The ebct of hydrogenation-dehydrogenation on the microstructure of forping Ti-24Al14Nb-3V-0.5MO alloy was investigated by TEM and X-ray ddection. The resultsshowed that the microstructure consists of O and b2 phases as received materials, and tmoprmation of b2 phase to O phase can be eNctively promoted 6y hydrogenation. The lamellate γ hydride was found in O phase with more hydmpen content, and this γ hydride could be decomposed by dehydmpenation treatment. The sole fine Ophase could be obtained 6y hydmpenation-dehydmpenation treatment, and two possible mechanisms for the microstructure improvetnent have been discussed on the basis of experimental results.

＜正＞A cellular automaton simulation is used to study the role of nucleation at austenite grain boundaries in the transformation from deformed austenite to ferrite for low carbon steels at large cooling rates. The simulation results show that the ferrite grain size of low-carbon steels can be refined in the case of deformed austenite at the large cooling rates. The apparent increase in the number of ferrite nuclei can only take place in a large undercooling temperature. However, the effect on this transformation is quite limited through increasing the nucleation number at austenite grain boundaries in the case of deformed austenite compared with that in the case of undeformed austenite. In such cases, cooling conditions play a main role in determining the resultant ferrite grain size.

Integrating multi-scale sites in a composite catalyst is vital to realize efficient ***,a synergistic composite catalyst consisting of co atomic sites and in-situ generated Ptco intermetallic compounds （IMcs）(o-Ptco@coNc) is proposed through co pre-anchoring and subsequent impregnation-reduction *** loading of co atoms provides a chance for in-situ generating Ptco ordered intermetallic *** remaining co single atoms and Ptco IMcs construct synergistic electrocatalytic *** from the ordered structure,synergistic effect of Pt co IMcs and co single atoms,o-Ptco@coNc exhibits excellent electrocatalytic performance for oxygen reduction reaction （ORR） and hydrogen evolution reaction （HER） with mass activity of 1.21 A mgPt-1（at 0.9 V） and5.70 A mgPt-1（at an overpotential of 100 mV）,***,o-Ptco@coNc delivers negligible loss of half-wave potential and overpotential during long-term stability test in acid solutions,with 13 mV decay after 50,000 potential cycles for ORR and a 2.7 mV decay after 20,000 potential cycles for *** integration strategy of single-atomic sites coupled IMcs paves the way for enhancing the activity and durability of Pt-based electrocatalysts.

The depression mechanism of sulfite ions on sphalerite and Pb^(2+)activated sphalerite in the flotation separation of galena from sphalerite still lacked in-depth ***,the depression mechanism of sulfite ions on sphalerite and Pb^(2+)activated sphalerite in the flotation separation of galena from sphalerite was further systematically investigated with experiments and density functional theory(DFT)*** X-ray photoelectric spectroscopy(XPS)results,DFT calculation results,and frontier molecular orbital analysis indicated that sulfite ions were difficult to be adsorbed on sphalerite surface,suggesting that sulfite ions achieved depression effects on sphalerite through other non-adsorption ***,the oxygen content in the surface of sphalerite treated with sulfite ions in creased,which enhanced the hydrophilicity of the sphalerite and further increased the difference in hydrophilicity between sphalerite and ***,sulfite ions were chelated with lead ions to form PbSO_(3)in *** hydrophilic PbSO_(3)was more easily adsorbed on sphalerite than *** interaction between sulfite ions and lead ions could effectively inhibit the activation of *** addition the UV spectrum showed that after adding sulfite ions,the peak of perxanthate in the sphalerite treated xanthate solution was significantly stronger than that in the galena with xanthate solution,indicating that xanthate interacted more readily with sulfite ions and oxygen mo lecules within the sphalerite system,leading to the formation of ***,sulfite ions hardly depressed the flotation of ga lena and could promote the flotation of galena to some *** study deepened the understanding of the depression mechanism o sulfite ions on sphalerite and Pb^(2+)activated sphalerite.

The production of fine sediments coated with radioisotopes to act as a tracer in studying the movement of dredging spoil involves some physical and chemical treatment of the sediment. The treatment can affect the electrochemical properties of the sediment and hence its behaviour in fresh and saline water. The effect of these changes on the degree of flocculation of the sediment has been studied by measuring the fall velocity distribution in a 4.4m settling column. The results of these tests show that the coating of inactive gold or silver on to natural sediment without any other pretreatment results in a tracer sediment having fall velocities similar to those of natural sediment. Other pretreatments result in variations in the fall velocity distributions owing to different degrees of flocculation induced by the chemical treatments. An artificial sediment consisting of finely ground scandium glass was also tested for comparison.

In patients with Alzheimer’s disease,gamma-glutamyl transferase 5(GGT5)expression has been observed to be downregulated in cerebrovascular endothelial ***,the functional role of GGT5 in the development of Alzheimer’s disease remains *** study aimed to explore the effect of GGT5 on cognitive function and brain pathology in an APP/PS1 mouse model of Alzheimer’s disease,as well as the underlying *** observed a significant reduction in GGT5 expression in two in vitro models of Alzheimer’s disease(Aβ_(1-42)-treated hcMEc/D3 and bEnd.3 cells),as well as in the APP/PS1 mouse ***,injection of APP/PS1 mice with an adeno-associated virus encoding GGT5 enhanced hippocampal synaptic plasticity and mitigated cognitive ***,increasing GGT5 expression in cerebrovascular endothelial cells reduced levels of both soluble and insoluble amyloid-βin the brains of APP/PS1 *** effect may be attributable to inhibition of the expression ofβ-site APP cleaving enzyme 1,which is mediated by nuclear factor-kappa *** findings demonstrate that GGT5 expression in cerebrovascular endothelial cells is inversely associated with Alzheimer’s disease pathogenesis,and that GGT5 upregulation mitigates cognitive deficits in APP/PS1 *** findings suggest that GGT5 expression in cerebrovascular endothelial cells is a potential therapeutic target and biomarker for Alzheimer’s disease.

A statistical work has been done to collect the composition ranges of Ni-Mn-Ga alloys exhibiting different structures and martensite start temperature （M,）, large magnetostrain or the co-existence of magnetic and structural transitions. The alloys with five-layered （5M）, seven-layered （7M） modulated and non-modulated （T） martensitic structures were mapped in the graph. An empirical formula has been presented to reflect the effect of elements nickel （Ni ）, manganese （ Mn ） and gallium （Ga）, on the martensite start temperature （M3）. The martensitic structure is sensitive to the composition and the martensitic transformation temperature is most drastically affected by the Ni content. The alloys with large magnetostrain or co-existence effect of the magnetic and structural transitions were also listed in a limited area.
