Sodium-ion batteries(SIBs)have been regarded as one of the most competitive alternatives for lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)due to the abundance of sodium and comparable electrochemical characteristics of sodium to that of ***,while highly desired,developing stable anode materials remains a critical *** this work,the development of a stable anode for SIBs is reported,a poriferous nanoflake-assembled flower-like nickel tetraphosphide(PNAF-NP)with high surface area and typical mesoporous *** to the unique structure,the PANF-NP anode exhibits excellent reversible capacity of 648.34mAhg^(-1) at 0.2Ag^(-1) with a Coulombic efficiency of 98.67%,and superior cycling stability at 0.2Ag^(-1) with high retention capacity of 456.34 mAhg^(-1) and average Coulombic efficiency of 99.19%after 300 ***,the high reversible capacity of 614.43,589.49,512.66,and 432.23mAhg^(-1) is achieved at 0.5,1,2,and 5Ag^(-1),respectively,indicating the superior rate capability of the PNAF-NP *** work represents a great advancement in the field of SIBs by reporting a high-performance anode material.

This paper discusses the mathematical modeling for the mechanics of solid using the distribution theory of Schwartz to the beam bending differential Equations. This problem is solved by the use of generalized functions, among which is the well known Dirac delta function. The governing differential Equation is Euler-Bernoulli beams with jump discontinuities on displacements and rotations. Also, the governing differential Equations of a Timoshenko beam with jump discontinuities in slope, deflection, flexural stiffness, and shear stiffness are obtained in the space of generalized functions. The operator of one of the governing differential Equations changes so that for both Equations the Dirac Delta function and its first distributional derivative appear in the new force terms as we present the same in a Euler-Bernoulli beam. Examples are provided to illustrate the abstract theory. This research is useful to Mechanical Engineering, Ocean Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Aerospace Engineering.

EXPRESSION OF BCRP GENE IN THE NORMAL LUNG TISSUE AND LUNG CANCER

Objective: To investigate the expression of novel multidrug resistance transporter (BCRP gene) from human MCF-7/AdrVp breast cancer cells in normal lung tissue and non-small lung cancer tissue. Methods: RNA was extracted immediately from fresh normal lung tissue and viable tumor tissue harvested from surgically resected specimens of non-small cell lung cancer patients. cDNA of BCRP gene was prepared by RT-PCR and was then amplified by PCR. cDNA products from those specimens were transferred to blotting membrane through electrophoresis and transferring technique and southern blot hybridization was eventually performed to detect the expression of BCRP gene. Results: RNA were extracted from 8 tumor tissue alone and 12 pairs of tumor tissue and normal lung tissue harvested from the same lung. Four patients’ RNA samples with poor quality due to degrading were discarded. cDNA products of BCRP gene were obtained by RT-PCR and were then amplified by PCR in the remain 16 patients’ RNA samples. Through southern blot hybridization, BCRP gene was found to be slightly expressed in various amounts in all normal lung tissue (10/10) and only in a half of tumor tissue samples (8/16). Conclusion: BCRP gene is slightly expressed in different amount in all normal lung tissue and only in a half of tumor tissue of non-small cell lung cancer patients. It is possible to induce it’s overexpression and to develop multidrug resistance during chemotherapy if using anthracycline anticancer drugs.

The purpose of this case study paper was to identify factors that Internet Protocol stakeholders consider as standing in the way of the transition to bigger, more secure and faster internet with virtually unlimited Internet Protocol address in Cameroon and was completed in two phases. Descriptive method was followed and two study instruments were designed and implemented, namely focus group interviews and questionnaire interviews. Both instruments were validated and implemented on a sample of (6) experts for the interviews and (115) for the questionnaire. The focus group data were analyzed using a thematic analysis technique, leading to the identification of six themes including lack of policies and incentives to promote IPv6 deployment at government level, many organizations are seeing IPv6 as an issue that will only affect them in the distant future and not looking at IPv6 technology as an innovation generation opportunity. Decisions on these issues need to change if IPv6 current status in Cameroon is to change. The findings were then validated in the final phase. This involved the deployment of a survey questionnaire to collect opinions of 115 IPv6 actors working in both public and private institutions in Cameroon. The results revealed that IPv6 was not sufficiently attended to by organizations in Cameroon. The study results may be of practical use for Government IT decision makers. A further and more comprehensive research into the topic is recommended.

Tomato spotted wilt(TSW)is a serious virus disease of peanut in the United *** for TSWV resistance would be facilitated by the implementation of marker-assisted selection in breeding programs;however,genes associated with resistance have not been *** mapping is a type of genetic mapping that can exploit relationships between markers and traits in many *** objectives of this study were to examine genetic diversity and population structure in the *** mini-core collection using simple sequence repeat(SSR)markers,and to conduct association mapping between SSR markers and TSWV resistance in cultivated *** hundred and thirty-three SSR markers were used for genotyping 104 *** subpopulations,generally corresponding to botanical varieties,were classified by population structure *** mapping analysis indicated that five markers:pP GPseq5D5,GM1135,GM1991,TC23C08,and TC24C06,were consistently associated with TSW resistance by the Q,PCA,Q+K,and PCA+K *** markers together explained 36.4%of the phenotypic ***,pP GPseq5D5 and GM1991 were associated with both visual symptoms of TSWV and ELISA values with a high R^*** potential of these markers for use in a marker-assisted selection program to breed peanut for resistance to TSWV is discussed.

In 2017,China’s central government approved the national strategy to build Xiong’an New Area(XNA,100 km southwest to Beijing),which was announced as a"millennium strategy"and a"demo area"for a sustainable,modern,and innovative urban ***’an will draw in as much as$380 billion investment and is expected to help accelerate the development of the wider Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei(Jingjinji)*** this paper,present subsidence in the XNA area is investigated using InSAR observations for the first *** 24 SAR images acquired by European Space Agency’s Sentinel-1 satellites during the period from June 2017 to July 2018 suggest that in the north of Xiong County,the subsidence rate reaches up to 90 mm/y,which is highly correlated with the exploitation of geothermal *** the construction in the XNA area will significantly accelerate and its high-quality development,the InSAR findings could provide valuable information for future sustainable urban planning and underground infrastructure construction.
