihydrotanshinone I and 1,2,15,16-tetrahydrotanshinone I into tanshinone IIA,tanshinone I and 1,2-dihydrotanshinone I,respectively.Thus,Sm2OGD3 functions as tanshinone 15,16-dehydrogenase and is a key enzyme in tanshinone biosynthesis.The results provide novel insights into the metabolic network of medicinally important tanshinone compounds.

大量的自动或半自动道路提取方法如雨后春笋,但生成的产品通常缺乏导航属性信息,如路段的等级、限速等,制约“大路优先”“限速提醒”等智能导航服务。因此,本文以路段为分析单元,考虑上下游邻接路段强相关性,提出一种改进的路段等级、限速属性信息挖掘方法。首先进行轨迹、路网数据预处理,实现轨迹点与归属路段的连接。然后基于对数据和任务的认识进行多模态道路互补特征设计。最后顾及目标路段及其上下游邻接信息,利用随机森林开展面向路段的等级、限速信息分析。与单类特征相比,集成路网与轨迹特征之后提高了路段等级、限速分类准确率。与仅顾及目标路段进行路段等级、限速分类相比,顾及空间邻接信息进行路段等级、限速分类效果更好。

Pulmonary valve stenosis(PVS)is one common right ventricular outflow tract obstruction problem in patients with tetralogy of Fallot(TOF).Congenital bicuspid pulmonary valve(BPV)is a condition of valvular stenosis,and the occurrence of congenital BPV is often associated with TOF.Dynamic computational models of normal pulmonary root(PR)with tri-leaflet and PR with BPV in patients with TOF were developed to investigate the effect of geometric structure of BPV on valve stress and strain distributions.The pulmonary root geometry included valvular leaflets,sinuses,interleaflet triangles and annulus.Mechanical properties of pulmonary valve leaflet were obtained from biaxial testing of human PV leaflet,and characterized by an anisotropic Mooney-Rivlin model.The complete cardiac cycle was simulated to observe valve leaflet dynamic stress/strain behaviors.Our results indicated that stress/strain distribution patterns of normal tri-leaflet pulmonary valve(TPV)and the BPV were different on valve leaflets when the valve was fully open,but they were similar when valves were completely closed.When the valve was fully open,the BPV maximum stress value on the leaflets was 197.2 kPa,which was 94.3%higher than of the normal TPV value(101.5 kPa).During the valve was fully open,the stress distribution in the interleaflet triangles region of the PR was asymmetric in the BPV model compared with that in the TPV model.The geometric orifice area value in the completely opened position of BPV model was reduced 55.6%from that of the normal PV.Our initial results demonstrated that valve geometrical variations with BPV may be a potential risk factor linked to occurrence of PVS in patients with TOF.Computational models could be a useful tool in identifying possible linkage between valve disease development and biomechanical factors.Large-scale clinical studies are needed to validate these preliminary findings.
