Novel self-assembled porous yolk-shell NiO nanospheres with excellent electrochromic performance for smart windows

With the rapid development of optoelectronics,electrochromic(Ec)materials(EcMs)with the advan-tages of low power consumption,easy viewing,high contrast ratio,etc have attached more and more attention from the fields of smart windows,electronic billboards,emerging wearable and portable electronics,and other next-generation *** oxide(NiO)is a promising candidate for high-performance EcMs because of its neutral-colored states and low ***,NiO-based EcMs still face the problem of slow switching speed due to their low electrical conductivity and small lattice ***-organic frameworks(MOFs)are promising candidates to fabricate hollow and porous transition metal oxides(TMOs)with high ion transport efficiency,excellent specific capacitance,and electrochemical *** this work,porous yolk-shell NiO nanospheres(PYS-NiO NSs)were syn-thesized via a solvothermal and subsequent calcination process of Ni-MOF,which exhibited outstanding Ec *** the large specific surface areas and hollow porous nanostructures were conducive to ionic transport,PYS-NiO NSs exhibited a fast coloring/bleaching speed(3.6/3.9 s per one coloring/bleaching cycle)and excellent cycling stability(82%of capacity retention after 3000 cycles).These superior Ec properties indicated that the PYS-NiO NSs was a promising candidate for high-performance Ec *** work provides a new and feasible strategy for the efficient preparation of TMOs EcMs with good Ec performance,especially fast switching speed.

The construction of highly stable and efficient electrocatalysts is desirable for seawater splitting but remains challenging due to the high concentration of cl-in ***,FeOOH/Ni(OH)_(2)heterostructure supported on Ni_(3)S_(2)-covered nickel foam(Fe–Ni/Ni_(3)S_(2)/NF)was fabricated by hydrothermal and etching methods,as well as anodic oxidation *** electronic structure of FeOOH and Ni(OH)_(2)could be modulated after depositing FeOOH nanoparticles on Ni(OH)_(2)nanosheet,which greatly boosted the catalytic *** the catalyst used as an electrode for oxygen evolution reaction(OER),it needed low overpotentials of 266 and 368 m V to achieve current densities of 100 and 800 m A·cm^(-2),respectively,in 1 mol·L^(-1)KOH+seawater *** can operate continuously at 100 m A·cm^(-2)for 400 h without obvious ***,in situ generated SO_(4)^(2-)from inner Ni_(3)S_(2)during electrolysis process would accumulate on the surface of active sites to form passivation layers to repel cl^(-),which seemed to be responsible for superior *** study not only synthesizes an OER catalyst for highly selective and stable seawater splitting,but also gives a novel approach for industrial hydrogen production.

It is important to reduce cd and As content in brown rice in contaminated paddy *** conducted research on the effects of rice husk ash (RHA) on the cd and As in the rhizosphere microenvironment (soil,porewater,and iron plaque) and measured the cd,As,and Si content in rice *** main elements in RHA were Si (29.64%) and O (69.17%),which had the maximum adsorption capacity for cd was 42.49 mg/kg and for As was 18.62 mg/*** pH and available Si content increased,while soil available cd and As decreased following application of 0.5%–2%*** promote the transformation of cd to insoluble fraction,while As was transformed from a poorly soluble form to a more active *** reduced cd content and increased Si content in porewater,and reduced As only at the later rice growth *** increased the amount of iron plaque,thereby decreasing the cd content in iron plaque,while increased the As content in *** and inorganic As content in brown rice were decreased,to 0.31 mg/kg and 0.18 mg/kg,*** decrease of cd in brown rice was due to the decrease of cd mobility in soil,thereby reducing root accumulation,while the decrease of As in brown rice was affected by the transport from roots to ***,RHA can be considered as a safe and efficient in-situ remediation amendment for cd and As co-contaminated paddy soil.

The interactions between lignin oligomers and solvents determine the behaviors of lignin oligomers self-assembling into uniform lignin nanoparticles(LNPs).Herein,several alcohol solvents,which readily interact with the lignin oligomers,were adopted to study their effects during solvent shifting process for LNPs’*** lignin oligomers with widely distributed molecular weight and abundant guaiacyl units were extracted from wood waste(mainly consists of pine wood),exerting outstanding self-assembly *** and spherical LNPs were generated in H_(2)O-n-propanol cosolvent,whereas irregular LNPs were obtained in H_(2)O-methanol *** unsatisfactory self-assembly performance of the lignin oligomers in H_(2)O-methanol cosolvent could be attributed to two *** one hand,for the initial dissolution state,the distinguishing Hansen solubility parameter and polarity between methanol solvent and lignin oligomers resulted in the poor dispersion of the lignin *** the other hand,strong hydrogen bonds between methanol solvent and lignin oligomers during solvent shifting process,hindered the interactions among the lignin oligomers for self-assembly.

