Purpose-The deep learning-based recommender framework(DLRF)is based on an improved long short-term memory(LSTM)structurewith additional controllers;thus,it considers contextual information for state *** also handles irregularities in the data to enhance performance in generating recommendations while modelling short-term *** algorithm named a multi-preference integrated algorithm(MPIA)is proposed to have dynamic integration of both kinds of user preferences *** experiments are made using Amazon benchmark datasets,and the results are compared with many existing recommender systems(RSs).Design/methodology/approach-RSs produce quality information filtering to the users based on their *** the contemporary era,online RSs-based collaborative filtering(CF)techniques are widely used to model long-term preferences of *** deep learning models,such as recurrent neural networks(RNNs),it became viable to model short-term preferences of *** the existing RSs,there is a lack of dynamic integration of both long-and short-term *** this paper,the authors proposed a DLRF for improving the state of the art in modelling short-term preferences and generating recommendations as ***-The results of the empirical study revealed that the MPIA outperforms existing algorithms in terms of performance measured using metrics such as area under the curve(AUC)and *** percentage of improvement in terms AUC is observed as 1.3,2.8,3 and 1.9%and in terms of F-1 score 0.98,2.91,2 and 2.01%on the ***/value-The algorithm uses attention-based approaches to integrate the preferences by incorporating contextual information.

High strength-to-weight ratio of non-ferrous alloys, such as aluminium, magnesium and titanium alloys, are considered to be possible replacement of widely accepted steels in transportation and automobile sectors. Among these alloys, magnesium is self explosive and titanium is costlier, and aluminium is most likely to replace steels. Application of aluminium or its alloys is also thought of as an appropriate replacement in defence field, especially to enhance the easiness in mobility of combat vehicles while maintaining the same standard as that of conventional armour grade steels. Hence most of the investigations have been confined to aluminium or its alloys as base material and open an era of developing the newer composite materials to address the major limitation, i.e. tribological properties. The surface composites can be fabricated by incorporating the ceramic carbides like silicon carbide, carbides of transition metals and oxides of aluminium using surface modification techniques, such as high energy laser melt treatment, high energy electron beam irradiation and thermal spray process which are based on fusion route. These techniques yield the fusion related problems, such as interfacial reaction, pin holes, shrinkage cavities or voids and other casting related defects, and pave the way to need of an efficient technique which must be based on solid state. Recently developed friction stir processing technique was used in the present investigation for surface modification of AA7075 aluminum alloy, which is an alternative to steels. In the present investigation, 160 μm sized boron carbide powder was procured and was reduced to 60 μm and 30 μm using high energy ball mill. The present paper reports the results of experimental investigations on the effect of diffuser vane shape on the performance of a centrifugal compressor stage. These studies were conducted on the chosen stage having a back- ward curved impeller of 500 turn tip diameter and 24.5 mm width and its design flow coefficient is Фd=0.0535. Three different low solidity diffuser vane shapes namely uncarnbered aerofoil, constant thickness flat plate and circular arc cambered constant thickness plate were chosen as the variants for diffuser vane shape and all the three shapes have the same thickness to chord ratio （t/c=0.1）. Flow coefficient, polytropic efficiency, total head coeffi- cient, power coefficient and static pressure recovery coefficient were chosen as the parameters for evaluating the effect of diffuser vane shape on the stage performance. The results show that there is reasonable improvement in stage efficiency and total head coefficient with the use of the chosen diffuser vane shapes as compared to conven- tional vaneless diffuser. It is also noticed that the aero foil shaped LSD has shown better performance when com- pared to flat plate and circular arc profiles. The aerofoil vane shape of the diffuser blade is seen to be tolerant over a considerable range of incidence.

