A chemo-mechanical model is developed to investigate the effects on the stress development of the coating of polycrystalline ni-rich LinixMnyco_(z)O_(2)(x≥0.8)(nMc)particles with poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)(PEDOT).The simulation results show that the coating of primary nMc particles significantly reduces the stress generation by efficiently accommodating the volume change associated with the lithium diffusion,and the coating layer plays roles both as a cushion against the volume change and a channel for the lithium transport,promoting the lithium distribution across the secondary particles more ***,the lower stiffness,higher ionic conductivity,and larger thickness of the coating layer improve the stress *** paper provides a mathematical framework for calculating the chemo-mechanical responses of anisotropic electrode materials and fundamental insights into how the coating of nMc active particles mitigates stress levels.

The corrosion behavior of pure aluminum in neutral 3.0% （mass fraction） sodium chloride （na-cl） solution has been studied using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy （EIS） measurement in conjunction with the scanning electron microscopy （SEM） technique. EIS information on the evolution of pitting corrosion over a period of 15 days has been obtained and analyzed with equivalent circuit technique. The results shown that, during the ensemble constant immersion time, two time constants involved, the high frequency one originated from the protective layer on the corroding surface while the low frequenO, one from the diffusion process or the corrosion reaction and so on. And there existed a period for oxide film to growth and thickening prior to the of the attacking of chloride ions to the substrate. Meanwhile, good relationship between EIS and the material corrosion type/severity has been obtained, which has been interpreted according to the characteristics of corrosion process such as auto acceleration of pitting corrosion and the protection of local anodic reaction to the area around them.

Spent mushroom substrate(SMS)is an abundant residue generated by the mushroom industry,which is mostly *** this study,the SMS of four cultivated mushrooms were evaluated as potential sources of ligninolytic *** ostreatus,***,*** and Ganoderma lucidum were cultivated in two different substrates to determine growth,mushroom yields and ligninolytic activity of laccase(Lac)and manganese peroxidase(MnP).Maximum activities in the SMS were 3.731 U/g Lac and 0.191 U/g MnP,both for *** mushroom substrates were also analyzed,and higher activities were found in almost all samples.A correlation test between mushroom yields and ligninolytic activities of each culture was made,and we found that high enzymatic activity in the substrate did not result in high mushroom productivity or vice *** SMS was a good source of ligninolytic *** activity depended on the mushroom species and its affinity to the substrate,and it was not influenced by the mushroom *** of mushrooms in diverse lignocellulosic substrates is gaining interest,and ob-taining ligninolytic enzymes from residual SMS is an excellent alternative in the circular economy concept.

The experimental work reported here is devoted to the study of the luminous activity of a long dielectric barrier discharge （DBD） afterglow at atmospheric pressure. The discharge plasma is generated in a commercially available （AcXys Technologies） reactor, using a n2 flow of a few tens SL/min, whereas the luminous afterglow when channelled into a quartz tube extends at a distance of 50 cm, finishing in a luminous arrow at the tube＇s exit. The luminous activity of the afterglow is studied by means of photomultiplier scans and optical emission spectroscopy, revealing an interesting transient phase. An attempt is made to correlate this effect with the active species＇ creation and destruction mechanisms.

Earth＇s variable rotation is mainly produced by the variability of the AAM（atmospheric angular momentum）. In particular, the axial AAM component X_3, which undergoes especially strong variations,induces changes in the Earth＇s rotation rate. In this study we analysed maps of regional input into the effective axial AAM from 1948 through 2011 from ncEP/ncAR reanalysis. Global zonal circulation patterns related to the LOD（length of day） were described. We applied MSSA（Multichannel Singular Spectrum Analysis） jointly to the mass and motion components of AAM, which allowed us to extract annual, semiannual, 4-mo nth, quasi-biennial, 5-year, and low-frequency oscillations. Pcs（Principal components） strongly related to EnSO（El nino southern oscillation） were released. They can be used to study EnSO-induced changes in pressure and wind fields and their coupling to LOD. The Pcs describing the trends have captured slow atmospheric circulation changes possibly related to climate variability.

Using a previous model, which was developed to describe the light-induced creation of the defect density in the a-Si：H gap states, we present in this work a numerical modelling of the photodegradation effect in the a-Si：H p–i–n solar cell under continuous illumination. We first considered the simple case of a monochromatic light beam with a wavelength λ between 530–540 nm non uniformly absorbed, then the global standard solar spectrum（AM1.5） illumination is taken into account. The photodegradation is analysed on the basis of the resulting changes in the free carrier＇s densities, recombination rate, band structure, electrical potential and field, space charge, and current densities. changes in the cell＇s external parameters： the open circuit voltage Voc, the short circuit current density Jsc, the fill factor ff and the maximum power density Pmaxare also presented.

Atmospheric pressure air/Ar/H_2O gliding arc discharge plasma is produced by a pulsed dc power supply. An optical emission spectroscopic（OES） diagnostic technique is used for the characterization of plasmas and for identifications of OH and O radicals along with other species in the plasmas. The OES diagnostic technique reveals the excitation Tx？≈？5550–9000 K, rotational Tr？≈？1350–2700 K and gas Tg？≈？850–1600 K temperatures, and electron density n？（1.1-1.9） ′101 4 cm^（-3） e under different experimental conditions. The production and destruction of OH and O radicals are investigated as functions of applied voltage and air flow rate. Relative intensities of OH and O radicals indicate that their production rates are increased with increasing Ar content in the gas mixture and applied voltage. nereveals that the higher densities of OH and O radicals are produced in the discharge due to more effective electron impact dissociation of H_2O and O_2 molecules caused by higher kinetic energies as gained by electrons from the enhanced electric field as well as by enhanced n *** productions of OH and O are decreasing with increasing air flow rate due to removal of Joule heat from the discharge region but enhanced air flow rate significantly modifies discharge maintenance properties. Besides, Tgsignificantly reduces with the enhanced air flow rate. This investigation reveals that Ar plays a significant role in the production of OH and O radicals.

We have developed a computer code for {／em ab initio} the variational configuration interaction calculation of the electronic structure of atoms via variationally optimized Lagurre type orbitals, treating the orbital effective charges as variational parameters. Excited states of the same symmetry, in order to avoid the inherent restrictions of the standard method of Hylleraas--Unheim and MacDonald, are computed variationally by minimizing the recently developed minimization functionals for excited states. By computing, at the minimum, the one-electron density and the probability distribution of the two-electron angle, and the most probable two-electron angle, we investigate the atomic states of the carbon atom. We show that, without resorting to the （admittedly unproven） concept of hybridization, as an intrinsic property of the atomic wave function, the most probable value of the two-electron angle is around the known angles of carbon bonding, i.e. either 109^／circ or 120^／circ or 180^／circ, depending on each low-lying state of the bare carbon atom.
