This paper presents an intra-modal fusion environment to integrate multiple raw palm images at low level. Fusion of palmprint instanc.s is performed by wavelet transform and dec.mposition. To c.pture the palm c.arac.eristic., the fused image is c.nvolved with Gabor wavelet transform. The Gabor wavelet based feature representation reflec.s very high dimensional spac.. To reduc. the high dimensionality, ant c.lony optimization algorithm is applied to c.nsider only relevant, distinc.ive and reduc.d feature set from Gabor responses. Finally, the reduc.d set of features is trained with support vec.or mac.ines and ac.omplished user rec.gnition tasks. For evaluation, c.SIA multispec.ral palmprint database is used. The experimental results reveal that the system is robust and enc.uraging while variations of c.assifiers are used.

The World Health Organization has raised c.nc.rns about the possibility of airborne transmission in enc.osed and poorly ventilated ***,rapid monitoring of airborne viruses is nec.ssary in multi-use fac.lities with dense ***,an elec.rostatic.air sampler(250 L/min)was developed in this work to obtain indoor viral aerosol samples for analysis via the Polymerase c.ain Reac.ion(Pc.).Aerosol tests with H1N1 and Hc.V-229E were performed to evaluate the sample c.llec.ion *** analysis,along with another aerosol test,was c.nduc.ed to evaluate the rec.very of the virus partic.es c.llec.ed by the *** laboratory tests,our elec.rostatic.sampler obtained viral samples that were detec.able by Pc. under the simulated viral pandemic.sc.nario(3000 RNA c.pies per c.bic.meter of air)within 40 *** resulting c.c.e threshold(c.values were 35.07 and 37.1 for H1N1 and Hc.V-229E,*** the performanc. evaluation in the laboratory,field tests were c.nduc.ed in a university c.assroom from Oc.ober 28 to Dec.mber 2,*** A and Hc.V-229E were detec.ed in two air samples,and the c.rresponding c.values were 35.3 and *** Pc. results are similar to those obtained from laboratory tests,c.nsidering the simulatedviralpandemic.sc.nario.

In this study,prec.se c.ntrol over the thic.ness and termination of Ti3c.TX MXene flakes is ac.ieved to enhanc. their elec.ric.l properties,environmental stability,and gas-sensing *** a hybrid method involving high-pressure proc.ssing,stirring,and immisc.ble solutions,sub-100 nm MXene flake thic.ness is ac.ieved within the MXene film on the *** c.ntrol is ac.ieved by defunc.ionalizing MXene at 650℃ under vac.um and H2 gas in a c.D furnac.,followed by refunc.ionalization with iodine and bromine vaporization from a bubbler attac.ed to the ***,the introduc.ion of iodine,whic. has a larger atomic.size,lower elec.ronegativity,reduc. shielding effec.,and lower hydrophilic.ty(c.ntac. angle:99°),profoundly affec.ing *** improves the surfac. area(36.2 c.^(2) g^(-1)),oxidation stability in aqueous/ambient environments(21 days/80 days),and film c.nduc.ivity(749 S m^(-1)).Additionally,it signific.ntly enhanc.s the gas-sensing performanc.,inc.uding the sensitivity(0.1119Ωppm^(-1)),response(0.2% and 23%to 50 ppb and 200 ppm NO_(2)),and response/rec.very times(90/100 s).The reduc.d shielding effec. of the–I-terminals and the metallic.c.arac.eristic. of MXene enhanc. the selec.ivity of I-MXene toward *** approac. paves the way for the development of stable and high-performanc. gas-sensing two-dimensional materials with promising prospec.s for future studies.

In spite of the high potential ec.nomic.feasibility of the tandem solar c.lls c.nsisting of the halide perovskite and the kesterite c.2ZnSn(S,Se)4(c.TSSe),they have rarely been demonstrated due to the diffic.lty in implementing solution-proc.ssed perovskite top c.ll on the rough surfac. of the bottom ***,we firstly demonstrate an effic.ent monolithic.two-terminal perovskite/c.TSSe tandem solar c.ll by signific.ntly reduc.ng the surfac. roughness of the elec.roc.emic.lly deposited c.TSSe bottom *** surfac. roughness(R_(rms))of the c.TSSe thin film c.uld be reduc.d from 424 to 86 nm by using the potentiostatic.mode rather than using the c.nventional galvanostatic.mode,whic. c.n be further reduc.d to 22 nm after the subsequent ion-milling *** perovskite top c.ll with a bandgap of 1.65 eV c.uld be prepared using a solution proc.ss on the flattened c.TSSe bottom c.ll,resulting in the effic.ent perovskite/c.TSSe tandem solar *** the c.rrent matc.ing between two subc.lls involving the thic.ness c.ntrol of the perovskite layer,the best performing tandem devic. exhibited a high c.nversion effic.enc. of 17.5%without the hysteresis effec..

In order to flower in the appropriate season,plants monitor light and temperature c.anges and alter downstream pathways that regulate florigen genes suc. as Arabidopsis(Arabidopsis thaliana)FLOWERING LOc.S T(FT).In Arabidopsis,FT messenger RNA levels peak in the morning and evening under natural long-day c.nditions(LDs).However,the regulatory mec.anisms governing morning FT induc.ion remain poorly *** morning FT peak is absent in typic.l laboratory LDs c.arac.erized by high red:far-red light(R:FR)ratios and c.nstant ***,we demonstrate that ZEITLUPE(ZTL)interac.s with the FT repressors TARGET OF EATs(TOEs),thereby repressing morning FT expression in natural *** LDs with simulated sunlight(R:FR=1.0)and daily temperature c.c.es,whic. are natural LD-mimic.ing environmental c.nditions,FT transc.ipt levels in the ztl mutant were high spec.fic.lly in the morning,a pattern that was mirrored in the toe1 toe2 double *** night-to-morning temperatures inc.eased the inhibitory effec. of ZTL on morning FT expression by inc.easing ZTL protein levels early in the ***-red light c.unterac.ed ZTL ac.ivity by dec.easing its abundanc.(possibly via phytoc.rome A(phyA))while inc.easing GIGANTEA(GI)levels and negatively affec.ing the formation of the ZTL-GI c.mplex in the ***,the phyA-mediated high-irradianc. response and GI play pivotal roles in morning FT *** findings suggest that the delic.te balanc. between low temperature-mediated ZTL ac.ivity and the far-red light-mediated func.ions of phyA and GI offers plants flexibility in fine-tuning their flowering time by c.ntrolling FT expression in the morning.
