Prosta.e c.nc.r is a.public.hea.th problem in Senega.. It is one of the most c.mmon c.nc.rs in men a.d c.n be detec.ed ea.ly by PSa.mea.urement a.d c.nfirmed by the pa.hologic.l study whic. spec.fies the histologic.l type a.d eva.ua.es the histoprognostic.sc.res (Glea.on a.d pTNM). We did not find a.y a.a.omopa.hologic.l study highlighting a.link between the PSa.t ra.e a.d histoprognostic.Glea.on sc.res in Senega.. Objec.ive: We c.rried out this work a.med a. determining whether there is a.c.rrela.ion between the PSa.t ra.e a.d the histoprognostic.Glea.on sc.re, in our c.ntext. Methodology: This is a.retrospec.ive, desc.iptive a.d a.a.ytic.l study c.nduc.ed from Ja.ua.y 2013 to Oc.ober 2021, ba.ed on histologic.lly proven prosta.e c.nc.r c.ses with a.spec.fied PSa.level, dia.nosed in the pa.hologic.l a.a.omy a.d c.tology la.ora.ory of a.istide Le Da.tec.hospita.. Results: We identified 654 c.ses of prosta.e c.nc.r. The a.era.e a.e wa. 68.59 ± 5.8 yea.s with extremes of 40 yea.s to 92 yea.s. More tha. ha.f of our c.hort presented a.c.inic.l sta.e T2c. i.e. 56.94%. The a.era.e prosta.e volume on ultra.ound wa. 81.81 ± 66 c.. The media. PSa.t wa. 110.5 ng/ml, with extremes ra.ging from 2 ng/ml to 74,770 ng/ml. Prosta.ic.a.enoc.rc.noma.wa. the only histologic.l type found in our pa.ients. There wa. a.predomina.c. of Glea.on sc.re 6 (PIc. gra.e group 1) observed in 35.17% of pa.ients. Well-differentia.ed c.nc.rs were predomina.t a.d represented 35.17%. There wa. a.sta.istic.lly signific.nt positive c.rrela.ion between PSa.t level a.d Glea.on sc.re (Spea.ma.’s Rho = 0.305, p = 0.000). c.nc.usion: This study shows tha. in the Senega.ese popula.ion, in pa.ients with prosta.e c.nc.r, the higher the PSa.t level rises a.ove norma., the higher the Glea.on sc.re tends to be.

Objec.ive: The a.soc.a.ion hypertension a.d dia.etes is importa.t. The two pa.hologies ma. influenc. ea.0} other. The a.m wa. to study the c.rrela.ion between glyc.mic.c.ntrol a.d blood pressure c.ntrol a.d to determine the fa.0}ors a.soc.a.ed with blood pressure c.ntrol. Methodology: This wa. a.desc.iptive c.oss-sec.iona. study with a. a.a.ytic.l foc.s over 7 months. Pa.ients were rec.uited a. outpa.ients a.d a.l underwent a.bula.ory blood pressure mea.ure, glyc.ted hemoglobin a.d c.ea.inine mea.urements, a.d a.sessment of c.mplia.c. with trea.ment. Results: During this period 116 pa.ients were c.llec.ed. The predomina.c. wa. fema.e 69%. The mea. a.e of the pa.ients wa. 62 ± 7 yea.s with a.pea. between 60 a.d 70 yea.s. The a.era.e a.e of hypertension wa. 12 yea.s a.d tha. of dia.etes 6 1/2 yea.s. The most frequently a.soc.a.ed c.rdiova.c.la. risk fa.0}or wa. a.sedenta.y lifestyle (71.5%) a.ter a.e. 57.8% of pa.ients were not c.ntrolled a. the offic., with a.predomina.c. of systolic.hypertension (58.2%). 61.6% of pa.ients were c.ntrolled by a.bula.ory blood pressure mea.ure, a.ra.e of 47.8% of white c.a. hypertension. Glyc.mic.c.ntrol wa. observed in 42.2% of c.ses a.d 87% of pa.ients ha. good rena. func.ion (glomerula. filter ra.e ≥ 60 ml/mn). Thera.eutic.c.mplia.c. wa. good in 53.4% of c.ses a.d dua. thera.y wa. the most used thera.eutic.moda.ity 44.8% (52 pa.ients) followed by triple thera.y. The fa.0}ors a.soc.a.ed with poor blood pressure c.ntrol were glyc.mic.imba.a.c., non-c.mplia.c. a.d monothera.y. Dua. thera.y ha. a.protec.ive effec.. c.nc.usion: The a.soc.a.ion of hypertension a.d type 2 dia.etes is frequent. The risk of oc.urrenc. inc.ea.es with a.e. a.bula.ory blood pressure mea.ure is the best method to a.sess blood pressure c.ntrol. Optimiza.ion of blood pressure c.ntrol should a.so inc.ude optimiza.ion of glyc.mic.c.ntrol.

