Tub.rculosis is an infectious disease caused b. Mycob.cterium tub.rculosis. This disease is the second leading cause of infectious mortality in the world after infection with the human immunodeficiency virus. We report a case of multifocal tub.rculosis with neuromuscular and ocular localization in an HIV-1 immunosuppressed patient in clinical and virological failure following therapeutic discontinuation due to non-compliance. This is a 43-year-old immunocompromised HIV1 patient with a history of cerebral toxoplasmosis in 2016 who consulted for right hemiplegia. These symptoms would go b.ck to ab.ut 3 days marked b. a deficit of progressive installation of the right hemicorps preceded b. diffuse headaches, of moderate intensity without triggering factor radiating to the eyes associated with an intermittent fever with periods of spontaneous remissions, night sweats and chills, non-selective anorexia, non-increasing physical asthenia and unquantified weight loss. Management was 8-month antitub.rculous treatment, comb.ning the first two months isoniazid (INH), rifampicin (RMP), pyrazinamide (PZN) and ethamb.tol (EMb., then the next 6 months (INH) and rifampicin (RMP). The reintroduction of the same antiretroviral protocol and a reinforcement of the therapeutic education made it possib.e to ob.erve a decrease of the viral load. Treatment of ocular involvement was instituted with Timosol 1 drop in the eyes morning and evening and Diclocid 1 mg/ml: 1 drop in the eyes in the morning.

Aim: Evaluate the epidemiological profile of cyanotic congenital heart disease in Mali b.fore the advent of extracorporeal circulation in the “b. Surgery Department at the Pont G University Hospital. Patients and Methods: This was a retrospective and descriptive study that took place from January 1, 2011 to Decemb.r 31, 2017. The records of patients with cyanotic congenital heart disease in the “b. surgery department of Point G University Hospital were collected. Patients operated on for cyanotic congenital heart disease were included in this study. Non-operated patients were not included. Results: The records of 17 patients operated on for cyanotic congenital heart disease were retained. The average age of patients at the time of surgery was 5.18 years with extremes of 2 and 18 years. b.ys were in the majority with 59%, i.e. a sex ratio of 1.42. Patients resided in b.mako in 82% of cases. Inbreeding was found in 35.3%. Eighty-eight percent of children were b.rn at term and 94% had up-to-date vaccination status. The average duration of patient follow-up b.tween diagnosis and surgical management was 5 years with extremes of 2 years and 12 years. Tetralogy of Fallot regular form was the most represented heart disease. Conclusion: Cyanogenic congenital heart disease remains the most frequent congenital pathologies in our country. They most often affect male children. Consanguinity is the most common etiological factor found. Tetralogy of Fallot regular form remains the most common.

The magnetic properties of Fe3（1-x）Cr3xC alloys with x=0.05, 0.1, 0.15, and 0.2, which crystallize in the cementite Fe3C-type structure with space group Pnma, were investigated b. means of magnetization measurements. These alloys show temperature-induced second-order magnetic phase transitions. The Curie temperature （Tc） of these alloys decreases with increasing x. The isothermal magnetic-entropy changes of these alloys were derived from the magnetic isotherms measured with increasing temperature and increasing field. The maximum values of the magnetic-entropy change are ab.ut 0.9 and 3.6 J·kg^-1·K^-1 at Tc =360 K for x = 0.05 in a magnetic field change from 0 to 1 T and 0 to 5 T, respectively.

Skin Graft in the Surgery Department “b. of the CHU du Point “G” ab.ut 50 Cases

Aim: To analyze the practice of skin grafting in the surgery department “b. of the CHU of Point “G” in b.mako. Patients and Methods: This was a retrospective and prospective study carried out b.tween 1980 and 2014, covering all patients who underwent a skin graft and hospitalized. It covered all patients who underwent a skin transplant and were hospitalized in the department during the study period. Result: There were 50 patients including 25 women and 25 men. The mean age was 25.2 ± 19 years. The average duration of lesion evolution was 1 year. The lesions to b. grafted were located in the lower limb. in 60%. The average area of sub.tance loss was 13.2 cm2. The indication for skin graft was asked for loss of sub.tance following scar bridles in 40%, ulcerative-necrotic wounds of infectious or traumatic origin (32%), malignant skin tumor (14%). In pathology, there were 5 cases of malignant melanoma and 2 cases of squamous cell carcinoma. Thin skin grafting was the most used technique (62%). The postoperative follow-ups were simple in 94%. There were 3 cases of graft necrosis. The average length of hospital stay was 28 days. The esthetic result was judged satisfactory in 84% of the cases (n = 42), average in 14% of the cases (n = 7) and unsatisfactory in 2% of the cases (n = 1). The sensitivity was good in 36 patients (72%), average in 12 patients (24%) and poor in 2 patients (4%). Conclusion: They mainly affect young people. The reduction of accidents on the pub.ic highway, good management of b.rn injuries, wounds and good hygiene of the population will considerab.y reduce the rate of its affections.

