In Jordan,Salvia ceratophylla L.is traditionally used in the treatment of cancer,microbial infections,and urinary disorders.This study aimed:(1)to chemically characterize S.ceratophylla essential oil(EO)from South Jordan,by gas chromatography(Gc)and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(Gc-MS);and(2)to evaluate in vitro the cytotoxic,anti-inflammatory,and antiprotozoal activities of the EO,it’s predominant components,and the hexane(A),ethyl acetate(B),methanol(c)and crude-methanol extracts(D).The analysis revealed that the EO has 71 compounds,with linalool(54.8%)as main constitu-ent.Only the hexane extract(A)showed some cytotoxic activity against SK-MEL,KB,BT-549,SK-OV-3,LLc-PK1 and VERO cells lines with Ic50 between 60 and>100μg/mL.The EO inhibited NO production(Ic5090μg/mL)and NF-κB activity(Ic5038μg/mL).The extracts A,B,and D inhibited NO production and NF-κB activity with Ic50 between 32 and 150μg/mL.Linalool considerably inhibited NO production(Ic5018μg/mL).The extracts tested did not exhibit antileish-manial activity.Regarding antitrypanosomal activity,the EO exhibited significant results with Ic502.65μg/mL.In conclu-sion,Jordan S.ceratophylla EO represents a rich source of linalool and bears a promising therapeutic potential for further antitrypanosomal drug development.

Objective: To evaluate the profile of the Brazilianvaginal ring user, reasons for choosing it, satisfaction, menstrual pattern, tolerability, efficacy, side effects and reasons for discontinuation. Methods: We reviewed the files of 148 users who attended the Hospital de Jacarepaguáand private clinics, between 2005 and 2011, in a total of 3107 cycles. Kaplan-Meier survival curves and regression models were used in statistical analysis. Results: The profile was: single, nulligravida, 30 years (mean) and with university education. The previous contraception used was mostly the oral hormonal contraception (75.7%). Women chose the ring for: practicality (32.4%), forgetting the pill (32.4%) and irregular vaginal bleeding (13.5%). The satisfaction degree was 80.5% (119). There were good cycle control and no pregnancies. Thirty-eight patients discontinued the use (25.7%). The main reasons were wish for pregnancy (6%), spotting (3.4%) and increased vaginal discharge (2.7%). At the end of the first year, use of the greatest reduction of continuity probability was observed (19.3%). Women with side effects were 68% less likely to be satisfied with the method than those without (p-value conclusion: Nuvaring®is an excellent contraceptiveoption due to its sefficacy, cycle control, tolerability, practicality and safety.

目的本文旨在探讨对呼吸道感染患儿家长进行相关理论和实践干预在线培训,结合患儿局部微生物监测数据、症状信息分析,以及家庭护理建议等手段,降低可以自愈、低风险呼吸道感染患儿基层就诊率的效果。方法采用在线试验研究对本项新型干预的效果进行评估。使用代表性抽样方法抽取806例母亲,让其设想其最年幼的孩子出现了鼻病毒感染的症状,并将其随机均衡分为两组:干预组先看各种与此症状相关的干预材料,然后对带孩子去看医生的意愿以及影响其意愿的因素做回答,对照组则先回答问题,然后再看干预材料。两组均对干预的效果做了评价反馈。采用小组对比、线性回归及路径分析法对数据进行分析。结果干预组母亲想带孩子去看医生的意愿低于对照组母亲[d=0.69,95%cI(0.55,0.83)]。在控制人口统计学和临床特征后,干预组母亲想带孩子去看医生的意愿仍然低于对照组母亲[b=-1.62,95%cI(-1.97,-1.30)]。路径模型分析结果显示,感染和抗生素相关知识、对症状严重性的关注以及与就医相关的社会认知对就医意愿产生了间接作用和中介作用[b=-0.33,95%c(I-0.40,-0.26)]。与何时就医相关的信息被评为最重要的干预项(227次),其次是症状信息(186次),而流行性病毒信息被评为最不重要的干预项(274次)。结论通过增长患儿家长对呼吸道感染相关知识的了解、降低其带患儿就诊动机及对不必要的资源的需求,家长带患儿去基层就医的意愿得到了有效降低。不过,具体干预项目对降低意愿的效果及其对行为结果的影响还需要进一步研究。

Small dams/reservoirs site location analysis in a semi-arid region of Mozambique

The water crisis is one of the biggest human problems in developing countries,especially in semi-arid regions where it can form an obstacle to irrigation and cultivation,cattle raising and people's survival.The construction of small dams/reservoirs are a possible solution to remediate this problem.These infrastructures must be located in suitable areas to be successful.This study aimed to find the most suitable locations for small dams/reservoirs in the Tete province region,Mozambique,which has a pronounced water deficit A Geographical Information System(GIS)based approach was used to implement a multicriteria evaluation(McE)analysis through an Analytic Hierarchical Process(AHP),which included local experts’consultation.Three main categories of suitability were identified:"Not suitable”(15%of total area),"Modestly suitable"(78%),and“Suitable"(7%).We found that 35 of the 38(92%)abandoned small dams/reservoirs were in areas classified as“Modestly suitable”confirming the robustness of our model.We also found that most of the dams/reservoirs currently operating(78%)and planned(73%)are in modestly suitable areas.This finding suggests that the decision to construct dams/reservoirs may not have considered the most critical suitability factors identified in this study.More data and/or additional criteria are required for the full understanding of finding out why so many dams/reservoirs failed before building new ones to address the population’s water needs in the region.

