英国瓦莲-斯普林(Warren spring)实验室对这台利用导电性差别的新分选机进行了试验并报导了其试验结果。本文叙述了用于分选颗粒混合矿物的新型分选机。分选过程是根据混合物料中各种矿物导电性的差别。分选机由一个水平旋转的圆盘构成。被选物料给到圆盘上面并且由电晕放电的离子流使物料充电。导电的颗粒很快失掉其电荷并为离心力所抛开,不导电的颗粒保存共所得电荷而附在圆盘上并被刷子刷下。本文还提出了对各种混合物料的试验结果。

Background:Given that epidemiological evidence suggests a potential protective role for Bacille-calmette-Guerin against cOVID-19,we aimed to explore whether pre-exposure of human monocyte-derived macrophages and dendritic cells to BcG could modulate their response to SARS-coV-2 ***:Dual ThP-1 cells containing 2 reporter plasmids for transcription factors NF-κB,and IRF were differ-entiated into macrophages over 3 days using phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate,or into dendritic cells over 6 days using commercial monocyte-dencritic cell differentiation media and matured with recombinant tumor necrosis factor-α.cells were exposed to BcG for 24 h and then stimulated with SARS-coV-2 S-glycoprotein for 24 ***:Pre-exposure of human macrophages and Dcs to BcG increased IRF and NF-kb activation in response to the SARS-coV-2 ***:Our results showed that pre-exposure of both types of cells to BcG exhibited an increase in inflam-matory transcription factors upon stimulation with ***-induced trained immunity may be an important tool for reducing susceptibility to SARS-coV-2 infection and severity of *** findings help in the design of future BcG-based therapeutic approaches in the treatment of diseases caused by viral infections.

Purpose:The purposes of the present study were:(1)to determine whether the physical working capacity at the fatigue threshold(PWcFT)model that has been used for estimating the onset of neuromuscular fatigue in the vastus lateralis(VL)during incremental treadmill running could also be applied to the vastus medialis(VM),biceps femoris(BF),and semitendinosus(ST)muscles;and(2)if applicable,to compare the running velocities associated with the PWcFT among these ***:Eleven subjects(age 21.7±1.8 years)performed an incremental treadmill test to exhaustion with electromyographic signals recorded from the VL,VM,BF,and ***:The results indicated there were no significant(p>0.05)mean differences in the running velocities associated with the PWcFT for the VL(14.4±2.0 km/h),VM(14.3±1.9 km/h),BF(13.8±1.8 km/h),and ST(14.7±2.3 km/h).In addition,there were significant inter-correlations(r=0.68-0.88)among running velocities associated with the PWcFT of each *** results also indicated that 9 of the 11 subjects exhibited identical PWcFT values for at least 3 of the 4 muscles,but there were no uniform patterns for any intra-individual ***:The findings of the present study suggested that the PWcFT test is a viable method to identify neuromuscular fatigue in the quadriceps and hamstrings during incremental treadmill exercise and results in consistent PWcFT values among these muscles.

Background:concussed patients have impaired reaction time(RT)and cognition following injury that may linger and impair driving *** research has used direct methods to assess driving-RT *** study compared driving RT during simulated scenarios between concussed and control individuals and examined driving-RT’s relationship with traditional computerized neurocognitive testing(cNT)***:We employed a cross-sectional study among 14 concussed(15.9±9.8 days post-concussion,mean±SD)individuals and 14 healthy controls matched for age,sex,and driving *** completed a driving simulator and cNT(cNS Vital Signs)assessment within 48 h of symptom resolution.A driving-RT composite(ms)was derived from 3 simulated driving scenarios:stoplight(green to yellow),evasion(avoiding approaching vehicle),and pedestrian(person running in front of vehicle).The cNT domains included verbal and visual memory;cNT-RT(simple-,complex-,Stroop-RT individually);simple and complex attention;motor,psychomotor,and processing speed;executive function;and cognitive *** t tests and hedge d effect sizes assessed driving-RT differences between groups,Pearson correlations(r)examined driving RT and cNT domain relationships among cohorts separately,and p values were controlled for false discovery rate via Benjamini-hochberg procedures(a=0.05).Results:concussed participants demonstrated slower driving-RT composite scores than controls(mean difference=292.86 ms;95%confidence interval(95%cI):70.18515.54;p=0.023;d=0.992).Evasion-RT(p=0.054;d=0.806),pedestrian-RT(p=0.258;d=0.312),and stoplight-RT(p=0.292;d=0.585)outcomes were not statistically significant after false-discovery rate corrections but demonstrated medium to large effect sizes for concussed *** concussed individuals,driving-RT outcomes did not significantly correlate with cNT domains(r-range:0.51 to 0.55;p>0.05).No correlations existed between driving-RT outcomes a

This results is the natural extensinn to α ∈ (1, 2] of the classical sufficient condition that establishes that Lα(0, T; Lγ) is a regularity class if (2/α)+(n/γ) = 1. Even the borderline case α = 2 is significat. In fact, this result states that L2(0, T; W1,n) is a regularity class if n≤ 4. Since W1,n→L∞ is false, this result does not follow from the classical one that states that L2(0, T; L∞) is a regularity class.
