Evaluation of stability and functionality of BaCe_(1−x)In_(x)O_(3−δ) electrolyte in a wider range of indium concentration

The properties of BaCe_(1−x)In_(x)O_(3−δ) (x = 0.05, 0.10, 0.15, 0.20, _(0.25), 0.30, 0.35, and 0.40) as proton conducting electrolyte are examined. The dense electrolyte is formed after sintering at 1300 ℃ for 5 h in air. The samples with In content ≥ 25 mol% contain In_(2)O_(3) as a secondary phase. The highest total conductivity is around 5×10^(−3) S/cm for BaCe_(0.75)In_(0.25)O_(3−δ) in the wet hydrogen atmosphere at 700 ℃. After exposure to pure CO_(2) atmosphere at 700 ℃ for 5 h, the concentrations of at least 15 mol% In can completely suppress degradation of the electrolyte. The power density of Ni-BaCe_(0.75)In_(0.25)O_(3−δ)/BaCe_(0.75)In_(0.25)O_(3−δ)/LSCF-BaCe_(0.75)In_(0.25)O_(3−δ) fuel cell tested in wet hydrogen atmosphere reaches 264 mW/cm2 at 700 ℃. This result is an indication of stability and functionality of this electrolyte and its versatility in respect to type of fuel and performing environment.

This paper deals with the problem of labeling the vertices, edges and faces of a plane graph. A weight of a face is the sum of the label of a face and the labels of the vertices and edges surrounding that face. In a super d-antimagic labeling the vertices receive the smallest labels and the weights of all s-sided faces constitute an arithmetic progression of difference d, for each s appearing in the graph. The paper examines the existence of such labelings for plane graphs containing a special Hamilton path.

Computational fluid dynamics （CFD） modeling of the complex processes that occur within the burner of a gas turbine engine has become a critical step in the design process. However, due to computer limitations, it is very difficult to completely couple the fluid mechanics solver with the full combustion chemistry. Therefore, simplified chemistry models are required, and the topic of this research was to provide reduced chemistry models for CH4/O2 gas turbine flow fields to be integrated into CFD codes for the simulation of flow fields of natural gas-fueled burners. The reduction procedure for the CH4/O2 model utilized a response modeling technique wherein the full mechanism was solved over a range of temperatures, pressures, and mixture ratios to establish the response of a particular variable, namely the chemical reaction time. The conditions covered were between 1000 and 2500 K for temperature, 0.1 and 2 for equivalence ratio in air, and 0.1 and 50 atm for pressure. The kinetic time models in the form of ignition time correlations are given in Arrhenius-type formulas as functions of equivalence ratio, temperature, and pressure; or fuel-to-air ratio, temperature, and pressure. A single ignition time model was obtained for the entire range of conditions, and separate models for the low-temperature and high-temperature regions as well as for fuel-lean and rich cases were also derived. Predictions using the reduced model were verified using results from the full mechanism and empirical correlations from experiments. The models are intended for （but not limited to） use in CFD codes for flow field simulations of gas turbine combustors in which initial conditions and degree of mixedness of the fuel and air are key factors in achieving stable and robust combustion processes and acceptable emission levels. The processes of nucleation and growth of lead from the dilute electrolytes on copper substrates were investigated bychronoamperometry and by scanning electron microscopic (SEM) analysis of the deposits obtained in the potentiostatic regime ofelectrolysis. In the dependence of electrodeposition conditions, the nucleation of Pb followed either progressive or instantaneoustype. The type of nucleation changed from progressive to instantaneous one with increasing the concentration of Pb(II) ions and theoverpotential of electrodeposition. regardless of the type nucleation, a novel type of Pb particles like cobweb was formed by thepotentiostatic electrodeposition in the moment of nucleation and at the early stages of growth. On the basis of the shape ofcobweb-like particles and the electrodeposition conditions leading to their formation, these particles were situated in the group ofspongy-like ones. Also, comparative morphological analysis of Pb deposits obtained in the conditions of progressive andinstantaneous nucleation confirmed the existence of two limiting types of nucleation.

信息技术的发展使人们能够收集和处理大量的个人数据,如犯罪记录、购物习惯、信用和医疗历史以及驾驶记录。这些信息无疑在许多领域,如医疗研究、法律实施和国家安全方面等非常有用。但是,个人隐私问题正在日益被关注,隐私普遍问题被认为是个人关于自己信息的一种控制。数据挖掘技术的出现重新引发了以下的隐私问题:个人信息的二次使用;处理错误的信息;对个人信息的深入访问。凡此种是表明了现存的法律隐私和政策远远落后于技术的发展,并不再能提供足够的保护。因此,文章从数据挖掘的角度对隐私问题提出了新的挑战。
