An effective and reliable prediction of the remaining useful life(RUL)of a tool is important to a metal forming process because it can significantly reduce unexpected maintenance,avoid machine shutdowns and increase system *** study proposes a new data-driven approach to the RUL prediction for metal forming processes under multiple contact sliding *** data-driven approach took advantage of bidirectional long short-term memory(BLSTM)and convolutional neural networks(CNN).A pre-trained lightweight CNN-based network,WearNet,was re-trained to classify the wear states of workpiece surfaces with a high accuracy,then the classification results were passed into a BLSTM-based regression model as inputs for RUL *** experimental results demonstrated that this approach was able to predict the RUL values with a small error(below 5%)and a low root mean square error(RMSE)(around 1.5),which was more superior and robust than the other state-of-the-art methods.

Metal oxide supported metal catalysts show promising catalytic performance in many industry-relevant ***,the enhancement of performance is often limited by the insufficient metal/metal oxide *** this work,we demonstrate a general synthesis of Pt-early transition metal oxide(Pt-MO_(x),M=Ti,Zr,V,and Y)catalysts with rich interfacial sites,which is based on the air-induced surface segregation and oxidation of M in the supported Pt-M alloy *** characterizations verify the dynamic structural response of Pt-M alloy catalysts to air and the formation of Pt-MO_(x) catalysts with abundant interfacial *** prepared Pt-TiO_(x) interfacial catalysts exhibit improved performance in hydrogenation reactions of benzaldehyde,nitrobenzene,styrene,and furfural,as a result of the heterolytic dissociation of H_(2) at Pt-metal oxide interfacial sites.

Vibration with a frequency of 100 Hz is widely distributed in the power equipment,and it can provide a new way to supply energy for sensors by vibration energy *** vibration energy harvesting method based on electromagnetic induction principle was studied through the arrayed structure of magnets and *** magnetic field models were established for four magnet array structures and it was found that the alternating magnet array has the largest magnetic flux and magnetic flux *** on the alternating magnet array,prototypes of energy harvester with vertical and parallel movement mode were *** structural parameter optimisation analysis,two different energy harvesters were fabricated and it was found that the energy harvester with a parallel movement mode has better output *** energy harvester could provide output voltage/current and power of 8.35 V/17.39 mA and 15.13 mW(matched resistance is 200Ω)at an acceleration of 5 m⋅s^(-2).The 100 mF capacitor could be charged to 2.72 V within 300 s,and the final voltage of the capacitor is greater than 3 V,which could sustainably drive commercial wireless temperature/humidity sensors.

Currently,highly efficient n-i-p perovskite solar cells rely on an organic interface layer for high efficiency,especially 2,2',7,7'-tetrakis[N,N-bis(4-methoxyphenyl)ami-no]-9,9′-spirobifluorene(spiro-OMeTAD),but the instability of organic materials in the photothermal field compromises device *** this study,we employ the oleic acid(YS)/oleamine(YA)end-sealing method to achieve uniform dispersion of NiO_(X)nanoparticles,effectively mitigating coagulation resulting from high local concentration and secondary motion ***,the conductivity of the hole transport layer and its energy level alignment with perovskite is enhanced by the additional 2,3,5,6-tetrafluoro-7,7',8,8'-tetracyanodimethyl-p-benzoquinone(F4TCNQ),leading to a remarkable improvement of open-circuit voltage and fill factor,thus the high efficiency of 25.17%and 24.36%on 0.1 and 1.01cm2,***,by realizing an all-inorganic interface layer,an initial efficiency exceeding 90%is maintained even after 2,800 h of heating at 85℃.

Metabolic modeling and machine learning(ML)are crucial components of the evolving next-generation tools in systems and synthetic biology,aiming to unravel the intricate relationship between genotype,phenotype,and the ***,the comprehensive exploration of integrating these two frameworks,and fully harnessing the potential of fluxomic data,remains an unexplored *** this study,we present,rigorously evaluate,and compare ML-based techniques for data *** hybrid model revealed that the overexpression of six target genes and the knockout of seven target genes contribute to enhanced ethanol ***,we investigated the influence of succinate dehydrogenase(SDH)on ethanol biosynthesis in Saccharomyces cerevisiae through shake flask *** findings indicate a noticeable increase in ethanol yield,ranging from 6%to 10%,in SDH subunit gene knockout strains compared to the wild-type ***,in pursuit of a high-yielding strain for ethanol production,dual-gene deletion experiments were conducted targeting glycerol-3-phosphate dehydrogenase(GPD)and *** results unequivocally demonstrate significant enhancements in ethanol production for the engineered strains Δsdh4Δgpd1,Δsdh5Δgpd1,Δsdh6Δgpd1,Δsdh4Δgpd2,Δsdh5Δgpd2,and Δsdh6Δgpd2,with improvements of 21.6%,27.9%,and 22.7%,***,the results highlighted that integrating mechanistic flux features substantially improves the prediction of gene knockout strains not accounted for in metabolic *** addition,the finding in this study delivers valuable tools for comprehending and manipulating intricate phenotypes,thereby enhancing prediction accuracy and facilitating deeper insights into mechanistic aspects within the field of synthetic biology.

Direct reduction based on hydrogen metallurgical gas-based shaft furnace is a promising technology for the efficient and low-carbon smelting of vanadium-titanium ***,in this process,the sticking of pellets occurs due to the aggregation of metal-lic iron between the contact surfaces of adjacent pellets and has a serious negative effect on the continuous *** paper presents a detailed experimental study of the effect of TiO2 on the sticking behavior of pellets during direct reduction under different *** showed that the sticking index(SI)decreased linearly with the increasing TiO2 *** phenomenon can be attributed to the increase in unreduced FeTiO3 during reduction,leading to a decrease in the number and strength of metallic iron interconnections at the sticking *** the TiO2 addition amount was raised from 0 to 15wt%at 1100°C,the SI also increased from 0.71%to 59.91%.The connection of the slag phase could be attributed to the sticking at a low reduction temperature,corresponding to the low sticking ***,the interconnection of metallic iron became the dominant factor,and the SI increased sharply with the increase in re-duction ***2 had a greater effect on SI at a high reduction temperature than at a low reduction temperature.
