Parathyroid hormone(PTH) is well-known as the principal regulator of calcium homeostasis in the human body and controls bone metabolism via actions on the survival and activation of osteoblasts. The intermittent administration of PTH has been shown to stimulate bone production in mice and men and therefore PTH administration has been recently approved for the treatment of osteoporosis. Besides to its physiological role in bone remodelling PTH has been demonstrated to influence and expand the bone marrow stem cell niche where hematopoietic stem cells, capable of both self-renewal and differentiation, reside. Moreover, intermittent PTH treatment is capable to induce mobilization of progenitor cells from the bone marrow into the bloodstream. This novel function of PTH on modulating the activity of the stem cell niche in the bone marrow as well as on mobilization and regeneration of bone marrow-derived stem cells offers new therapeutic options in bone marrow and stem cell transplantation as well as in the field of ischemic disorders.

The objective of this review was to summarize the evidence concerning the benefit of varicocele treatment to improve natural fertility in subfertile males. We also analyzed the effect of varicocele treatment on conventional semen parameters and sperm functional tests. An electronic search to collect the data was performed using the PubMed/MEDLINE databases until July 2015. Data pooled from a variety of study designs indicate that varicocelectomy improves semen parameters in the majority of the treated men with clinical varicocele and abnormal semen parameters regardless of the chosen surgical method. Surgical varicocele repair was beneficial not only for alleviating oxidative stress-associated infertility but also to improve sperm nuclear DNA integrity. However, given the low magnitude of the effect size in sperm DNA integrity, further research is needed to elucidate its clinical significance. conflicting results on the effect of varicocele treatment on natural fertility seem to be due to heterogeneous study designs and, more importantly, patient selection criteria. When these issues are controlled, current evidence indicates that treatment of subclinical varicocele is not warranted, as it does not seem to improve fertility. On the contrary, fair evidence indicates that varicocele treatment should be offered to infertile patients with palpable varicocele and abnormal semen parameters. This evidence supports the current guidelines issued by the American Urological Association and European Association of Urology, which state that varicocele treatment should be offered to male partners of infertile couples presenting for evaluation with clinical varicocele and semen parameters alterations.

Degenerative musculoskeletal disorders are one of the top causes of pain and disability in the adult *** available alternatives to mitigate symptoms include conservative treatments such as the administration of pharmacological agents and an educative approach towards lifestyle *** use of certain analgesics,such as opiates and corticosteroids,delivers short term results but do not address the etiological source of pain and ***,prolonged use of such medications may cause additional ***,the demand for musculoskeletal tissue regeneration has led to an alternative approach referred to as“orthobiologics”.This alternative is based on cellular and molecular components capable of inducing and promoting tissue *** marrow(BM)aspirate(BMA)and concentrate are well-known orthobiologics used to treat musculoskeletal *** derived from the BM have been discussed in the literature;however,the lack of standardization regarding collection and processing protocols presents a challenge for generalization of study outcomes and determination of *** BM-derived orthobiologics have not yet been classified,to our knowledge,this manuscript proposes the AcH classification system,which speaks to BMA(A),BMA and concentrate(c)and hybrid(H),which combines A and *** classification proposes and describes 8 parameters that are relevant for the quality of biological *** more parameters used would imply greater characterization and complexity of the evaluation of the biological product *** AcH classification envisages a necessary contribution to the comprehension of both clinical procedures and research outcomes,ultimately ushering in a standardization of best practice.

Thermal Stability of Retained Austenite in TRIP Steel After Different Treatments

Thermal decomposition of retained austenite in TRIP steel was investigated by means of differential scanning calorimetry（DSc）.The decomposition curve was abnormal,and the decomposition temperature and the activation energy were measured by the Kissinger method,which were all higher than those in quenched *** thermal decomposition data of samples soaked in liquid nitrogen after TRIP treatment were all similar to those without additional low temperature *** indicated that there is a high thermal stability in retained austenite of the TRIP steel at low temperature,which was also proved by XRD analysis.

Two basic motivations for an upgraded JLab facility are the needs： to determine the essential nature of light-quark confinement and dynamical chiral symmetry breaking （DcSB）; and to understand nucleon structure and spectroscopy in terms of QcD＇s elementary degrees of freedom. During the next ten years a programme of experiment and theory will be conducted that can address these questions. We present a Dyson- Schwinger equation perspective on this effort with numerous illustrations, amongst them： an interpretation of string^breaking; a symmetry-preserving truncation for mesons; the nucleon＇s strangeness σ-term; and the neutron＇s charge distribution.
