Plasmon-induced local electric field improved hydrogen evolution reaction on Ag/Mo_(2)c nanosheets

Electrocatalytic water splitting offers a promising way for hydrogen production with near-zero ***,such as molybdenum carbides(Mo_(2)c),are promising materials for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)but still suffer from poor intrinsic water activation ***,we developed a plasmon-induced local electric field(PILEF)strategy to solve this ***(Ag)nanoparticles decorated Mo_(2)c nanosheets(Ag/Mo_(2)c)were successfully prepared by electrostatic *** visible light excited the PILEF on Ag/Mo_(2)c remarkably reducing the activation energy by 92.7 kJ·mol^(-1)from 147.3 kJ·mol^(-1)of Mo_(2)c to 54.6 kJ·mol^(-1).As a result,the plasmonic Ag/Mo_(2)c significantly enhances~2.3-fold of the current density from 2.8 mA·cm^(-2)of Mo_(2)c to 6.5 mA·cm^(-2)at-3 V *** and reduces the overpotential by 104 mV from 403 mV of dark state to 299 mV of light state at the current density of 10 mA·cm^(-2),achieving better performance than reported *** research demonstrates that PILEF enhances HER activities,offering a potential strategy for boosting the intrinsic activities of catalysts.

Lowering the synthesis temperature of boron nitride nanotubes(bNNTs)is crucial for their *** primary reason for adopting a high temperature is to enable the effective activation of highmelting-point solid *** this study,we developed a novel approach for efficiently activating boron by introducing alkali metal compounds into the conventional MgO–b *** approach can be adopted to form various low-melting-point AM–Mg–b–O growth *** growth systems have improved catalytic capability and reactivity even under low-temperature conditions,facilitating the synthesis of bNNTs at temperatures as low as 850℃.In addition,molecular dynamics simulations based on density functional theory theoretically demonstrate that the systems maintain a liquid state at low temperatures and interact with N atoms to form bN *** findings offer novel insights into the design of boron activation and are expected to facilitate research on the low-temperature synthesis of bNNTs.

The development of ultrastrong maraging stainless steels(MSSs)is always in high ***,traditional high-strength MSSs generally exhibit early plastic instability with a low uniform strain since the precipitated nanoparticles are non-coherent with the body-centered-cubic(bcc)lath martensitic ***,we design a novel ultrahigh strength MSS(Fe-5.30 cr-13.47 Ni-3.10 Al-1.22 Mo-0.50 W-0.23 Nb-0.03 c-0.005 b,wt.%)using a cluster formula approach.A fabulous microstructure consisting of a uniform distribution of high-density coherent b2-Ni Al nanoprecipitates(3-5 nm)in bcc martensitic matrix was successfully *** alloy has not only an exceedingly high ultimate tensile strength of 2.0 GPa,but also a decent uniform elongation of 4.2%-5.1%,which is almost triple of the value observed in existing *** present an in-depth discussion on the origins of ultrahigh strength and uniform plastic strain in the new alloy to validate our design strategy and further offer a new pathway to exploit highperformance MSSs.

Due to the lack of accurate data and complex parameterization,the prediction of groundwater depth is a chal-lenge for numerical *** learning can effectively solve this issue and has been proven useful in the prediction of groundwater depth in many *** this study,two new models are applied to the prediction of groundwater depth in the Ningxia area,*** two models combine the improved dung beetle optimizer(DbO)algorithm with two deep learning models:The Multi-head Attention-convolution Neural Network-Long Short Term Memory networks(MH-cNN-LSTM)and the Multi-head Attention-convolution Neural Network-Gated Recurrent Unit(MH-cNN-GRU).The models with DbO show better prediction performance,with larger R(correlation coefficient),RPD(residual prediction deviation),and lower RMSE(root-mean-square error).com-pared with the models with the original DbO,the R and RPD of models with the improved DbO increase by over 1.5%,and the RMSE decreases by over 1.8%,indicating better prediction *** addition,compared with the multiple linear regression model,a traditional statistical model,deep learning models have better prediction performance.

Anion-exchange membrane water electrolyzers(AEMWEs)for green hydrogen production have received intensive attention due to their feasibility of using earth-abundant NiFe-based *** introducing a third metal into NiFe-based catalysts to construct asymmetrical M-NiFe units,the d-orbital and electronic structures can be adjusted,which is an important strategy to achieve sufficient oxygen evolution reaction(OER)performance in ***,the ternary NiFeM(M:La,Mo)catalysts featured with distinct M-NiFe units and varying d-orbitals are reported in this *** and theoretical calculation results reveal that the doping of La leads to optimized hybridization between d orbital in NiFeM and 2p in oxygen,resulting in enhanced adsorption strength of oxygen intermediates,and reduced rate-determining step energy barrier,which is responsible for the enhanced OER *** critically,the obtained NiFeLa catalyst only requires 1.58 V to reach 1 A cm^(−2) in an anion exchange membrane electrolyzer and demonstrates excellent long-term stability of up to 600 h.

