Facile preparation of a Sic@SiO_(2)nanowire-toughened ZrB_(2)-Sic/Sic bilayer coating with good interfacial bonding,high toughness,and excellent c.c.ic ablation resistance on c.c. composites

Preparing antioxidant coatings to address the inherent oxidation sensitivity of carbon fiber-reinforced carbon aerogel(c.c.)composites is a feasible way to promote their application in oxidizing environments as thermal insulation ***,preparing the coatings with excellent oxidation and ablation resistance while avoiding evident damage to the c.c. substrate still remains a ***,a Sic@SiO_(2)nanowire-toughened ZrB2–Sic/Sic bilayer coating with a large thickness of 500μm was prepared on c.c. using a one-step low-temperature reaction sintering method,which simultaneously formed a sintered outer layer with even-distributed nanowires and a siliconized gradient inner *** courtesy of the synergic thermal response of the layers and the crack deflection induced by the nanowires,the resulting coating has moderate residual compressive stress of 0.08–1.22 GPa in the interface,high interfacial bonding strength of 6.02 MPa,and good fracture toughness of 4.36 MPa·m^(1/2).Benefited from the optimum components and improved structure,the coating shows excellent c.c.ic ablation resistance with linear ablation rates of 0.1μm/s at 1650℃for 1500 s(300 s×5 c.c.es)and 0.4μm/s at 1850℃for 900 s(300 s×3 c.c.es).The one-step preparation strategy contributes to little damage to the substrate,thus showing the well-preserved mechanical and thermal insulation properties.

Demand response has been recognized as a valuable functionality of power systems for mitigating power *** paper proposes a hierarchical control strategy among the distribution system operator(DSO),load aggregators(LAs),and thermostatically controlled loads(TcLs);the strategy includes a scheduling layer and an executive layer to provide load *** the scheduling layer,the DSO(leader)offers compensation price(cP)strategies,and the LAs(followers)respond to cP strategies with available regulation power(ARP)*** of the DSO and LAs are modeled according to their behaviors during the load regulation *** game is adopted to capture interactions among the players and leader and to obtain the optimal strategy for each participant to achieve ***,considering inevitable random factors in practice,e.g.,renewable generation and behavior of users,two different stochastic models based on sample average approximation(SAA)and parameter modification are formulated with improved scheduling *** the executive layer,distributed TcLs are triggered based on strategies determined in the scheduling layer.A self-triggering method that does not violate user privacy is presented,where TcLs receive external signals from the LA and independently determine whether to alter their operation *** simulations are performed on the modified IEEE-24 bus system to verify effectiveness of the proposed strategy.

With deployment of measurement units,fitting static equivalent models of distribution networks(DNs)by linear regression has been recognized as an effective method in power flow analysis of a transmission *** volatility of measurements caused by variable distributed renewable energy sources makes it more difficult to accurately fit such equivalent *** tackle this challenge,this letter proposes a novel data-driven method to improve equivalency accuracy of DNs with distributed energy *** letter provides a new perspective that an equivalent model can be regarded as a mapping from internal conditions and border voltages to border power *** mapping can be established through 1)Koopman operator theory,and 2)physical features of power flow equations at the root node of a *** of the proposed method is demonstrated on the IEEE 33-bus and IEEE 136-bus test systems connected to a 661-bus utility system.

Zooplankton,a crucial component of urban wetland,are one of the effective bioindicators for monitoring the feeding stocks of organisms at higher trophic levels and assessing the ecological quality of ***,information about the characteristics of epiphytic zooplankton community structure resulted from traditional methods is limited and hindered by the large amount of detritus and sludge attached to the *** investigated the epiphytic zooplankton communities associated with macrophytes(Vallisneria,Nymphaea,and Thalia dealbata)in a subtropical wetland using as DNA markers of the 18 S rRNA gene and the mitochondrial cytochrome c oxidase subunit I(cOI)gene.A total of 241 OTUs of zooplankton were obtained from cOI amplicons,including 194 OTUs of Rotifera,22 of cladocera,and 25 of copepoda,while only 62 OTUs of zooplankton were obtained from 18 S rDNA amplicons including 34 OTUs of Rotifera and 28 of *** zooplankton communities associated with the three macrophytes were similar,but they differed significantly from those in the open ***,there were no significant temporal differences among the zooplankton *** zooplankton communities were dominated by littoral zooplankton such as Testudinella,Lecane,and ***,especially littoral species,utilize macrophytes as food sources and as refuges against *** further led to an increase inαandβdiversity of zooplankton communities in urban *** result suggests that the joint use of multiple molecular markers could improve the taxonomic resolution and generate a comprehensive biodiversity profile of zooplankton.

The effects of co and Fe co-doping Ni-Mn-In alloy on the phase stability,lattice parameters,mag-netic properties,and electronic structures are systematically investigated by using the first-principles *** indicate that Fe atoms replace the excess Mn2 atoms by direct and indirect coex-istence(Fe→Mn 2 and Fe→In→Mn2);co substitutes the Ni atoms by direct substitution(co→Ni)for the Ni-Mn-In *** austenites all exhibit the ferromagnetic(FM)state for the studied *** NM martensites are in the ferrimagnetic(FIM-1)state for the Ni_(2)Mn_(1.5)In_(0.5),Ni_(2)Mn_(1.25)In_(0.5)Fe 0.25,Ni_(1.75)Mn_(1.5)In_(0.5)co_(0.25),and Ni_(1.75)Mn_(1.25)In_(0.5)co_(0.25)Fe 0.25 alloys,while the other compositions are in the FM *** phase stability of austenite and martensite decreases with increasing co and Fe co-doping.A magnetic-structural coupling transition occurs at xco_(0.08)and Ni_(1.91)Mn_(1.42)In_(0.5)co_(0.08)Fe_(0.08)alloys exhibit an A→6M→NM transformation,accompanied by a magnetic *** co and Fe are co-doped,the hybridization strength between co and Fe is greater than that between co/Fe and *** enhancement of magnetocaloric and elastocaloric effects is favored by larger magnetization difference(△M)and lattice volume change(△V/V_(0)).Based on the calculated phase stability,magneto-structure coupling,△V/V 0 and c/a ratio,one can predict that the Ni_(2)-x Mn_(1.5)-y In_(0.5)co x Fe y alloy with co content 0≤x≤0.25 and Fe content 0≤y≤0.05 is predicted to have good magneto-controlled functional behavior.

The levered-dual response(LEDAR)coulomb-damped system attains near resonant vibration isolation by differential preloads/offsets in linear *** takes the advantages of both the preloads/offsets in linear springs and the guiderail friction for realizing different levels of vibration *** isolation capacities are investigated on the strategies with both the horizontal and vertical guiderails,with the horizontal rail only,and without *** compressive preloads generally result in the consumption of most of the initial excitation energy so as to overcome the potential *** isolation onsets at the frequency ratio of 1∓0.095 on the left-hand side(LHS)and the right-hand side(RHS)of the lever are relative to the load plate *** observed near resonant isolation thus makes the LEDAR system a candidate for the isolation of the mechanical systems about resonance while opening a path for simultaneous harvesterisolation functions and passive functions at extreme frequencies.