在过去的20年中,中国的经济发展对世界经济特别是非洲大陆已经产生了涟漪效应。直至今日,中非关系已经建立了数百年。在过去的十年中,他们之间的投资和贸易活动迅速增长。特别是在撒哈拉以南非洲地区,例如尼日利亚,南非,苏丹和安哥拉开展了大量投资,这对该地区的经济发展产生了巨大且深远的影响。通过外国直接投资（FDI）和安哥拉模式,中国在海外的投资越来越多,为了满足其日益增长的工业化需求,中国在自然资源领域的投资尤多。中国公司从安哥拉和苏丹进口石油,从中非进口木材,从赞比亚进口铜,根据统计数据显示,2018年中非贸易总额超过1850亿美元。因此,探索中国在安哥拉的外国直接投资情况,以了解安哥拉的投资障碍,法规和经济环境等现状,并了解这些历史现象产生的影响,具有重要意义。该研究以2003-2017年为样本空间,利用多元回归方法中的普通最小二乘法（OLS）,得出了中国对外国的直接投资与安哥拉的GDP增长之间的关系,以此分析中国对外国的直接投资对安哥拉经济增长的影响。研究结果显示,安哥拉的经济增长与中国的外国直接投资在99%的水平上具有显著相关性,这表明外国直接投资是经济增长的引擎。根据研究结果,本文建议,政府应放开安哥拉的对外开放政策,以消除一切贸易壁垒,例如实施任意关税;减少进出口关税和其他征费,以鼓励投资者。

目的：这项研究的目的是基于对胰头癌梗阻性黄疸患者的术后临床数据分析,就术前胆道引流和直接手术治疗相比的影响进行meta分析及系统回顾。这些数据包括术后并发症,感染,伤口感染,腹腔脓肿发生率,总死亡率及胰漏或胆漏的发生率.方法：系统搜索文献来源包括(Pubmed,Embase,Web of Science,cochrane图书馆从2000年至2015年)。对于第一次搜索,文本的关键词是“术前胆道引流”,“胰腺癌”和“梗阻性黄疸”。研究包括随机对照试验,病例对照研究,以及包括他们对胰头癌引起的梗阻性黄疸进行了术前胆道引流和直接手术比较的队列研究。结果：根据纳入标准和排除标准,十项研究被列入本研究。囊括2000年到2015年,发表的一共有2113例患者。在这些病人中,930例进行了术前胆道引流,832例直接进行早期手术治疗。早期手术组和术前胆道引流组相比,有在列入比较的亚组中没有明显异质性,除了伤口感染发生率(RR:0.94,95% cI[0.41, 2.16]),但meta分析表明伤口感染的发生率没有明显差异。在两个比较组之间,meta分析仅在腹腔脓肿的发生率上有明显的差异,并且有六项研究报告报道了这一差异(p=0.02)(RR=0.50,95% cI[0.29,0.88])。而在术后感染的发生率上(RR=0.89,95% cI[0.76,1.05]),总体感染(RR=0.57,95% cI[0.22, 1.47]),总死亡率(RR=1.22,95%cI[0.95,1.57]),伤口感染发生率(RR= 0.94,95%　cI[0.41,2.16]和胰瘘或胆漏的发病率上(RR=1.21,95%cI[0.89,1.65]没有明显差异。结论：术前胆汁引流组和直接早期手术组相比,增加了胰头癌患者腹腔脓肿的发生率。

背景药物审查可以提高处方安全性,国家健康和护理卓越研究所(NIcE)强调了让患者参与这一过程的重要性。目的探讨全科医生和药剂师对英国全科实践中进行药物审查方式的观点。设计与场所对在英格兰西南部、英格兰北部和苏格兰工作的全科医生和药剂师进行半结构式访谈并进行分析,抽样调查异质性。访谈于2017年1—10月进行。方法访谈重点在于药物审查的经验。当采访没有新的见解时,则实现数据饱和。对访谈进行专题分析。结果共采访了13名全科医生和10名药剂师。全科医生和药剂师认为药物审查可提高处方安全性。尽管受访者认为患者应该参与药物决策,但工作量的巨大压力意味着大多数药物审查都是在有限或无患者参与的情况下进行。对于一些全科医生来说,药物审查是"以最快的方式表明已经完成"。药剂师和全科医生都认为药剂师对药物的审查比全科医生更彻底,但时间效率更低,而且即使是在聘用药剂师的诊所中,很少有药剂师会定期参与药物的审查。受访者认为,继续用药比停止用药更容易,尤其是因为停药需要患者参与,这会产生额外的工作。结论诊所往往优先考虑效率(完成工作),而不是彻底性(做好工作),因此大多数药物审查很少或没有患者参与,很少停止或减少药物的使用。时间和资源限制是实施NIcE指导的重要障碍。

Here we investigate to what extent X-ray absorption(XAS)and emission(XES)spectroscopy,the oxygen-oxygen radial distribution function andσ(^1H)and a(^17O)NMR shielding can be represented by a common set of model structures of liquid water.This is done by using a Monte carlo-based fitting technique which fits the spectra based on a library of?1400 precomputed spectra and assigns weights to contributions from different model structures.These are then used to reweight the contributions from the structures in the library to reveal classes of structures that are over-or under-represented in the library.The goal is to include different experimental data sets which are sensitive to different aspects of liquid water structure and thus narrow down which types of structures must exist in the real liquid.