Heavy metals potentially drive co-selection of antibiotic resistance genes by shifting soil bacterial communities in paddy soils along the middle and lower yangtze River

Heavy metals(HMs)and antibiotic resistance have become serious environmental problems affecting soil and human *** microorganisms play key roles in pollutant degradation and biogeochemical cycling processes;however,the interactions among HMs,soil microbial communities,and antibiotic resistance genes(ARgs)in agricultural soils remain *** quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction and NovaSeq sequencing,we evaluated heavy metal contents,abundances of ARgs,soil bacterial community structure and functions,and their correlations in paddy soils at 43 sampling sites along the middle and lower reaches of the yangtze River,central and eastern *** results showed the co-occurrence of HMs,ARgs,and HM resistance genes across all paddy ***,significant positive associations were detected between HMs and resistance ***,czcA,and int1 were positively correlated with bacterial community *** Mantel test showed that bacterial community composition and functions were significantly associated with HMs and resistance genes,such as cd,cr,Zn,copA,czcA,int1,and ***,HMs and ARgs were the major factors shaping soil bacterial communities;thus,HMs triggered proliferation of HM and antibiotic resistances by influencing the mobile genetic element(int1)and soil microbial *** study revealed that HMs potentially drive the co-selection of ARgs by shifting soil bacterial community structure and functions,thereby increasing the potential risks to human health as well as ecological environment in the paddy soils along the middle and lower reaches of the yangtze River.

H7N9 subtype avian influenza virus poses a great challenge for poultry *** disease virus(NDV)-vectored H7N9 avian influenza vaccines(NDV_(vec)H7N9)are effective in disease control because they are protective and allow mass *** note,these vaccines elicit undetectable H7N9-specific hemagglutination-inhibition(HI)but high Igg antibodies in ***,the molecular basis and protective mechanism underlying this particular antibody immunity remain ***,immunization with an NDV_(vec)H7N9 induced low anti-H7N9 HI and virus neutralization titers but high levels of hemagglutinin(HA)-binding Igg antibodies in *** residues(S150,g151 and S152)in HA of H7N9 virus were identified as the dominant epitopes rec.gnized by the NDV_(vec)H7N9 immune *** transferred NDV_(vec)H7N9 immune serum conferred complete protection against H7N9 virus infection in *** NDV_(vec)H7N9 immune serum can mediate a potent lysis of HA-expressing and H7N9 virus-infected cells and significantly suppress H7N9 virus *** activities of the serum were significantly impaired after heat-inactivation or treatment with complement inhibitor,suggesting the engagement of the complement ***,mutations in the 150-SgS-152 sites in HA resulted in significant reductions in cell lysis and virus neutralization mediated by the NDV_(vec)H7N9 immune serum,indicating the requirement of antibody-antigen binding for complement ***,antibodies induced by the NDV_(vec)H7N9 can activate antibody-dependent complement-mediated lysis of H7N9 virus-infected cells and complement-mediated neutralization of H7N9 *** findings unveiled a novel role of the complement in protection conferred by the NDV_(vec)H7N9,highlighting a potential benefit of engaging the complement system in H7N9 vaccine design.

High fish predation pressure can trigger"induced defense"in Daphnia species,resulting in phenotypic plasticity in morphology,behavior,or life-history *** molecular mechanisms of defense morphogenesis(e.g.,the tail spine and helmet)in Daphnia remain *** the pres-ent study,the tail spine,helmet,and body of Daphnia galeata under fish and non-fish kairomones conditions were collected for transcriptome analysis.A total of 24 candidate genes related to the morphological defense of *** were identified,including 2 trypsin,one cuticle protein,1 c1qDc protein,and 2 ferritin *** function of the Dagcut gene(*** cuticle protein gene)in relation to tail spine morphology was assessed using RNA interference(RNAi).compared with the EgFP(Enhanced green fluorescent protein)treatment,after RNAi,the expression levels of the Dagcut gene(*** cuticle protein gene)showed a significant ***,the tail spines of the offspring pro-duced by *** after RNAi of the Dagcut gene appeared curved during the *** whole-mount in situ hybridization,a clear signal site was detected on the tail spine of *** before RNAi which disappeared after *** results suggest that the Dagcut gene may play an important role in tail spine formation of ***,and will provide a theoretical basis for studying the molecular mechanisms of the morpho-logical plasticityin cladocera inthefuture.

Objective:To explore the effect of the Plan-Do-check-Action(PDcA)cycle on hand hygiene and nosocomial infection quality of or thopedic medical ***:The whole year of 2021 was selected to monitor the quality of hand hygiene and ***-up monitoring and real-time recording during the period of morning shift and medical operation concentration time,and compare the compliance of hand hygiene before and after implementation,and evaluate the quality of nosocomial ***:The hand hygiene compliance of doctors and nurses in stage P was 82%.The compliance of medical staff in stage D was 93%.The compliance of stage c was 94%and that of stage A was 95%.The quality score of hospital self-examination nosocomial infection was also significantly ***:The PDcA management cycle can effectively improve the compliance of hand hygiene and the nosocomial infection quality,which is wor thy of circulatory application in or thopedic nosocomial infection quality control,especially improving the quality of hand hygiene.