Nowadays,force sensors play an important role in industrial production,electronic information,medical health,and many other ***-dimensional material-based filed effect transistor(2D-FET)sensors are competitive with nano-level size,lower power consumption,and accurate ***,few of them has the capability of impulse detection which is a path function,expressing the cumulative effect of the force on the particle over a period of *** we fabricated the flexible polymethyl methacrylate(PMMA)gate dielectric MoS_(2)-FET for force and impulse sensor *** systematically investigated the responses of the sensor to constant force and varying forces,and achieved the conversion factors of the drain current signals(I_(ds))to the detected impulse(I).The applied force was detected and recorded by I_(ds)with a low power consumption of~30 *** sensitivity of the device can reach~8000%and the 4×1 sensor array is able to detect and locate the normal force applied on ***,there was almost no performance loss for the device as left in the air for two months.

Subretinal fibrosis is the end-stage sequelae of neovascular age-related macular *** causes local damage to photoreceptors,retinal pigment epithelium,and choroidal vessels,which leads to permanent central vision loss of patients with neovascular age-related macular *** pathogenesis of subretinal fibrosis is complex,and the underlying mechanisms are largely ***,there are no effective treatment options.A thorough understanding of the pathogenesis of subretinal fibrosis and its related mechanisms is important to elucidate its complications and explore potential *** current article reviews several aspects of subretinal fibrosis,including the current understanding on the relationship between neovascular age-related macular degeneration and subretinal fibrosis;multimodal imaging techniques for subretinal fibrosis;animal models for studying subretinal fibrosis;cellular and non-cellular constituents of subretinal fibrosis;pathophysiological mechanisms involved in subretinal fibrosis,such as aging,infiltration of macrophages,different sources of mesenchymal transition to myofibroblast,and activation of complement system and immune cells;and several key molecules and signaling pathways participating in the pathogenesis of subretinal fibrosis,such as vascular endothelial growth factor,connective tissue growth factor,fibroblast growth factor 2,platelet-derived growth factor and platelet-derived growth factor receptor-β,transforming growth factor-βsignaling pathway,Wnt signaling pathway,and the axis of heat shock protein 70-Toll-like receptors 2/*** review will improve the understanding of the pathogenesis of subretinal fibrosis,allow the discovery of molecular targets,and explore potential treatments for the management of subretinal fibrosis.

Successful emergency surgical intervention in acute non-STsegment elevation myocardial infarction with rupture:A case report

bAcKGROUND The incidence of acute myocardial infarction(AMI)is rising,with cardiac rupture accounting for approximately 2%of deaths in patients with acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction(STEMI).Ventricular free wall rupture(FWR)occurs in approximately 2%of AMI patients and is notably rare in patients with *** of cardiac rupture include left ventricular FWR,ventricular septal rupture,and papillary muscle *** FWR usually leads to acute cardiac tamponade or electromechanical dissociation,where standard resuscitation efforts may not be *** septal rupture and papillary muscle rupture often result in refractory heart failure,with mortality rates over 50%,even with surgical or percutaneous repair *** SUMMARY We present a rare case of an acute non-STEMI patient who suffered sudden FWR causing cardiac tamponade and loss of consciousness immediate before undergoing coronary *** resuscitation and emergency open-heart repair along with coronary artery bypass grafting resulted in successful patient *** This case emphasizes the risks of AMI complications,shares a successful treatment scenario,and discusses measures to prevent such complications.

cOMPOSITION TRIANGLE DIAGRAMS OF Ni-Mn-Ga MAGNETIc SHAPE MEMORY ALLOYS

A statistical work has been done to collect the composition ranges of Ni-Mn-Ga alloys exhibiting different structures and martensite start temperature （M,）, large magnetostrain or the co-existence of magnetic and structural transitions. The alloys with five-layered （5M）, seven-layered （7M） modulated and non-modulated （T） martensitic structures were mapped in the graph. An empirical formula has been presented to reflect the effect of elements nickel （Ni ）, manganese （ Mn ） and gallium （Ga）, on the martensite start temperature （M3）. The martensitic structure is sensitive to the composition and the martensitic transformation temperature is most drastically affected by the Ni content. The alloys with large magnetostrain or co-existence effect of the magnetic and structural transitions were also listed in a limited area.
