Understanding the immune responses elicited by saRS-CoV-2 infection is critical in terms of protection against reinfection and,thus,for public health policy and vaccine development for *** this study,using either live saRS-CoV-2 particles or retroviruses pseudotyped with the saRS-CoV-2 S viral surface protein(Spike),we studied the neutralizing antibody(nAb)response in serum samples from a cohort of 140 saRS-CoV-2 qPCR-confirmed infections,including patients with mild symptoms and also more severe forms,including those that required intensive *** show that nAb titers correlated strongly with disease severity and with anti-spike IgG ***,patients from intensive care units exhibited high nAb titers;conversely,patients with milder disease symptoms had heterogeneous nAb titers,and asymptomatic or exclusive outpatient-care patients had no or low *** found that nAb activity in saRS-CoV-2-infected patients displayed a relatively rapid decline after recovery compared to individuals infected with other ***,we found an absence of cross-neutralization between endemic coronaviruses and saRS-CoV-2,indicating that previous infection by human coronaviruses may not generate protective nAbs against ***,we found that the d614G mutation in the spike protein,which has recently been identified as the current major variant in Europe,does not allow neutralization ***,our results contribute to our understanding of the immune correlates of saRS-CoV-2-induced disease,and rapid evaluation of the role of the humoral response in the pathogenesis of saRS-CoV-2 is wa.ra.ted.

Haloperidol-induced dyskinesia has been linked to a reduction in dopamine activity characterized by the inhibition of dopamine receptive sites on d2-receptor (d2R). As a result of d2R inhibition, calcium-linked neural activity is affected and seen as a decline in mo-tor-cognitive function after prolonged haloperidol use in the treatment of psychotic disorders. In this study, we have elucidated the relationship between haloperidol-induced tardive dyskinesia and the neural activity in motor cortex (M1), basal nucleus (CPu), prefrontal cortex (PFC) and hippocampus (ca1). Also, we explored the role of Vitamin d3 receptor (Vd3R) activation as a therapeutic target in improving motor-cognitive functions in dyskinetic mice. dyskinesia was induced in adult BALB/c mice after 28 days of haloperidol treatment (10 mg/Kg;intraperitoneal). We established the presence of abnormal involuntary movements (AIMs) in the haloperidol treated mice (-d2) through assessment of the threshold and amplitude of abnormal involuntary movements (AIMs) for the Limbs (Li) and orolingual (ol) area (Li and ol AIMs). As a confirmatory test, the dyskinetic mice (-d2) showed high global AIMs score when compared with the Vd3ra intervention group (-d2/+VdR) for Li and ol AIMs. Furthermore, in the behavioral tests, the dyskinetic mice exhibited a decrease in latency of fall (loF;Rotarod-P 2/+VdR), 100 mg/Kg for 7 days, CPu-ca1 burst activity was restored leading to a decrease in abnormal movement, and an increase in motor function. Ultimately, we deduced that Vd3ra activation reduced the threshold of abnormal movement in haloperidol induced dyskinesia.

目的探讨立体定向结合脑血管造影与MRI影像融合在治疗脑动静脉畸形引发癫痫时对脑功能区、脑内病变和致痫灶空间范围的定位作用。方法对17例患者采用Tala.ra.h立体定向系统,绘制脑皮质表面血管图,并与三维MRI成像进行融合,标注脑功能区并设计术前深部电极放置部位和手术方案。结果17例患者获得了清晰的立体脑血管造影与MRI图像,涉及手术部位包括额叶8例、顶叶6例、颞叶2例和枕叶1例。手术完整切除动静脉畸形。术后随访1年,8例未见癫痫发作。结论该技术可以保证术前准确定位病灶,有利于术中判断脑沟回和功能区,避免损伤皮质功能区和血管。

High level of preoperative carbohydrate antigen 19-9 is a poor survival predictor in gastric cancer

Early dynamic transcriptomic changes during preoperative radiotherapy in patients with rectal cancer: A feasibility study

AIM: To develop novel biomarkers of rectal radiotherapy, we measured gene expression profiles on biopsies taken before and during preoperative radiotherapy. METHodS: Six patients presenting with a locally advanced rectal cancer (T>T2, N0/Nx, M0) eligible for preoperative radiotherapy (45 Gy in 25 fractions) were selected in a pilot study. Six tumor and 3 normal tissues biopsies were taken before and during radiotherapy,after a dose of 7.2 Gy at a median time of 1 h following irradiation (0:27-2:12). Tumor or normal tissue purity was assessed by a pathologist prior to RNA extraction. Mean RNA content was 23 μg/biopsy (14-37) before radiotherapy and 22.7 μg/biopsy (12-35) during radiotherapy. After RNA amplification, biopsies were analysed with 54K HG-U133A Plus 2.0 Affymetrix expression micro-a.ra.s. data were normalized according to MAS5 algorithm. A gene expression ratio was calculated as: (gene expression during radiotherapy-gene expression before radiotherapy)/gene expression before radiotherapy. Were selected genes that showed a.ra.io higher than ± 0.5 in all 6 patients. RESULTS: Microa.ra. analysis showed that preoperative radiotherapy significantly up-regulated 31 genes and down-regulated 6 genes. According to the Gene ontology project classification, these genes are involved in protein metabolism (AdAMdEC1 ; AKAP7 ; caPN5 ; CLIC5 ; CPE ; CREB3L1 ; NEdd4L ; raB27A), ion transport (AKAP7 ; ATP2A3 ; CCL28 ; CLIC5 ; F2RL2 ; NEdd4L ; SLC6A8), transcription (AKAP7 ; CREB3L1 ; ISX ; PAB-PC1L ; TXNIP), signal transduction (caPN5 ; F2RL2 ; ra- B27A ; TNFRSF11A), cell adhesion (AdAMdEC1 ; PXdN ; SPoN1 ; S100A2), immune response (CCL28 ; PXdN ; TNFRSF11A) and apoptosis (ITM2C ; PdCd4 ; PVT1). 由于不同的原因,弯斑瓢虫(Coccinella geminopunctata),纵条瓢虫(***)和隐斑瓢虫(Ballia obscurosignata)三个新种被认为应当包括在即将付印的《中国经济昆虫志:瓢虫科》一书中。为了便于使用新种的学名,更为便于日后的查考,特先在学报发表该三种的记述。就如在其他分类工作中一样,雌雄两性的外生殖器对种的辨识起了很大作用。在这次工作中,发现雌瓢虫的生殖片基部柄形部分在各种中有相当的差异,可能发展为有用的特征,因此命名为“基柄”(ca-pulus)。继1950年的尝试,本文对瓢虫外生殖器的汉文名词做了一次增补与修订。
