All-solid-state Li metal batteries(ASSLBs)using inorganic solid electrolyte(SE)are considered promising alternatives to conventional Li-ion batteries,offering improved safety and boosted energy *** significant progress has been made on improving the ionic conductivity of SEs,the degradation and instability of Li metal/inorganic SE interfaces have become the critical challenges that limit the coulombic efficiency,power performance,and cycling stability of *** the mechanisms of complex/dynamic interfacial phenomena is of great importance in addressing these ***,recent studies on identifying,understanding,and solving interfacial issues on anode side in ASSLBs are comprehensively *** issues at Li metal/SE interface include Li dendrite growth/propagation,SE cracking,physical contact loss,and electrochemical reactions,which lead to high interfacial resistance and cell *** causes of these issues relating to the chemical,physical,and mechanical properties of Li metal and SEs are systematically ***,effective mitigating strategies are summarized and their effects on suppressing interfacial reactions,improving interfacial Li-ion transport,maintaining interfacial contact,and stabilizing Li plating/stripping are *** in-depth mechanistic understanding of interfacial issues and complete investigations on current solutions provide foundations and guidance for future research and development to realize practical application of high-performance ASSLB.

Chemical Modification of Tryptophan Residues in Superoxide Dismutase from Camellia Pollen and Its Fluorescence Spectrum

The amino acid composition of the superoxide dismutase（SOD） from camellia pollen was measured and the tryptophan（Trp） residues were modified by using N-bromosuccinimide（NBS）. The results show that there are 21 Trp residues in an SOD molecule and seven of which are located on the surface of the enzyme. By researching the fluorescence spectra of the native SOD and the modified SOD, we have found that the emission wavelength of Trp is at 335 nm and the fluorescence intensity will decrease when the enzyme is modified. The results also show that potassium iodide（KI） can significantly quench the fluorescence of the native SOD, but it has a less pronounced effect on the modified enzyme. Glycerin as a surface activation reagent can stabilize the fluorescence of the modified enzyme.

An in situ characterization technique called electrochemical noise（ECN） was used to investigate the bioleaching of natural *** experiments were conducted in four active systems（sulfuric acid,ferric-ion,9k culture medium,and bioleaching solutions）.The ECN data were analyzed in both the time and frequency *** noise impedance spectra obtained from power spectral density（PSD）plots for different systems were compared.A reaction mechanism was also proposed on the basis of the experimental data *** bioleaching system exhibits the lowest noise resistance of 0.101 MΩ The bioleaching of natural pyrite is considered to be a bio-battery reaction,which distinguishes it from chemical oxidation reactions in ferric-ion and culture-medium（9k） *** corrosion of pyrite becomes more severe over time after the long-term testing of bioleaching.

Currently approved treatments for hepatitis B virus （HBV） infection include the immunomodulatory agent, IFN-α, and nucleos（t）ide analogues. Their efficacy is limited by their side effects, as well as the induction of viral mutations that render them less potent. It is thus necessary to develop drugs that target additional viral antigens. Chemicals and biomaterials by unique methods of preventing HBV replication are currently being developed, including novel nucleosides and newly synthesized compounds such as capsid assembling and mRNA transcription inhibitors. Molecular therapies that target different stages of the HBV life cycle will aid current methods to manage chronic hepatitis B （CriB） infection. The use of immunomodulators and gene therapy are also under consideration. This report summarizes the most recent treatment possibilities for CHB infection. Emerging therapies and their potential mechanisms, efficacy, and pitfalls are discussed.

Grain boundary(GB)fracture is arguably one of the most important reasons for the catastrophic failure of ductile polycrystalline *** is of interest to explore the role of chemical distribution on GB defor-mation and fracture,as GB segregation becomes a key strategy for tailoring GB *** we report that the inhomogeneous chemical distribution effectively inhibits GB fracture in a model CoCrNi medium entropy alloy compared to a so-called‘average-atom’*** deformation kinematics combined with electronic behavior analysis reveals that the strong charge redistribution ability in chemical disor-dered CrCoNi GBs enhances shear deformation and thus prevents GB crack formation and *** on the GBs with different chemical components and chemical distributions suggest that not only disordered chemical distribution but also sufficient“harmonic elements”with large electronic flexibility contribute to improving the GB fracture *** study provides new insight into the influence mechanism of GB chemistry on fracture behavior,and yields a systematic strategy and criterion,from the atoms and electrons level,forward in the design of high-performance materials with enhanced GB fracture resistance.

In the intricate process of natural product biosynthesis, a metabolon can enhance metabolic flux by associating sequential enzymes. A fungal metabolon, comprising of flavin-dependent monooxygenase Spe F and P450 monooxygenase Spe G, is identified in the biosynthesis of spiro polycyclic alkaloids(+)-notoamide B and its diastereomer(+)-versicolamide B. Using notoamide E as a substance, Spe F/Spe G metabolon can control the stereoselectivity of its 2,3-epoxidation, followed by hydrogen atom ion at C-17 to generate reactive epoxide tau-m A with dienyl iminium unit. Subsequently,(+)-notoamide B and(+)-versicolamide B are produced via tandem nonenzymatic inverse-electron-demand Diels-Alder reaction and semipinacol rearrangement. This provides the first example of metabolon in the biosynthesis of spiro-prenylated indole alkaloids.

The Convention on Biological Diversity and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change are the two most important environmental conventions for biodiversity conservation and climate change *** conventions have carried out a variety of work and established a joint working group to promote *** study reviews the cooperation process between both conventions,and identifies the gaps in the synergistic mechanism by analyzing the status of implementation in *** following problems in China were found to be associated with convention implementation:1)shortage of coordination among implementing organization;2)the existing strategic plans lack planning for synergistic implementation;3)the monitoring system lacks coordination management,thus making the sharing of monitoring results among each unit challenging;and 4)information sharing from partner ministries is *** the status of China's implementation and the experience of other contracting parties,the following strategies are proposed:1)a synergistic implementation mechanism should be established at the national level;2)a national strategic plan should be developed for synergistic implementation;3)a monitoring system and management mechanism should be developed that comprehensively consider the monitoring indicators of each convention;and 4)an implementation information-sharing platform should be built.

The asymmetric neutron stars are investigated in a relativistic effective model with vacuum fluctuations(VF) taken into account. Due to the VF effects, various properties of the neutron matter become ‘softened' comparing to that obtained in the FSUGold model, and the maximum mass of the enpelT neutron stars is reduced from1.71 M to 1:35M.

Sonogashira coupling of two different diketopyrrolopyrrole (DPP)-containing dihaloarenes with the same aromatic bisalkyne resulted in two new conjugated polymers with the same backbone but different pendant groups on the DPP moiety. The polymers were found to have designed chemical structures via structural characterizations in comparison with three monomers. The molecular weight measurement further demonstrated the formation of polymers with polydispersity index around 2, consistent with the polycondensation nature of the polymerization based on Sonogashira coupling. Both polymers could dissolve in many organic solvents, and the one with long alkyl side group on DPP moiety had better solubility. Photophysical investigation showed that both polymers had typical absorption/emission of conjugated polymers, and varying the solvent did not have large influence. Compared with other polar solvents, toluene reduced the quantum yield of fluorescence of the polymers, especially for the one with long alkyl pedant group, accompanying with slight red-shift in absorption/emission. The difference in the absorption/emission wavelengths between the polymers was similar to that between the corresponding monomers. Adding water into the THF solution of polymers reduced the emission intensity but no redshift was observed. Discussion about the structure-property relationships was carried out in detail.
