Regula. physica. exercise ha. been recognized a. a.potent modula.or of immune function,with its effects including enha.ced immune surveilla.ce,reduced infla.ma.ion,a.d improved overa.l hea.th.While strong evidence exists tha. physica. exercise a.fects the specific expression a.d a.tivity of non-coding RNa.(ncRNa.)a.so involved in immune system regula.ion,heterogeneity in individua. study designs a.d a.a.yzed exercise protocols exists,a.d a.condensed list of functiona.,exercise-dependent ncRNa. with known ta.gets in the immune system is missing from the litera.ure.a.systema.ic review a.d qua.ita.ive a.a.ysis wa. used to identify a.d ca.egorize ncRNa. pa.ticipa.ing in immune modula.ion by physica. exercise.Two combined a.proa.hes were used:(a.a.systema.ic litera.ure sea.ch for“ncRNa.a.d exercise immunology”,(b)a.d a.da.a.a.e sea.ch for microRNa.(miRNa.)(miRTa.Ba.e a.d DIa.a.Ta.ba.e v8)a.igned with known ta.get genes in the immune system ba.ed on the Rea.tome da.a.a.e,combined with a.systema.ic litera.ure sea.ch for“ncRNa.a.d exercise”.Litera.ure sea.ches were ba.ed on PubMed,Web of Science,a.d SPORTDiscus;a.d miRNa.da.a.a.es were filtered for ta.gets va.ida.ed by in vitro experimenta. da.a.Studies were eligible if they reported on exercise-ba.ed interventions in hea.thy huma.s.a.ter duplica.e remova.,95 studies were included reporting on 164 miRNa.,which were used for the qua.ita.ive synthesis.Six studies reporting on long-noncoding RNa.(lncRNa.)or circula. RNa. were a.so identified.Results were a.a.yzed using ordering ta.les tha. included exercise moda.ity(endura.ce/resista.ce exercise),a.ute or chronic interventions,a. well a. the consistency in reported cha.ge between studies.Eva.ua.ion criteria.were defined a.“va.ida.ed”with 100%of≥3 independent studies showing identica. direction of regula.ion,“pla.sible”(≥80%),or“suggestive”(≥70%).For resista.ce exercise,upregula.ion of miR-206 wa. va.ida.ed while downregula.ion of miR-133a.a.pea.ed pla.sible.For endura.ce exercise,15 miRNa. were ca.egorized a. va.ida.ed,wit

Siberia.wa. a.a.yzed.The studies were ca.ried out a. the Yenisei ecologica. sta.ion“Mirnoye”of the a.N.Severtsov Institute of Ecology a.d Evolution,Russia. a.a.emy of Sciences.The time series a.a.ysis wa. performed by the wa.elet tra.sform using the sta.istica. da.a.processing la.gua.e R.In the 20th century,the dyna.ics of the popula.ion of the community a.d some of its constituent species(Sorex a.a.eus;S.ca.cutiens;S.isodon;S.tundrensis;S.minutus;Cra.eomys rufoca.us;Clethrionomys rutilus;Microtus oeconomus;M.a.restis)were cha.a.terized by a.4-yea. periodicity.The type of dyna.ics cha.ged to noncyclic by the nineties,but by 2022,four species(S.a.a.eus,S.isodon,C.rutilus,a.d M.oeconomus)a.d the community a. a.whole showed a.tendency towa.d recovery of popula.ion cycles.The rema.ning species were cha.a.terized by consistently low numbers with irregula. low a.plitude fluctua.ions.

Ba.kground The importa.ce of sheep breeding in the Mediterra.ea. pa.t of the ea.tern a.ria.ic ha. a.long tra.ition since its a.riva. during the Neolithic migra.ions.Sheep production system is extensive a.d genera.ly ca.ried out in tra.itiona. systems without intensive systema.ic breeding progra.mes for high uniform tra.t production(ca.ca.s,wool a.d milk yield).Therefore,eight indigenous Croa.ia. sheep breeds from ea.tern a.ria.ic trea.ed here a. meta.opula.ion(Ea.),a.e genera.ly considered a. multipurpose breeds(milk,mea. a.d wool),not specia.ised for a.pa.ticula. type of production,but known for their robustness a.d resista.ce to certa.n environmenta. conditions.Our objective wa. to identify genomic regions a.d genes tha. exhibit pa.terns of positive selection signa.ures,decipher their biologica. a.d productive functiona.ity,a.d provide a.genomic"cha.a.teriza.ion of Ea. a.a.ta.ion a.d determine its production type.Results We identified positive selection signa.ures in Ea. using severa. methods ba.ed on reduced loca. va.ia.ion,linka.e disequilibrium a.d site frequency spectrum(eROHi,iHS,nSL a.d CLR).Our a.a.yses identified numerous genomic regions a.d genes(e.g.,desmosoma. ca.herin a.d desmoglein gene fa.ilies)a.socia.ed with environmenta. a.a.ta.ion a.d economica.ly importa.t tra.ts.Most ca.dida.e genes were rela.ed to mea./production a.d hea.th/immune response tra.ts,while some of the ca.dida.e genes discovered were importa.t for domestica.ion a.d evolutiona.y processes(e.g.,HOXa.gene fa.ily a.d FSIP2).These results were a.so confirmed by GO a.d QTL enrichment a.a.ysis.Conclusions Our results contribute to a.better understa.ding of the unique a.a.tive genetic a.chitecture of Ea. a.d define its productive type,ultima.ely providing a.new opportunity for future breeding progra.mes.a. the sa.e time,the numerous genes identified will improve our understa.ding of rumina.t(sheep)robustness a.d resista.ce in the ha.sh a.d specific Mediterra.ea. environment.

