Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography(ERCP) is a state of the art diagnostic and therapeutic procedure for various pancreatic and biliary problems. In spite of the well-established safety of the procedure, there is still a risk of complications such as pancreatitis, cholangitis, bleeding and perforation. Air leak syndrome has rarely been reported in association with ERCP and the optimal management of this serious conditioncan be difficult to establish. Our group successfully managed a case of air leak syndrome following ERCP which was caused by a 3cm Stapfer type I perforation in the posterolateral aspect of the second part of the duodenum and was repaired surgically. Hereby, we describe the presentation and subsequent therapeutic approach.

Coracoid fractures are usually seen with other shoulder injuries. Isolated fractures of this prominence are rare conditions. Herein we present two isolated coracoid fractures after a motorcycle accident and a fall onto the shoulder respectively. Conservative treatment with sling and passive-active shoulder exercises is accepted approach in these fractures. We also prefer conservative treatment at our cases and both of them have good results.

Truncus arteriosus is an uncommon congenital cardiac abnormality which is characterized by a single arterial trunk origin from the heart that supplies both the systemic,pulmonary and coronary *** present a preterm newborn female patient with type 2 truncusarteriosus,left superior vena cava and aberrant subclavian artery diagnosed with low dose dual-source cardiac computed tomography(CT).We discuss that low dose dual-source cardiac CT has more advantages than other imaging methods and it is an important modality for assessment of patients with conotruncal anomalies such as truncusarteriosus.

We have performed a survey using magnetotellurics at Catalca region on northwestern Turkey by the aim of investigating main features of the study area especially the Catalca *** collected magnetotelluric data at 9 stations on a single southwest-northeast *** the beginning of the process we checked the dimensionality of the data by the phase tensor ***,Groom & Bailey’s decomposition method was used to remove the distortion effects from the data and obtain a precise geoelectrical strike *** after,to obtain electrical resistivity depth models we used the algorithm developed by Ogawa and Uchida which uses ABIC and handles static shift effects during the inversion process.

Objective: To analyze the epidemiological and clinical data of patients who were admitted to ?n?nü University Turgut ?zal Medical Center Emergency Department with bites and stings between 2013 and 2015. Methods: Patients with bites and stingings who were admitted to ?n?nü University Turgut ?zal Medical Center during 2013-2015 were selected for this retrospective evaluation. We retrived the following information including age, gender, anatomic localization of the sting or bite, admission time, complaints, vital signs, length of stay, laboratory findings and hospitalization department. Pearson's chi-square test, Fisher's exact test, One-way ANOVA test and the Bonferroni correction as post hoc were used for statistical analysis. Results: The mean age of the patients was (43.51±16.90) years, and 55% were male. The most common admission reason was pain (34.7%), followed by rash (19.1%) and panic (11.6%). A total of 16.8% of the admissions occurred in July, 16.8% in August and 16.5% in June while the occurrence was the lowest in November with 1.5%. The most prevalent bites or stinging animals were scorpions (34.6%), followed by ticks (19.7%) and bees (12.9%). Antihistaminic-steroid-tetanus and analgesic-antihistaminic-steroid combinations were administered, respectively to 59.6% and 25% of the patients. The longest length of stay was (48.56±26.92) h due to snake bites. Conclusions: The community should be educated about the living areas of these animals, the seasons and hours in which they are active. Since individuals living and working in rural areas are at risk, more education should be given to them.

The objective of this research was to evaluate the effect of administering VIUSID vet powder on the productive behaviour of sows and the quality of semen of boars. Two experiments were conducted on farms in the province of Sancti Spiritus, in the central region of Cuba. One was with sows, starting 21 days before parturition until weaning, and another was with boars in directed mounting. Each sow received 10 grams of VIUSID vet powder everyday, mixed with food, from 21 days before the probable date of farrowing and until weaning （33-day lactation period）. In the boars, the treatment consisted of administering 10 grams of VIUSID vet powder with feed, once a day for 6 weeks （week 1 to 6）; from week 7 onwards, the supplement was suspended. Results showed that, supplying VIUSID vet powder significantly improved the principal post-partum productivity indicators and significantly reduced diarrhoea and administration to boars in production for 6 weeks, which has improved spermatic motility and does not affect the other variables representative of the quality of the semen.
