High performance and stable pure-blue quasi-2D perovskite light-emitting diodes by multifunctional zwitterionic passivation engineering

Despite the rapid advances of red and green perovskite light-emitting diodes（Pe LEDs）, achieving high brightness with high external quantum efficiency（EQE） remains a challenge for the pure-blue Pe LEDs,which greatly hinders their practical applications, such as white-light illumination and in optical communication as a high-speed and low-loss light source. Herein, we report a high-performance pure-blue Pe LED based on mixed-halide quasi-2D perovskites incorporated with a zwitterionic molecule of 3-（benzyldimethylammonio）propanesulfonate（3-BAS）. Experimental and density functional theory analysis reveals that 3-BAS can simultaneously eliminate non-radiative recombination loss, suppress halide migration, and regulate phase distribution for smoothing energy transfer in the mixed-halide quasi-2D perovskites, leading to the final perovskites with high photoluminescence quantum yield and robust spectrum stability. Thus, the highperformance pure-blue Pe LED with a recorded brightness with 1806 cd m;-2;and a relative higher EQE of 9.25% is achieved, which is successfully demonstrated in a visible light communication system for voice signal transmission. We pave the way for achieving highly efficient pure-blue Pe LEDs with great application potential in future optical communication networks.

Relationship between the expression of Toll-like receptor 2 and 4 in mononuclear cells and postoperative acute lung injury in orthotopic liver transplantation

Background The aim of this study was to investigate the potential relationship between the dynamic expression of Toll-like receptor 2 and 4 （TLR2/4） in peripheral blood mononuclear cells as well as changes in serum concentration of inflammatory factors and acute lung injury （ALl） in patients after orthotopic liver transplantation （OLT）. Methods The peripheral blood samples of 27 patients （23 men and 4 women with ASA Ⅲ to Ⅳ） who received OLT were collected for measurement of TLR2/4 at T1 （after induction of anesthesia）, T2 （25 minutes after anhepatic phase）, T3 （3 hours after graft reperfusion） and T4 （24 hours after graft reperfusion）. The expression of TLR2/4 in mononuclear cells was measured by flow cytometry. The serum concentrations of tumor necrosis factor （TNF）-α, interleukin （IL）-1β and IL-8 were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay （ELISA）. Twenty-seven patients were assigned to ALl group （n=-9） and non-ALl group （n=-18） according to the diagnostic criteria of ALl. The expression of TLR2/4 in the ALl group or non-ALl group was analyzed. Results Compared to the non-ALl group, the volumes of blood loss, ascites, total output and transfused red blood cells were higher in the ALl group, and the anhepatic phase lasted longer （P 〈0.05, P 〈0.01）. The expression of TLR2/4 in mononuclear cells increased significantly at T3 and T4, and serum concentrations of TNF-α, IL-1β and IL-8 increased significantly too. There was no significant difference in Child-Turcotte-Pugh （CTP） scores between the ALl group and non-ALl group （P 〉0.05）. The expression of TLR2/4 in mononuclear cells increased significantly at T3 and T4 in the ALl group （P 〈0.05, P〈0.01）. A positive correlation was noted between the expression of TLR4 in mononuclear cells and the serum concentrations of TNF-α, IL-1β （P=0.041, P=0.046） in the ALl group. Electrocatalytic oxygen reduction(ORR)via the 2e−pathway to form H_(2)O_(2) in acidic medium has attracted extensive ***,the low activity,insufficient selectivity and high cost of catalysts have been the ***,CoSe_(2) with abundant Se deficiency was synthesized by a simple hydrothermal method,and the addition of NaBH4-induced CoSe_(2) phase transition from orthorhombic to cubic phase with more Se *** cubic phase CoSe_(2) with abundant Se deficiency can effectively regulate the surface electronic structure with suitable binding energies of*OOH and*O,which shows high activity,selectivity and long-term stability for acidic ORR to H_(2)O_(2).The onset potential is as low as 0.73 V *** hydrogen electrode(RHE),the H_(2)O_(2) selectivity is 84%(0 V ***),and the average electron transfer number is about ***,the H_(2)O_(2) yield measured using a flow cell is as high as 115.92 mmol·gcat.^(−1)·h^(−1) and the Faradaic efficiency is 70%at 0 V ***,which presents high potential in electrocatalytic acidic ORR to H_(2)O_(2) and organic pollutant degradation using the electron-Fenton process.

The xylem undergoes physiological changes in response to various environmental conditions during the process of plant *** understand these physiological changes,it is extremely important to observe the transport of *** this study,the distribution and structure of vascular bundle in Lilium lancifolium were observed using the method of semithin *** for introducing a fluorescent tracer into the xylem of the stems were ***,the transport rule of 5(6)-Carboxyfluorescein diacetate(CFDA)in the xylem of the stem of *** was studied by fluorescence dye in live cells tracer *** results showed that the vascular bundles of *** were scattered in the basic tissue,the peripheral vascular bundles were smaller and densely distributed,and the closer to the center,the larger the volume of vascular bundles and the more sparsely *** vascular bundles of *** are limited external tenacity vascular bundles,which are composed of phloem and *** most suitable method for CFDA labeling the xylem of isolated stem segments of *** was solution soaking for 24 *** running speed of CF in the isolated stem was 0.3 cm/h,which was consistent with the running speed of the material in the *** could be transported between the xylem and parenchyma cells,indicating that the material transport in the xylem could be through the symplastic *** above results laid a foundation for the study of the xylem transport mechanism and the xylem pathogen disease of lily.