In this communication,the electrical conductivities and thermal expansion studies of microwave sintered co-doped ceria Ce_(0.8)Y_(0.2-x)Dy_(x)O_(2-δ)(x=0,0.05,0.10,0.15 and 0.20) solid electrolyte materials for intermediate temperature solid oxide fuel cells(IT-SOFCs)synthesized by sol-gel auto-combustion method were *** sintering at 1300℃ for 30 min was used for making dense powder *** relative densities of all the samples are noticed above 95%.Raman spectrum was characterized by the presence of a very strong band near 460 cm^(-1),which along with X-ray diffraction(XRD) analysis ascertain the sample formation with a single-phase cubic fluorite *** lattice parameter values were calculated from XRD *** images show nearly uniform grains with distinct grain *** thermal expansion coefficients(TECs) are found to vary linearly with temperature and were measured in the range from 14.15 to 13.20×10^(-6)℃^(-1).The investigation on total ionic conductivity(TIC) was executed with variation in dopant concentration and relative oxygen *** impedance analysis reveals that the sample Ce_(0.80)Y_(0.10)Dy_(0.10)O_(2-δ) displays the highest TIC,i.e.,7.5×10^(-3) S·cm^(-1) at 500℃ and minimum activation energy 0.90 eV compared to *** the highest TIC and minimum activation energy,the Ce_(0.80)Y_(0.10)Dy_(0.10)O_(2-δ)might be the possible material as the solid electrolyte in intermediate temperature SOFCs.

This paper describes an analysis of the plants of Sambalpur district of Orissa,India which have been used medicinally by local people. The families having medicinal values are analysed using Moerman's method of regression analysis. There were 136 plant families recorded from the study area. The analysis of families showed that the Euphorbiaceae family being used most ethnomedicinally by the local people in Sambalpur district of Orissa,whereas Poaceae is used least one. This type of study determines the degree of importance of plant families in the medicinal flora of the region.

Structure and floristic composition of tree stand in tropical forest in the Eastern Ghats of northern Andhra Pradesh, India

The changes in species composition, abundance and forest stand structure were analyzed across altitudinal regimes in tropical forests of Eastern Ghats of northern Andhra Pradesh, India. Three 1-ha plots were established with one each in low, medium and high altitudes. A total of 153 species, 2129 stems （709 stems .ha^-1） of ≥10 cm girth were enumerated. Species richness and diversity pattern varied along altitudinal gradient and increased with the altitude. Species richness varied from 52 to 110 species-ha^-1 and stand density from 639 to 836 ***^-1 with average basal area of 34.39 m^***^-1. Shannon-Wiener index （H＇） ranged from 4.55 to 5.17. Low altitude （i.e., Site 1） is dominated byXylia xylocarpa （59.22） and Lagerstroemia parviflora （23.90）, medium altitude （i.e., Site 2） by Xylia xylocarpa （45;50） Bursera serrata （17.29）, and high altitude （i.e., Site 3） has Schleichera oleosa （28.25） Pterocarpus marsupium （26.55） as predominant species. Taxonomically, Rubiaceae （12 species）, Fabaceae （12）, Euphorbiaceae （11）, Rutaceae （7） and Lanraceae （7） were dominant families. Density-wise, Fabaceae, Combretaceae, Euphorbiaceae, Anacardiaceae and Myrtaceae were abundant. Thus, conservation assessment based on altitudinal regimes and the information on species structure and function can provide baseline information for monitoring and sustaining the biodiversity.

In this paper,a simple and cheap method to prepare porous ZnO by using zinc nitrate,ethanol and triethanolamine(TEA)is *** as-prepared sample consisted of nano and micro *** sample was calcined at 300℃,400℃and 500℃with different heating *** 500℃,the nano pores disappeared but the sample maintained its micro *** emission scanning electron microscopy(FE-SEM)pictures confirmed that the size and growth of ZnO nanoparticles depended on the heating *** infrared(IR)absorption peak of Zn-O stretching vibration positioned at 457 cm^(-1)was split into two peaks centered at 518 cm^(-1)and 682 cm^(-1)with the change of *** results confirmed that Fourier transform infrared(FT-IR)spectrum was sensitive to variations in particle size,shape and *** photoluminescence(PL)spectrum of porous ZnO contained five emission peaks at 397 nm,437 nm,466 nm,492 nm and 527 *** intensity enhanced monotonously with increase of temperature and the change was rapid between temperatures of 300℃and 500℃.This was due to the elimination of organic species and improvement in the crystallanity of the sample at 500℃.