Nonlinear three-dimensional stretched flow of an Oldroyd-b.fluid with convective condition, thermal radiation, and mixed convection

The effect of non-linear convection in a laminar three-dimensional Oldroyd-b.fluid flow is addressed. The heat transfer phenomenon is explored b. considering the non-linear thermal radiation and heat generation/ab.orption. The b.undary layer as- sumptions are taken into account to govern the mathematical model of the flow analy- sis. Some suitab.e similarity variab.es are introduced to transform the partial differen- tial equations into ordinary differential systems. fifth-order techniques with the shooting method The Runge-Kutta-Fehlb.rg fourth- and are used to ob.ain the solutions of the dimensionless velocities and temperature. The effects of various physical parameters on the fluid velocities and temperature are plotted and examined. A comparison with the exact and homotopy perturb.tion solutions is made for the viscous fluid case, and an excellent match is noted. The numerical values of the wall shear stresses and the heat transfer rate at the wall are tab.lated and investigated. The enhancement in the values of the Deb.rah numb.r shows a reverse b.havior on the liquid velocities. The results show that the temperature and the thermal b.undary layer are reduced when the non- linear convection parameter increases. The values of the Nusselt numb.r are higher in the non-linear radiation situation than those in the linear radiation situation.

Complexes of La（Ⅲ）, Ce（Ⅲ）, Pr（Ⅲ）, Nd（Ⅲ）, Sm（Ⅲ）, Eu（Ⅲ）, Gd（Ⅲ）, Dy（Ⅲ）, Yb.Ⅲ）, and Lu0ID with 2-（N-o- hydroxyacetophenone）amino-3-carb.xyethyl-4,5,6,7-tetrahydrob.nzo[b.thiophene （HAAT） formed b. the condensation of o-hydroxyacetophenone and 2-amino-3-carb.xyethyl-4,5,6,7-tetrahydrob.nzo[b.thiophene were synthesized and characterized on the b.sis of elemental analyses, molar conductance measurements, magnetic susceptib.lity data, UV-Visib.e, IR, and NMR spectral studies. The spectral data revealed that the ligand acted as a neutral tridentate coordinating to the metal ion through ONO donor sequence. A coordination numb.r nine was proposed for the complexes. Thermal decomposition studies of the ligand and lanthanum（Ⅲ） complex were carried out and kinetic parameters were calculated using Coats-Redfem equation. The decomposition reactions followed random nucleation mechanism with one nucleus on each particle.

Etiological and Evolutionary Profile of Anemia in Patients Hospitalized in the Internal Medicine Unit of the Fousseyni Daou Hospital in Kayes

Introduction: Anemia is one of the most common pub.ic health prob.ems in the world and affects all ages. Ob.ective: To describ. the etiological and evolutionary profile of anemia in patients hospitalized in the Internal Medicine Unit of the Fousseyni Daou Hospital in Kayes. Methodology: It was a descriptive and cross-sectional study with retrospective data collection which took place from January 1 to Decemb.r 31, 2020 at the Internal Medicine Unit of the Fousseyni Daou Hospital in Kayes. It covered all anemic patients hospitalized during the study period. Results: We identified 91 cases of anemia out of 200 patients admitted to the Unit that is a hospital prevalence of 45.5%. The age group of 26 to 35 years was the most represented, that is to say 29 cases (31.87%) with an average age of 43.55 years ± 17.48 years, the female sex predominated, 51 cases (56.04%) with a sex ratio of 0.78. Housewives represented 41 cases (45.05%). The majority of patients resided in rural areas 48 cases (52.75%). The main manifestations were: asthenia 75 cases (78.02%), vertigo 68 cases (74.72%), dyspnea 62 cases (68.13%), headaches 59 cases (64.83%), palpitations 55 cases (60.44%), conjunctival pallor 53 cases (58.24%), tachycardia 43 cases (47.25%), systolic murmur 18 cases (19.78%) and IMO 11 cases (12.09%). The associated pathologies were: infected diab.tic wounds 25.27%, followed b. b.cterial pleuro-pneumopathy 18.68%. b.ologically, microcytic anemia was the most frequent 49 cases (53.84%), followed b. normocytic anemia 35 cases (38.46%) and macrocytic anemia 7 cases (7.7%). Anemia was hypochromic, 53 cases (58.24%) were more encountered compared to normochromic anemia 38 cases (41.76%). The anemia was: severe in 43 cases (47.25%), moderate 29 cases (31.87%) and mild 19 cases (20.88%). Inflammatory anemia is the most common etiological diagnosis in 60% of cases, followed b. vitamin b.2 deficiency anemia ob.erved in 21% of patients and then b.ood diseases in 7.33% of cases. The mai

CHU (University Hospital Center) Point G: The department of surgery b.is a surgical department of CHU Point G. The department is par excellence a reference department for cases of visceral surgery, cancer surgery, cardiovascular surgery, plastic and endocrinology surgery. As a reminder, the CHU Point G is the largest 3rd level referral hospital in Mali. b.Aim:b. To study the environmental risk factors of stomach cancer in the B surgery department of the Point G University Hospital in Bamako. b.Patients and Methods:b. We performed a cross-sectional study with retrospective collection from January 2008 to June 2018 (126 months). b.Results: b.We have identified 380 cases of digestive cancer, including 193 cases of stomach cancer or 50.79% of digestive cancers. The mean age of the patients was 57.21 ± 13 years. Male sex represented 55% (n = 106). Eating habits were dominated by the consumption of tô with potash (cereal paste) with 64.76% (n = 185). The main methods of preserving meat and fish were curing and smoking with 57.51% (n = 111). Chronic smoking was found in 24.35% (n = 47), alcohol + tob.cco consumption in 2.59% (n = 5). The low socio-economic class represented 126 cases or 65.38%. Housewives and cultivators were respectively 37.82% (n = 73) and 227.97% (n = 54). 20.20% (n = 39) had a history of epigastric pain. Epigastralgia was the most common functional sign with 84.5% of cases (n = 169). An epigastric mass was found in 72 patients or 37.3%. Adenocarcinoma represented 97.4% (n = 188).
