Bone screws are devices used to fix implants or bones to bones.However,conventional screws are mechanically fixed with thread and often face long-term failure due to poor osseointegration.To improve osseointegration,screws are evolving from solid and smooth to porous and rough.Additive manufacturing(AM)offers a high degree of manufacturing freedom,enabling the preparation of predesigned screws that are porous and rough.This paper provides an overview of the problems currently faced by bone screws:long-term loosening and screw breakage.Next,advances in osseointegrated screws are summarized hierarchically(sub-micro,micro,and macro).At the sub-microscale level,we describe surface-modification techniques for enhancing osseointegration.At the micro level,we summarize the micro-design parameters that affect the mechanical and biological properties of porous osseointegrated screws,including porosity,pore size,and pore shape.In addition,we highlight three promising pore shapes:triply periodic minimal surface,auxetic structure with negative Poisson ratio,and the Voronoi structure.At the macro level,we outline the strategies of graded design,gradient design,and topology optimization design to improve the mechanical strength of porous osseointegrated screws.Simultaneously,this paper outlines advances in AM technology for enhancing the mechanical properties of porous osseointegrated screws.AM osseointegrated screws with hierarchical design are expected to provide excellent long-term fixation and the required mechanical strength.

Background: Adamantinomatous craniopharyngioma (ACP) is the commonest pediatric sellar tumor. No effective drug is available and interpatient heterogeneity is prominent. This study aimed to identify distinct molecular subgroups of ACP based on the multi-omics profiles, imaging findings, and histological features, in order to predict the response to anti-inflammatory treatment and immunotherapies.Methods: Totally 142 Chinese cases diagnosed with craniopharyngiomas were profiled, including 119 ACPs and 23 papillary craniopharyngiomas. Whole-exome sequencing (151 tumors, including recurrent ones), RNA sequencing (84 tumors), and DNA methylome profiling (95 tumors) were performed. Consensus clustering and non-negative matrix factorization were used for subgrouping, and Cox regression were utilized for prognostic evaluation, respectively.Results: Three distinct molecular subgroups were identified: WNT, ImA, and ImB. The WNT subgroup showed higher Wnt/β-catenin pathway activity, with a greater number of epithelial cells and more predominantly solid tumors. The ImA and ImB subgroups had activated inflammatory and interferon response pathways, with enhanced immune cell infiltration and more predominantly cystic tumors. Mitogen-activated protein kinases (MEK/MAPK) signaling was activated only in ImA samples, while IL-6 and epithelial-mesenchymal transition biomarkers were highly expressed in the ImB group, mostly consisting of children. The degree of astrogliosis was significantly elevated in the ImA group, with severe finger-like protrusions at the invasive front of the tumor. The molecular subgrouping was an independent prognostic factor, with the WNT group having longer event-free survival than ImB (Cox,P = 0.04). ImA/ImB cases were more likely to respond to immune checkpoint blockade (ICB) therapy than the WNT group (P <0.01). OBJECTIVE:To investigate whether the Chinese massage system,Tuina,exerts analgesic effects in a rat model of chronic constriction injury(CCI)by remodeling the synaptic structure in the spinal cord dorsal horn(SCDH).METHODS:Sixty-nine male Sprague–Dawley rats were randomly and evenly divided into the normal group,sham group,CCI group,CCI+Tuina group,CCI+MK-801[an N-methyl D-aspartate receptor subtype 2B(NR2B)antagonist]group,and CCI+MK-801+Tuina group.The neuropathic pain model was established using CCI with right sciatic nerve ligation.Tuina was administered 4 d after CCI surgery,using pressing manipulation for 10 min,once daily.Motor function was observed with the inclined plate test,and pain behaviors were observed by the Von Frey test and acetone spray test.At 19 d after surgery,the L3-L5 spinal cord segments were removed.Glutamate,interleukin 1β(IL-1β),and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)levels were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.The protein expression levels of NR2B and postsynaptic density protein-95(PSD-95)were detected by Western blot,and the synaptic structure was observed by transmission electron microscopy(TEM).RESULTS:CCI reduced motor function and caused mechanical and cold allodynia in rats,increased glutamate concentration and TNF-αand IL-1βlevels,and increased expression of synapse-related proteins NR2B and PSD-95 in the SCDH.TEM revealed that the synaptic structure of SCDH neurons was altered.Most of these disease-induced changes were reversed by Tuina and intrathecal injection of MK-801(P<0.05 or<0.01).For the majority of experiments,no significant differences were found between the CCI+MK-801 and CCI+MK-801+Tuina groups.CONCLUSIONS:Chinese Tuina can alleviate pain by remodeling the synaptic structure,and NR2B and PSD-95 receptors in the SCDH may be among its targets.

