One-dimensionally nanostructured materials, such as nanowires and nanotubes, are the smallest dimensional structures for efficient transport of electrons and excitons, and are therefore critical building blocks for nanoscale electronic and mechanical devices. In this paper, boron nanowires with uniform diameters from 2. to 80 nm were synthesized by radio-frequency magnetron sputtering of pure boron powder and B2.3 powder mixtures in argon atmosphere. The boron nanowires produced stand vertically on the substrate surface to form well-ordered arrays over large areas with self- organized arrangements without involvement of any template and patterned catalyst. The high-density boron nanowires are parallel to each other and well distributed, forming highly ordered and uniform arrays. A more interesting and unique feature of the boron nanowires is that most of their tips are flat rather than hemispherical in morphologies. Detailed studies on its structure and composition indicate that boron nanowires are amorphous. Boron nanowire appears as a new member in the family of one-dimensional nanostructures. Considering the unique properties of boron-rich solids and other nanostructures, it is reasonable to expect that the boron nanowires will display some exceptional and interesting properties. A vapor-cluster-solid (VCS) mechanism was proposed to explain the growth of boron nanowires based on our experimental observations.

The neutron total cross section data of^(9)Be are essential in the nuclear structure model research of light nuclei and nuclear power *** neutron total cross section of^(9)Be in the 0.3 eV−12. MeV energy region has been measured using time-of-flight and transmission methods with the Neutron Total Cross Sectional Spectrometer(NTOX)based on the multi-cell fast fission chamber at the china Spallation Neutron Source(CSNS)-Back-n white neutron source(Back-n).The fission count-neutron energy distributions of ^(2.5)U and ^(2.8)U without samples and with Be samples with three thicknesses were measured in the double-bunch operation mode for a beam power of 100 *** Bayesian method was used to eliminate the influence of the double-bunch problem on neutron measurement in the energy region above 10 *** neutron total cross section of^(9)Be results was consistent with ENDF/B-VIII.0 evaluation library data in the 0.3 eV−2. MeV energy *** the energy ranges of 0.3 eV to 10 keV and 0.01 to 2. MeV,the deviations between our results and the evaluation results of ENDF/B-VIII.0 were within 2.5%and 15%,*** the resonance energy region,the measured resonance energies in our experiment were 0.63,0.82.and 2.8 MeV,*** results showed that the total cross section uncertainties of three Be samples were within 2.2.in the energy region below 1 *** total cross section uncertainty of 30 mm Be from ^(2.5)U was the smallest and less than 5%in the energy region of 0.3 eV−12. *** results of this experiment can provide technical support for further data analysis and related nuclear data evaluation.

Na_(2.Li_(2.Ti_(6)O_(14) as a reliable anode material is becoming a hopeful candidate for Li-ion ***,the pristine Na_(2.Li_(2.Ti_(6)O_(14) usually suffer from bad rate performance and poor cycling stability under high current due to limited diffusion kinetics and poor electrical ***,the PPy-coated Na_(2.Li_(2.Ti_(6)O_(14) composites are successfully obtained via the solid-state method and followed by chemical oxidation process in the first *** results of tests prove that the Na_(2.Li_(2.Ti_(6)O_(14)@PPy composites have better electrochemical performance than the bare Na_(2.Li_(2.Ti_(6)O_(14) because of the excellent electrical conductivity and the special macromolecular architecture of *** particular,the Na_(2. Ti_(6) O_(14) @PPy(4 wt%)exhibits excellent charge capacities of about 2.3.2.2.8.0,2.0.8,184.3 and 172.6 mAh g^(-1) at 50,100,2.0,300 and500 mA g^(-1),respectively,revealing the best rate capability of all electrode *** Na_(2.Li_(2.Ti_(6)O_(14)@PPy(4 wt%)not only has the highest charge capacity under 0.5 mA g^(-1),but also has the highest capacity retention of 85.12.among all samples after 100 ***,the PPy coating is known as a promising way to improve the electrochemical property of Na_(2.Li_(2.Ti_(6)O_(14).The PPy-coated Na_(2.Li_(2.Ti_(6)O_(14) demonstrates the great prospect as promising negative materials for Li-ion batteries.

We investigated the effect of Al2.3 content on the viscosity of cao-SiO2.Al2.3-8wt%MgO-1wt%Cr2.3(mass ratio of cao/SiO2.is 1.0,and Al2.3 content is 17wt%-2.wt%)*** results show that the viscosity of the slag increases gradually with increases in the Al2.3 content in the range of 17wt%to 2.wt%due to the role of Al2.3 as a network former in the polymerization of the aluminosilicate structure of the *** increases in the Al2.3 content from 17wt%to 2.wt%,the apparent activation energy of the slags also increases from 180.85 to 2.0.2. kJ/mol,which is consistent with the variation in the critical *** Fourier-transform infrared spectra indicate that the degree of polymerization of this slag is increased by the addition of *** application of Iida’s model for predicting the slag viscosity in the presence of Cr2.3 indicates that the calculated viscosity values fit well with the measured values when both the temperature and Al2.3 content are at relatively low levels,i.e.,the temperature range of 1673 to 1803 K and the Al2.3 content range of 17wt%-2.wt%in cao-SiO2.Al2.3-8wt%MgO-1wt%Cr2.3 slag.

We present a sample of 48 metal-poor galaxies at z 〈 0.14 selected from 92.510 galaxies in the LAMOST survey. These galaxies are identified by their detection of the auroral emission line[OⅢ]λ4363 above the 3σ level, which allows a direct measurement of electron temperature and oxygen abundance. The emission line fluxes are corrected for internal dust extinction using the Balmer decrement method. With electron temperature derived from [OⅢ]λλ4959, 5007/[OⅢ]λ4363 and electron density from [SⅡ]λ6731/[SⅡ]λ6717, we obtain the oxygen abundances in our sample which range from 12.＋ log（O/H） = 7.63（0.09 Z_⊙） to 8.46（0.6 Z_⊙）. We find an extremely metal-poor galaxy with 12.＋ log（O/H） = 7.63 ± 0.01. With multiband photometric data from FUV to NIR and Hαmeasurements, we also determine the stellar masses and star formation rates, based on the spectral energy distribution fitting and Hα luminosity, respectively. We find that our galaxies have low and intermediate stellar masses with 6.39 ≤ log（M/M_⊙） ≤ 9.2., and high star formation rates（SFRs） with-2.1. ≤ log（SFR/M_⊙yr^（-1）） ≤ 1.95. We also find that the metallicities of our galaxies are consistent with the local T_e-based mass-metallicity relation, while the scatter is about 0.2. dex. Additionally,assuming the coefficient of α = 0.66, we find most of our galaxies follow the local mass-metallicity-SFR relation, but a scatter of about 0.2. dex exists, suggesting the mass-metallicity relation is weakly dependent on SFR for those metal-poor galaxies.