Quantitative characterizations of anisotropic dynamic properties in organic-rich shale with different kerogen content

Understanding the quantitative responses of anisotropic dynamic properties in organic-rich shale with different kerogen content(KC)is of great significance in hydrocarbon exploration and *** controlled experiments with a single variable is challenging for natural shales due to their high variations in components,diagenesis conditions,or pore *** employed the hot-pressing technique to construct 11 well-controlled artificial shale with varying *** artificial shale samples were successive machined into prismatic shape for ultrasonic measurements along different *** revealed bedding perpendicular P-wave velocities are more sensitive to the increasing KC than bedding paralleling velocities due to the preferential alignments of *** elastic stiffnesses except C_(13)are generally decreasing with the increasing KC,the variation of C_(1) and C_(33)on kerogen content are more sensitive than those of C_(44)and C_(66).Apparent dynamic mechanical parameters(v and E)were found to have linear correlation with the true ones from complete anisotropic equations independent of KC,which hold value towards the interpretation of well logs consistently across formations,Anisotropic mechanical parameters(ΔE and brittlenessΔB)tend to decrease with the reducing KC,withΔB showing great sensitivity to KC *** the range of low KC(10%)shale,compilation of data from natural organic rich-shales globally verified the similar systematic relationships that can be empirically used to predict the fraction of KC in shales.

Background:Arterial stiffening increases with age and blood pressure and is associated with cardiovascular disease(CVD),but the relationship between blood pressure lowering and arterial stiffening is still uncertain,especially in older *** study aimed to evaluate the effect of intensive blood pressure treatment on the progression of arterial stiffness and risk of CVD in older patients with ***:The Strategy of Blood Pressure Intervention in the Elderly Hypertensive Patients(STEP)trial was a multicenter,randomized,controlled trial performed at 42 clinical centers throughout China,and 8511 patients aged 60-80 years with essential hypertension were enrolled and randomly assigned to systolic blood pressure(SBP)target of 110 mmHg to<130 mmHg(intensive treatment)or 130 mmHg to<150 mmHg(standard treatment).Patients underwent repeated examinations of the brachial-ankle pulse wave velocity(baPWV)and ankle-brachial index(ABI)at baseline,and the arterial stiffness was evaluated at the 3-year follow-up.A total of 5339 patients who had twice repeated measurements were included in this *** in arterial stiffness between the intensive and standard treatment groups were analyzed using a multivariate linear regression *** Cox proportional hazard regression model was used to evaluate the effect of intensive treatment on primary CVD ***:The changes in baPWV were 61.5 cm/s(95%confidence interval[CI]:49.8-73.2 cm/s)in the intensive treatment group and 98.4 cm/s(95%CI:86.7-110.1 cm/s)in the standard treatment group(P<0.001).Intensive treatment significantly delayed the progression of arterial stiffness,with an annual change of 23.1 cm·s^(-1)·year-1 vs.36.7 cm·s^(-1)·year^(-1)of baPWV in the intensive and standard treatment groups,*** a median follow-up period of 3.36 years,primary CVD outcomes occurred in 77(2.9%)patients in the intensive treatment group compared with 93(3.5%)in the standard treatment *** tre

Differences and identification on multi-time hydrocarbon generation of carboniferous-permian coaly source rocks in the Huanghua Depression,Bohai Bay Basin

Coal is a solid combustible mineral,and coal-bearing strata have important hydrocarbon generation potential and contribute to more than 12%of the global hydrocarbon ***,the deposition and hydrocarbon evolution process of ancient coal-bearing strata is characterized by multiple geological times,leading to obvious distinctions in their hydrocarbon generation potential,geological processes,and production,which affect the evaluation and exploration of hydrocarbon resources derived from coaly source rocks *** study aimed to identify the differences on oil-generated parent macerals and the production of oil generated from different coaly source rocks and through different oil generation *** with the analysis of previous tectonic burial history and hydrocarbon generation history,high-temperature and high-pressure thermal simulation experiments,organic geochemistry,and organic petrology were performed on the Carboniferous-Permian(C-P)coaly source rocks in the Huanghua Depression,Bohai Bay *** oil-generated parent macerals of coal's secondary oil generation process(SOGP)were mainly hydrogen-rich collotelinite,collodetrinite,sporinite,and cutinite,while the oil-generated parent macerals of tertiary oil generation process(TOGP)were the remaining small amount of hydrogen-rich collotelinite,sporinite,and cutinite,as well as dispersed soluble organic matter and unexhausted residual *** with coal,the oil-generated parent macerals of coaly shale SOGP were mostly sporinite and *** part of hydrogen-poor vitrinite,lacking hydrocarbon-rich macerals,and macerals of the TOGP,in addition to some remaining cutinite and a small amount of crude oil and bitumen from SOGP contributed to the oil *** results indicated that the changes in oil yield had a good junction between SOGP and TOGP,both coal and coaly shale had higher SOGP aborted oil yield than TOGP starting yield,and coaly shale TOGP peak oil yield was low