Aqueous electrochromic battery（ECB） has shown intense potential for achieving energy storage and saving simultaneously.While tungsten oxide（WO3） is the most promising EC material for commercialization,the cycling stability of WO3-based aqueous ECBs is currently unsatisfactory due to the repeated phase transition during the redox process and the corrosion by acidic electrolytes.Herein,we present a titanium-tungsten oxide alloy（Ti-WO3） with controllable morphology and crystal phase synthesized by a facile hot injection method to overcome the challenges.In contrast to conventional monoclinic WO3,the Ti-WO3nanorods can stably maintain their cubic crystal phase during the redox reaction in an acidic electrolyte,thus leading to dramatically enhanced response speed and cycling stability,Specifically,when working in a well-matched hybrid Al3+/Zn2+aqueous electrolyte,our phasetransition-free cubic Ti-WO3exhibits an ultra-high cycling stability（>20000 cycles）,fast response speed（3,95 s/4,65 s for bleaching/coloring）,as well as excellent discharge areal capacity of 214.5 mA h m-2,We further fabricate a fully complementa ry aqueous electrochromic device,for the first time,using a Ti-WO3/Prussian blue device architecture.Remarkably,the complementary ECB shows>10000 stable operation cycles,attesting to the feasibility of our Ti-WO3for practical applications.Our work validates the significance of inhibiting the phase transitions of WO3during the electrochromic process for realizing highly cyclable aqueous ECB,which can possibly provide a generalized design guidance for other high-quality metallic oxides for electrochemical applications.

为解决空间结构节点拓扑优化与3D打印设计制造方法参数化程度低的问题,提出了一套完整的计算机辅助设计(CAD)、计算机辅助工程(CAE)和计算机辅助制造(CAM)工作流,用于空间结构节点智能化拓扑优化设计、数值分析和3D打印制造。首先基于参数化平台Grasshopper建立空间结构节点的参数化一体化拓扑优化CAD程序,自动生成优化节点模型;利用Abaqus/CAE平台对优化节点进行有限元结构分析;通过Fusion 360的CAM模块完成3D打印设计仿真和生成制造文件。结合单层网壳和双层网架结构的节点实例,验证了提出的工作流的适用性。分析结果表明:智能生成的节点较传统形式节点更美观独特且具有轻质高强的特性,在相同受力工况下,优化节点的体积仅为传统空心球节点的40%~60%,其柔度、峰值位移和峰值应力等各项力学性能指标即可优于空心球节点;采用316L不锈钢材料,基于选区激光熔融3D打印工艺可实现该高性能节点的精密制造。

城镇化是现代化的必由之路,中国特色新型城镇化更是中国式现代化建设的重要内容和必然之举。新型城镇化与中国式现代化之间存在着深刻的逻辑关系,工业化是新型城镇化的动力之源、农业现代化是新型城镇化的基础和支撑、信息化是城镇化的实现途径与重要手段。与此同时,新型城镇化在推进过程中面临着人口规模巨大、区域间发展水平差距较大、群体间收入水平差异较大、农村精神文明建设相对落后、生态文明建设存在短板等现实困境。要想更好发挥新型城镇化对中国式现代化建设的推动作用,在突破路径上需要进一步促进城市群与县域城镇化发展,深度推进新型城镇化与城乡融合发展,加强历史文化遗产保护传承,同步建设美丽城市与美丽乡村,完善县域城镇化的体制机制,加快城市现代化转型。

为探究3种卤乙酰胺对萼花臂尾轮虫(Brachionus calyciflorus)存活、种群增长、有性生殖和氧化应激效应的影响,以淡水常见萼花臂尾轮虫为受试生物,开展了不同浓度氯乙酰胺、二氯乙酰胺和溴乙酰胺对轮虫24 h急性致死、2 d种群增长、4 d有性生殖、7 d休眠卵产量以及氧化应激指标影响的研究.结果表明:①3种卤乙酰胺对萼花臂尾轮虫急性毒性呈溴乙酰胺˃氯乙酰胺˃二氯乙酰胺的特征.②20、200μg/L氯乙酰胺和200μg/L溴乙酰胺均显著降低了萼花臂尾轮虫2 d种群增长率.③200μg/L氯乙酰胺提高了轮虫携卵与不携卵雌体数比值和混交率,20μg/L二氯乙酰胺降低了轮虫携卵与不携卵雌体数比值;同时,200μg/L二氯乙酰胺提高了轮虫受精率,20μg/L溴乙酰胺提高了轮虫携卵与不携卵雌体数比值、混交率和受精率.④10、20和200μg/L氯乙酰胺,20和200μg/L二氯乙酰胺以及10、20μg/L溴乙酰胺均显著增加了轮虫7 d休眠卵产量.⑤除200μg/L氯乙酰胺、二氯乙酰胺和溴乙酰胺中过氧化物酶活性下降外,其他浓度处理组中轮虫氧化应激指标值均普遍上升.研究显示,氯乙酰胺、二氯乙酰胺和溴乙酰胺均对萼花臂尾轮虫具有较高的致死毒性,能显著影响轮虫种群增长、有性生殖和氧化应激,并可能影响轮虫种群结构和规模,面临生态风险,7 d休眠卵产量是评价氯乙酰胺、二氯乙酰胺和溴乙酰胺对萼花臂尾轮虫有性生殖影响的合适指标.

高校对学科交叉实验室、校企联合实验室和新工科实验室的实验环境需求持续增长,受资源、规模、投资和时间等方面的限制,现有实验室无法全部满足新建条件,因此需要对既有建筑改扩建。高校实验室的改扩建面临着政策理解模糊、技术投入不足、重视程度不够、管理体系不完善等问题,为解决既有建筑改扩建中的水、电、消防等基础性安全问题,探索并建立了基于高校校内多部门协作的实验室改扩建联合审查工作机制。实践证明,联合审查工作机制可以预先排除实验室改扩建潜在的基础性安全隐患,完善实验室安全管理体系,提升国有资产利用效率。
