Obesity is a critical health issue *** a long time,the concept of drinking tea for health and pleasure is widely *** strain of Andraca theae lives on the tea leaf and the bioactivity of its metabolites in the feces is unknown ***,the objective of this study was to investigate whether the extract of tea(Taiwan Tea Experiment Station No.12(TE))and its metabolites from Andraca theae(TME)could prevent obesity in the high fat diet-induced obese *** results showed that TE had higher concentrations of epigallocatechin gallate(EGCG)and caffeine than that from *** significantly decreased abdominal adipose tissue,especially epididymal fat via increasing preadipocyte factor 1(Pref-1),SRY(sex determining region Y)-box 9(SOX-9)and decreasing peroxisome proliferator-activated receptorγ(PPARγ),CCAAT/enhancer binding protein(C/EBP)β,C/EBPαand C/EBPβprotein *** together,these results suggest that the content of tea polyphenols in TE play an important role for alleviating abdominal fat.

Beta-phase gallium oxide(β-Ga_2O_3) Schottky barrier diodes were fabricated on highly doped single-crystal substrates,where their temperature-dependent electrical properties were comprehensively investigated by forward and reverse current density – voltage and capacitance – voltage characterization. Both the Schottky barrier height and the ideality factor showed a temperature-dependence behavior, revealing the inhomogeneous nature of the Schottky barrier interface caused by the interfacial defects. With a voltage-dependent Schottky barrier incorporated into thermionic emission theory, the inhomogeneous barrier model can be further examined. Furthermore, the reverse leakage current was found to be dominated by the bulk leakage currents due to the good material and surface quality. Leakage current per distance was also obtained. These results can serve as important references for designing efficient β-Ga_2O_3 electronic and optoelectronic devices on highly doped substrates or epitaxial layers.

＂Without an appropriate research setting, a study cannot be qualified as a reasonable piece＂, this notion is manifested in the methodological polices. in this research, we attempt to examine previous studies within the scope of technology evolution and market perception in telecommunication industry through extracting research structures, methodologies, corresponding variables, and processing methods. A general process of social scientific research is adopted to analyze eighty-four selected papers; and simultaneously, the framework for doing this analysis is established, as well. in this manner, we inspect the subjects and the issues in these papers according to product types, academic domains, and divisions of technological evolution （from 1G to 4G）. Then, their research designs are anatomized into the key dimensions of general research conventions. This research eventually provides an entire picture of a research scenario for mobile telecommunication industry; and apparently, this framewbrk can help scholars to establish specific tendencies for academic scenarios in future research plans. Also, we propose the main streams and emerging issues can be expected to engage in the future within both theacademic and the operational fields.

BACKGROUND Subarachnoid-pleural fistula(SPF)is a complex and rare condition characterized by a pathological shunt between the subarachnoid and pleural *** can lead to the accumulation of cerebrospinal fluid(CSF)in the pleural space,pneumocephalus,and the development of central nervous system *** or thoracic spinal surgery are common causes of SPF,with symptoms including postural headache,consciousness status changes,and *** combination of SPF and subdural hygroma is a severe and rare condition,with little existing literature on its clinical *** SUMMARY We report a case of an 83-year-old male patient with traumatic SPF and bilateral frontal subdural hygroma following a fall from *** patient initially presented with severe lower back and buttock *** admission,the patient developed worsening lower limb weakness and pleural *** investigation revealed the presence of subdural hygromas with mass effect,requiring emergency bilateral subdural drainage.A multidisciplinary approach was undertaken to manage this complex condition,including intervention for hypovolemic CSF status and subdural hygroma *** pleural effusion eventually resolved and the patient attained a higher level of con-sciousness after bilateral hygroma drainage *** also reviewed the present literature relating to this rare combination of medical *** Traumatic SPF with subsequent subdural hygroma is a rare but serious *** the optimal treatment strategy for this complex condition remains uncertain,our literature review suggested that a multidisciplinary approach,including intervention for hypovolemic CSF and management of the subdural hygroma,is the most beneficial.