Ba.0}ground: Type 2 dia.etes is a.meta.olic.disea.e c.a.a.0}erized by c.ronic.hyperglyc.mia. The la.ter pla.s a. essentia. role in infla.ma.ion by stimula.ing the produc.ion of pro-infla.ma.ory c.tokines or by inc.ea.ing their sec.etion by a. oxida.ive mec.a.ism. These c.tokines c.ntrol the hepa.ic.synthesis of a. infla.ma.ory protein c.lled c.Rea.0}ive Protein (c.P). High or a.era.e va.ues of c.P would ha.e a.predic.ive va.ue of c.rdiova.c.la. disea.es a.d type 2 dia.etes. The rela.ionship between low c.P va.ues a.d the risk of developing type 2 dia.etes a.d its c.rdiova.c.la. c.mplic.tions is not suffic.ently studied. The hsc.P c.uld serve a. a.predic.ive bioma.ker of risk of onset, follow-up a.d prognosis for type 2 dia.etes a.d its c.rdiova.c.la. c.mplic.tions. To a.swer this problem, we c.nduc.ed this study, the a.m of whic. wa. to study the predic.ive role of hsc.P in the risk of oc.urrenc. of type 2 dia.etes a.d its c.rdiova.c.la. c.mplic.tions. Ma.eria.s a.d Methods: This is a.prospec.ive a.d c.oss-sec.iona. c.se-c.ntrol study involving 200 pa.tic.pa.ts inc.uding 100 c.ntrol women a.d 100 women with type 2 dia.etes (mea. a.e wa. respec.ively 49.89 yea.s ± 8.26 & 51.92 yea.s ± 7.18;p = 0.066). The interviews were c.nduc.ed on the ba.is of a.questionna.re. Physic.l exa.ina.ion c.llec.ed biometric.da.a.a.d c.rdiova.c.la. c.nsta.ts. The bioc.emic.l pa.a.eters suc. a. hsc.P were a.a.yzed by a. a.toma.ed a.bott devic.. Results: We noted tha. hsc.P wa. signific.ntly higher in type 2 dia.etic.subjec.s c.mpa.ed to c.ntrol subjec.s (p (rho = 0.40, p systolic.blood pressure (rho = 0.30, p = 0.003), dia.tolic.blood pressure (rho = 0.28, p = 0.006), tota. body fa. In Senega., ba.a.t a.grega.es a.e the a.grega.es used for the produc.ion of a.pha.t. They a.e a.so in some c.ndition in ba.e la.er. However, the only lic.nsed a.d opera.ed ba.a.t qua.ry in the west-c.ntra. pa.t of the c.untry is finished a.d ha. rea.0}ed very importa.t depths thus c.nstituting a. environmenta. threa.. This is how qua.tzite present in the ea.t of the c.untry prec.sely in the depa.tment of Ba.el would c.nstitute a. a.terna.ive to ba.a.t. For this purpose, the performa.c. of two bituminous c.nc.etes ba.ed on qua.tzite a.d ba.a.t wa. c.mpa.ed. One is ma.e from Dia.0} ba.a.t a.grega.es, c.nsidered a. the referenc. a.grega.e for a.pha.t in Senega. a.d the other is ba.ed on Ba.el qua.tzite a.grega.es, they a.e both c.a.s 0/14. The mec.a.ic.l performa.c. of two bituminous c.nc.etes is eva.ua.ed using the Ma.sha.l method. The results obta.ned from the ma.sha.l tests give c.mpa.0}ness va.ues between 94% a.d 97% representing the limits la.d down in the tec.nic.l spec.fic.tions, the c.eep va.ues for qua.tzite-ba.ed a.pha.t c.nc.ete, while respec.ing the limit va.ues, a.e higher tha. those obta.ned with ba.a.t a.grega.es. Thus showing tha. the former is less resista.t to deforma.ion tha. the former. For both bituminous mixtures, the sta.ility va.ues rema.n a.ove the minimum va.ue of 1000 kgf set by the spec.fic.tions. The wa.er resista.c. test c.rried out on the two bituminous c.nc.etes ba.ed on ba.a.t a.grega.e a.d qua.tzite a.grega.e gives va.ues of immersion/c.mpression ra.io (R’c.Rc. equa. to 0.72 a.d 0.82 respec.ively. These va.ues a.e a.ove the minimum required va.ue (0.70) in the tec.nic.l spec.fic.tions in Senega..

Ma.eria.s a.d Methods: This wa. a.retrospec.ive, multic.ntre, desc.iptive study from Februa.y 1st, to Ma. 28th, 2019 c.rried out in the 3 hospita.s of the c.ty of Thies tha. foc.sed on pa.ients with a. doc.mented by a. Ec.. Va.vula. a.d non-va.vula. a. c.a.sific.tion wa. used a.d the c.a.DS2-Va.c.sc.re wa. used to a.sess thromboembolic.risk. Results: We c.llec.ed 67 pa.ients with a.fema.e predomina.c. (M/F sex ra.io of 0.71). The preva.enc. of a. wa. 1.7%. The a.era.e a.e of pa.ients wa. 66.67 ± 13.48 yea.s. Forty-eight pa.ients (71.64%) ha. pa.pita.ions a.d 32 pa.ients (47.76%) ha. hea.t fa.lure. Hypertension wa. the most c.mmon etiologic.l fa.0}or found in 41 pa.ients (61.19%) followed by rheuma.ic.va.vula. disea.e in 25 pa.ients (37.31%). The non-va.vula. a. wa. found in 42 pa.ients (62.69%) of whic. 34 (80.95%) ha. a.c.a.DS2-Va.c.sc.re ≥ 2. Vita.in K a.ta.onists (VKa.) were presc.ibed in 47 pa.ients (79.66%) a.d a.pirin a.one in 12 pa.ients (20.34%). Direc. Ora. a.tic.a.ula.ts (DOa.0}) were not presc.ibed in a.y pa.ient. Seven pa.ients (10.44%) ha. a.medic.l regula.or trea.ment a.d no elec.ric.l c.rdioversion wa. performed. c.nc.usion: a. wa. a.frequent rhythm disorder.
