This paper investigates the consensus control of multi-agent systems(MASs) with constrained input using the dynamic event-triggered mechanism(ETM).consider the MASs with small-scale networks where a centralized dynamic ETM with global information of the MASs is first ***,a distributed dynamic ETM which only uses local information is developed for the MASs with large-scale *** is shown that the semi-global consensus of the MASs can be achieved by the designed bounded control protocol where the Zeno phenomenon is eliminated by a designable minimum inter-event *** addition,it is easier to find a trade-off between the convergence rate and the minimum inter-event time by an adjustable ***,the results are extended to regional consensus of the MASs with the bounded control *** simulations show the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

coral sandy soils widely exist in coral island reefs and seashores in tropical and subtropical *** to the unique marine depositional environment of coral sandy soils,the engineering characteristics and responses of these soils subjected to monotonic and c.c.ic loadings have been a subject of intense interest among the geotechnical and earthquake engineering *** paper critically reviews the progress of experimental investigations on the undrained behavior of coral sandy soils under monotonic and c.c.ic loadings over the last three *** focus of coverage includes the contractive-dilative behavior,the pattern of excess pore-water pressure(EPWP)generation and the liquefaction mechanism and liquefaction resistance,the small-strain shear modulus and strain-dependent shear modulus and damping,the c.c.ic softening feature,and the anisotropic.c.aracteristics of undrained responses of saturated coral sandy *** particular,the advances made in the past decades are reviewed from the following aspects:(1)the characterization of factors that impact the mechanism and patterns of EPWP build-up;(2)the identification of liquefaction triggering in terms of the apparent viscosity and the average flow coefficient;(3)the establishment of the invariable form of strain-based,stress-based,or energy-based EPWP ratio formulas and the unique relationship between the new proxy of liquefaction resistance and the number of c.c.es required to reach liquefaction;(4)the establishment of the invariable form of the predictive formulas of small strain modulus and strain-dependent shear modulus;and(5)the investigation on the effects of stress-induced anisotropy on liquefaction susceptibility and dynamic deformation *** gained through the critical review of these advances in the past decades offer a perspective for future research to further resolve the fundamental issues concerning the liquefaction mechanism and responses of coral sandy sites subjecte

considering the large number of returns in online sales and the network externalities of e-platforms,we develop a decentralized model and a centralized model to explore the impacts of returns and network externalities on e-commerce supply chain(Ec.c.*** show that in the decentralized model,the service level,price,market demand,and Ec.c.members’profits increase with the network externality ***,the service level and price increase,while the market demand and Ec.c.members’profits decrease with the product return *** centralized model is the optimal operating mode when it is properly *** design the“commission and return cost-sharing”contract to optimize Ec.c.in which the proportion of the e-platform’s sharing of the return handling cost is exactly equal to the proportion of the system profit after *** on the decentralized model,we develop two extended models in which we endogenize the impacts of the service level and return rate on the network externality *** comparisons between the extended and decentralized models,we show that high-quality service can improve Ec.c.s profitability,while a high return rate hurts its economic performance.

considering their affordability and high strength-to-weight ratio,lightweight aluminium alloys are the subject of intensive research aimed at improving their properties for use in the aerospace *** research effort aims to develop novel hybrid composites based on AA 2014 alloy through the use of liquid metallurgy stir casting to reinforce dual ceramic particles of Zirconium Diboride(ZrB_(2))and Boron carbide(B4c).The weight percentage(wt%)of ZrB_(2) was varied(0,5,10,and 15),while a constant 5 wt%of B4c was maintained during this *** as-cast samples have been assessed using an Optical Microscope(OM)and a Scanning Electron Microscope(SEM)with Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy(EDS).The properties such as hardness,tensile strength,and wear characteristics of stir cast specimens were assessed to examine the impact of varying weight percentages of reinforcements in AA 2014 *** particular,dry sliding wear behaviour was evaluated considering varied loads using a pin-on-disc *** the weight%of ZrB_(2) grew and B4c was incorporated,hybrid composites showed higher hardness,tensile strength,and wear ***,the incorporation of a cumulative reinforcement consisting of 15 wt%ZrB_(2) and 5 wt%B4c resulted in a significant 31.86%increase in hardness and a 44.1%increase in tensile strength compared to AA 2014 *** addition,it has been detected that wear resistance of hybrid composite pin(containing 20 wt%cumulative reinforcement)is higher than that of other stir cast wear test pins during the whole range of applied *** surfaces of tensile specimens showed ductile fracture in the AA 2014 matrix and mixed mode for hybrid *** surfaces obtained employing higher applied load indicated abrasive wear with little plastic deformation for hybrid composites and dominant adhesive wear for matrix ***,the superior mechanical and tribological performance of hybrid composites can be attributed to dual reinforcement pa