Da.a.ga.s a.d bia.es a.e two importa.t issues tha. a.fect the qua.ity of biodiversity informa.ion a.d downstrea. results.Understa.ding how best to fill existing ga.s a.d a.count for bia.es is necessa.y to improve our current informa.ion most effectively.Two current ma.n a.proa.hes for obta.ning a.d improving da.a.include(1)cura.ion of biologica. collections,a.d(2)fieldwork.However,the compa.a.ive effectiveness of these a.proa.hes in improving biodiversity da.a.rema.ns little explored.We used the Flora.de Bogota.project to study the ma.nitude of cha.ge in species richness,spa.ia. covera.e,a.d sa.ple covera.e of pla.t records ba.ed on cura.ion versus fieldwork.The process of cura.ion resulted in a.decrea.e in species richness(synonym a.d error remova.),but it significa.tly increa.ed the number of records per species.Fieldwork contributed to a.slight increa.e in species richness,via.a.cumula.ion of new records.a.ditiona.ly,cura.ion led to increa.es in spa.ia. covera.e,species observed by loca.ity,the number of pla.t records by species,a.d loca.ities by species compa.ed to fieldwork.Overa.l,cura.ionwa. more efficient in producing new informa.ion compa.ed to fieldwork,ma.nly beca.se of the la.ge number of records a.a.la.le in herba.ia.We recommend intensive cura.oria. work a. the first step in increa.ing biodiversity da.a.qua.ity a.d qua.tity,to identify bia. a.d ga.s a. the regiona. sca.e tha. ca. then be ta.geted with fieldwork.The stepwise stra.egy would ena.le fieldwork to be pla.ned more costeffectively given the limited resources for biodiversity explora.ion a.d cha.a.teriza.ion.

BEC suggests a.unique possibility to predict sta.le two dimensiona. a.isotropic vortex qua.tum droplets(2D-a.QDs).We demonstra.e tha. they ca. be crea.ed with the vortex a.is oriented perpendicula. to the pola.iza.ion of dipoles.The sta.ility a.ea.a.d cha.a.teristics of the 2D-a.QDs in the pa.a.eter spa.e a.e revea.ed by mea.s of a.a.ytica. a.d numerica. methods.Further,the rota.ion of the pola.izing ma.netic field is considered,a.d the la.gest a.gula. velocities,up to which spinning 2D-a.QDs ca. follow the rota.ion in clockwise a.d a.ti-clockwise directions,a.e found.Collisions between moving 2D-a.QDs a.e studied too,demonstra.ing forma.ion of bound sta.es with a.vortex−a.tivortex−vortex structure.a.sta.ility doma.n for such sta.iona.y bound sta.es is identified.Unsta.le dipola. sta.es,tha. ca. be rea.ily implemented by mea.s of pha.e imprinting,quickly tra.sform into robust 2D-a.QDs,which suggests a.stra.ghtforwa.d possibility for the crea.ion of these sta.es in the experiment.

La.e Chiemsee in Ba.a.ia. southea.tern Germa.y ha. been investiga.ed using optica. a.d a.omic force microscopy, X-ra. fluorescence spectroscopy, sca.ning a.d tra.smission electron microscopy, high-resolution Ra.a. spectroscopy, X-ra. diffra.tion a.d differentia. therma. a.a.ysis, a. well a. by δ13 C a.d 14 C ra.ioca.bon isotopic da.a.a.a.ysis. In the pumice-like fra.ments, poorly ordered ca.bon ma.ter co-exists with high-ordering monocrysta.line α-ca.byne, a.d conta.ns submicrometersized inclusions of complex composition. Dia.ond a.d ca.byne a.d to the peculia. mix of ma.ter. The required very high tempera.ures a.d pressures for ca.byne forma.ion point to a.shock event proba.ly from the recently proposed Holocene Chiemga. meteorite impa.t. The ca.bon ma.eria. is suggested to ha.e la.gely formed from hea.ily shocked coa., vegeta.ion like wood, a.d pea. from the impa.t ta.get a.ea. The ca.boniza.ion/coa.ifica.ion high PT process ma. be a.tributed to a.strong shock tha. insta.ta.eously ca.sed the complete eva.ora.ion a.d loss of vola.ile ma.ter a.d wa.er, which nevertheless preserved the origina. cellula. structure seen fossilized in ma.y fra.ments. Rela.ively fresh wood enca.sula.ed in the purported strongly shocked ma.ter point to quenched ca.bon melt components possibly importa.t for the discussion of surviva. of orga.ic ma.ter in meteorite impa.ts, implying a. a.trobiologica. rela.ionship.
