The m.litary population face a unique set of risk factors that m.y increase the risk of being.diag.osed with *** brain injury(TBI)and post-traum.tic stress disorder(PTSD)have a hig.er prevalence in this g.oup in com.arison to the civilian *** delving.into the individual relationships between TBI and dem.ntia,and PTSD and dem.ntia,we are able to better explore dem.ntia in the m.litary and veteran *** there are som. inconsistencies in results,the TBI-dem.ntia association has becom. m.re widely ***-tosevere TBI has been found to increase the risk of being.diag.osed with Alzheim.r’s disease.A correlation between PTSD and dem.ntia has been established,however,whether or not it is a causal relationship rem.ins *** such as blast,com.at and chem.cal exposure m.y occur during.a deploym.nt,along.with TBI and/or PTSD diag.osis,and can im.act the risk of ***,there is a lack of literature exploring.the direct effects of deploym.nt on dem.ntia *** problem. have been observed to occur in those following.TBI,PTSD and *** sleep has been associated with possible dem.ntia *** lim.ted studies have focused on the link between sleep and dem.ntia in m.litary and veteran populations,sleep is a valuable factor to study due to its association and interconnection with other m.litary/veteran *** review aim. to inform.of various risk factors to the cog.itive health of m.litary m.m.ers and veterans:TBI,PTSD,deploym.nt,and sleep.

Attitude control and stabilization of m.cro-satellites is a nontrivial problem.due to the hig.ly nonlinear and m.ltivariable structure of the satellites'state-space *** this paper,a novel nonlinear optim.l(H-infinity)control approach is developed for this control *** dynam.c m.del of the satellite's attitude dynam.cs underg.esfirst approxim.te linearization around a tem.orary operating.point which is updated at each iteration of the control *** linearization process relies on first-order Taylor series expansion and on the com.utation of the Jacobian m.trices of the state-space m.del of the satellite's attitude *** the approxim.tely linearized description of the satellite's attitude a stabilizing.H-infinity feedback controller is *** com.ute the controller's feedback g.ins,an alg.braic Riccati equation is solved at each tim.-step of the control *** stability properties of the control schem. are proven throug. g.ape Seed Extract (<i&g.;Vitisvinifera</i&g.;) Alleviate neurotoxicity and Hepatotoxicity Induced by Lead Acetate in m.le Albino Rats

g.ape seed extracts (g.E) are very potent antioxidant and exhibit num.rous interesting.pharm.colog.c activities, including.an antioxidant property, and has been sug.ested to be of use in treatm.nt of several diseases. The present study has been undertaken to investig.te the protective and therapeutic effect of g.E ag.inst lead-induced neuro and hepatotoxicity in rat. m.le albino rats were divided into six g.oups: the 1st g.oup, rats were injected daily with saline vehicle and served as neg.tive control, the 2nd g.oup (positive control g.oup), the rats were injected (i.p.) with subacute dose (100 m.0}kg.b·w/day) of lead acetate (LA). The 3rd g.oup (protective g.oup), the rats were injected (i.p.) with LA (100 m.0}kg.b·w/day) for 7 days after treatm.nt with g.E (100 m.0}kg.b·w/day) for 3 weeks. The 4th, 5th and 6th g.oups (therapeutics g.oups), rats were injected (i.p.) with subacut dose (100 m.0}kg.b·w/day) of lead acetate for 7 days, then treated with g.E (100 m.0}kg.b·w/day) for one, two and three weeks, respectively. The level of norepinephrine (ne), dopam.ne (DA), serotonin (5-HT) and 5-hydroxyindol acetic acid (5-HIAA) were evaluated in brain reg.ons (cerebellum. brainstem. striatum. cerebral cortex, hypothalam.s and hippocam.us). The result indicated that the adm.nistration of subacute dose of LA (100 m.0}kg.day, i.p.) induce a sig.ificant decrease in ne, DA, 5-HT and 5-HIAA content in all tested brain reg.ons. Also the obtained data showed sig.ificant increase in liver enzym.s: serum.g.utam.te oxaloacetate transam.nase (g.T), serum.g.utam.te pyruvate transam.nase (g.T) and Lactate dehydrog.nase (LDH) level in g.oup 2 (positive control). There is an im.rovem.nt in neurotransm.tters content. Also the obtained data showed sig.ificant in- crease in liver enzym.s of protective (g.) and therapeutics g.oups (g., g. and g.) which received g.E com.ared with anim.l g.oup that received lead acetate (g.). Sustainable lig.ite resource planning.at Thar coalfield, Pakistan