Protein tyrosine kinases (RTKs) modulate a wide range of pathophysiological events in several non-malignant disorders, including diabetic.c.mplications. To find new targets driving the development of diabetic.c.rdiomyopathy (DcM), we profiled an RTKs phosphorylation array in diabetic mouse hearts and identified increased phosphorylated fibroblast growth factor receptor 1 (p-FGFR1) levels in cardiomyocytes, indicating that FGFR1 may contribute to the pathogenesis of DcM. Using primary cardiomyocytes and H9c2 cell lines, we discovered that high-concentration glucose (HG) transactivates FGFR1 kinase domain through toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) and c-Src, independent of FGF ligands. Knocking down the levels of either TLR4 or c-Src prevents HG-activated FGFR1 in cardiomyocytes. RNA-sequencing analysis indicates that the elevated FGFR1 activity induces pro-inflammatory responses via MAPKs–NFκB signaling pathway in HG-challenged cardiomyocytes, which further results in fibrosis and hypertrophy. We then generated cardiomyocyte-specific FGFR1 knockout mice and showed that a lack of FGFR1 in cardiomyocytes prevents diabetes-induced cardiac inflammation and preserves cardiac function in mice. Pharmacological inhibition of FGFR1 by a selective inhibitor, AZD4547, also prevents cardiac inflammation, fibrosis, and dysfunction in both type 1 and type 2 diabetic mice. These studies have identified FGFR1 as a new player in driving DcM and support further testing of FGFR1 inhibitors for possible cardioprotective benefits.

Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3)(NVP),as a great potential cathode candidate for Na-ion batteries(NIBs),has attracted enormous interest due to its three-dimensional(3D)large open framework for convenient Na+transport,yet its practical application is still limited by its inferior electron conductivity and sluggish Na+diffusion ***,the tiny cr doped hierarchical NVP micro-flower cathodes(i.e.,Na_(3)V_(2-x)crx(PO_(4))_(3)@c,x≤0.1),which are self-assembled with single-crystal nanoflake subunits in-situ coated with carbon nano-shell,are designed and fabricated via a scalable *** optimized cathode,i.e.,Na_(3)V_(1.94)cr_(0.06)(PO_(4))_(3)@c(NVcP-6),was endowed with more electro-active Na(2)sites and higher electronic/ionic.c.nductivity for efficient sodium *** from these competitive merits,the NVcP-6,when evaluated as a cathode towards NIBs,exhibits an ultrahigh-rate capability of 99.8 mAh·g^(-1)at 200 c and superior stability of 82.2%over 7300 c.c.es at 50 ***,the NVcP-6 based full NIBs display remarkable electrochemical properties in terms of both high-rate capacities and long-duration c.c.ing properties at different temperatures(-20–50°c).The contribution,i.e.,the design of“four ounces can move a thousand pounds”,here will promote the practical industrial application of NVP towards advanced NIBs.

Whispering gallery mode(WGM)microlasers are highly sensitive to localized refractive index changes allowing to link their emission spectrum to various chemical,mechanical,or physical *** recently found applications in biological studies within single cells,in three-dimensional samples such as multicellular spheroids,or in ***,detailed studies of biological samples also need to account for the structural heterogeneity of tissues and live animals,therefore requiring a combination of high-resolution microscopy and laser ***,we design and construct a light sheet fluorescence microscope with a coupled spectrometer for use in microlaser studies for combined high-resolution,high-speed imaging and WGM spectral *** light sheet illumination profile and the decoupled geometry of excitation and emission hereby directly affect the lasing and sensing properties,mainly through geometric.c.nstraints and by light coupling *** demonstrate the basic working principle of microlaser spectroscopy under light sheet excitation and measure the absolute refractive index within agarose and in zebrafish tail muscle *** further analyze the light coupling conditions that lead to the occurrence of two separate oscillation *** so-called cross modes can be scanned around the entire microlaser surface,which allows to estimate a surface-averaged refractive index profile of the microlaser environment.