Thar coalfield is a new coalfield in Pakistan with estim.ted lig.ite resource of m.re than 175 billion tons. Resource planning.is an essential part of the strateg.c plan for optim.l and econom.cal exploitation of Thar lig.ite. m.in objective of the present research is to assess Thar coalfield as a sing.e deposit and identify the areas suitable for surface m.ning. underg.ound m.ning.and waste dum. at Thar coalfield. The cum.lative stripping.ratio distribution m.p has been developed for Thar coalfield, covering.an area of 1691.04 km. around 12 exploratory blocks. Litholog.cal data of 693 drill holes have been used to calculate the cum.lative stripping.ratio in every borehole, which varies from.3.7 m.m.to 88.1 m.m.with an averag. value of 12.85 m.m. Cum.lative stripping.ratio is divided into six rang.s, viz： 4-6, 6-8, 8-10, 10-15, 15-20 and 〉20 m.m. Contours are dig.tized around all boreholes showing.various rang.s of stripping.ratios. From.the cum.lative stripping.ratio distribution m.p, it is concluded that 665.72 km. area, which constitutes 39.37% of the total assessed area, is suitable for surface m.ning.and 989.82 km. area, constituting.58.53%, is appropriate for underg.ound m.ning.and outside waste dum.s. Whereas, 2.1% area is no coal zone, only suitable for outside waste dum.ing. The developed m.p of cum.lative stripping.ratio distribution m.y be used as a g.ide m.p for the preparation of m.ning.m.ster plan for Thar coalfield.

Objectives:The use of topical corticosteroids to m.nag. postoperative sinonasal sym.tom. after endoscopic skull base surg.ry (ESBS) has not been well *** quantified long.term.im.act of postoperative steroid irrig.tions (SIs) on quality of life of patients after ***:Retrospective review of patients at the University of Pennsylvania underg.ing.ESBS from.2010 to *** on patient dem.g.aphics and postoperative treatm.nt with nasal saline irrig.tion twice daily with and without dissolved steroids (m.m.tasone or budesonide) was ***,and 1‐,3‐,6‐,12‐,18‐,and 24‐m.nth postoperative Sino‐Nasal Outcom. Test (SNOT‐22) scores were ***:A total of 727 patients were assessed (53.4% m.les),with 479 patients in the no SI g.oup and 248 patients in the SI *** SNOT‐22 scores did not differ sig.ificantly (P = 0.19).1‐,3‐,6‐,12‐,18‐,and 24‐m.nth post‐op SNOT‐22 scores did not sig.ificantly differ between ***,m.m.tasone irrig.tions resulted in sig.ificantly lower postoperative 2‐year SNOT‐22 scores com.ared to budesonide (P ne (P = 0.03).Conclusions:Thoug. corticosteroid irrig.tions are routine in m.nag.ng.inflam.atory sinus disease,their role in postoperative m.nag.m.nt after ESBS for tum.rs is *** finding. sug.est that m.m.tasone irrig.tion m.y be effective at im.roving.postoperative quality of life in patients after ESBS.

The joint European Space Ag.ncy and Chinese Academ. of Sciences Solar wind m.g.etosphere Ionosphere Link Explorer(Sm.LE)m.ssion will explore g.obal dynam.cs of the m.g.etosphere under varying.solar wind and interplanetary m.g.etic field conditions,and sim.ltaneously m.nitor the auroral response of the Northern Hem.sphere *** these larg.-scale responses with m.dium.and fine-scale m.asurem.nts at a variety of cadences by additional g.ound-based and space-based instrum.nts will enable a m.ch g.eater scientific im.act beyond the orig.nal g.als of the Sm.LE ***,we describe current com.unity efforts to prepare for Sm.LE,and the benefits and context various experim.nts that have explicitly expressed support for Sm.LE can offer.A dedicated g.oup of international scientists representing.m.ny different experim.nt types and g.og.aphical locations,the g.ound-based and Additional Science Working.g.oup,is facilitating.these *** include constructing.an online Sm.LE Data Fusion Facility,the discussion of particular or special m.des for experim.nts such as coherent and incoherent scatter radar,and the consideration of particular observing.strateg.es and spacecraft *** anticipate g.owing.interest and com.unity eng.g.m.nt with the Sm.LE m.ssion,and we welcom. novel ideas and insig.ts from.the solar-terrestrial com.unity.
