Microstructure,Mechanical Properties and Corrosion Behavior of Extruded Mg–Zn–Ag Alloys with Single-Phase Structure

Mg–Zn–Ag alloys have been extensively studied in recent years for potential biodegradable implants due to their unique mechanical properties,biodegradability and *** the present study,Mg–3Zn-x Ag（wt%,x=0.2,0.5 and0.8）alloys with single-phase crystal structure were prepared by backward extrusion at 340°*** addition of Ag element into Mg–3Zn slightly influences the ultimate tensile strength and microstructure,but the elongation firstly increases from12%to 19.8%and then decreases from 19.8%to 9.9%with the increment of Ag *** tensile yield strength,ultimate tensile strength and elongation of Mg–3Zn–0.2Ag alloy reach up to 142,234 MPa and 19.8%,respectively,which are the best mechanical performance of Mg–Zn–Ag alloys in the present *** extruded Mg–3Zn–0.2Ag alloy also possesses the best corrosion behavior with the corresponding corrosion rate of 3.2 mm/year in immersion test,which could be explained by the single-phase and uniformly distributed grain structure,and the fewer twinning.

Ferroelectric materials, characterized by the switchable spontaneous polarization(Ps) through reversing the directions of external electric field, exhibit versatile physical attributes that have been extensively used for practical device applications. Two-dimensional(2D) organic-inorganic hybrid perovskites are recently emerging as a robust family of candidate ferroelectrics, termed ferroelectric semiconductors. In particular, the coexistence and/or coupling of ferroelectric polarization with their semiconducting properties enables new physical concepts, thus providing a potential platform for the development of new multifunctional optoelectronic devices. This review primarily describes the structural origin of symmetry breaking for generating ferroelectric orders in 2D hybrid perovskites, and then presents the combination of ferroelectric Ps with other semiconducting optoelectronic activities. Regarding the emergence of new photoelectric behaviors, the prospects for this 2D family of ferroelectric semiconductors are further discussed, along with their development tendency for the future photoelectronic device applications.

herein,we report the high De-NOx performance of the A-site defective perovskite-based Pd/La_(0.5)Sr_(0.3)MnO_(3) *** formation of the defective perovskite structure can be proved by both the increased Mn^(4+)/Mn^(3+) ratio and serious lattice contraction due to cationic *** promotes the Sr doping into perovskite lattice and reduces the formation of the SrCO_(3) *** results demonstrate that below 300℃ the A-site defective perovskite can be more efficiently regenerated than the SrCO_(3) phase as NOx storage sites due to the latter’s stronger basicity,and also exhibits the higher NO oxidation ability than the A-site stoichiometric and excessive *** factors promote the lowtemperature De-NOx activity of the Pd/La_(0.5)Sr_(0.3)MnO_(3) catalyst through improving its NOx trapping ***,above 300℃,the NOx reduction becomes the determinant of the De-NOx activity of the perovskite-based catalysts.A-site defects can weaken the interactions between perovskite and Pd,inducing activation of Pd sites by in-situ transformation from PdO to metallic Pd in the alternative leanburn/fuel-rich atmospheric alternations,which boosts the De-NOx activity of the Pd/La_(0.5)Sr_(0.3)MnO_(3) *** Pd/L_(0.5)Sr_(0.3)MnO_(3) catalyst exhibits the high sulfur tolerance as *** findings provide insight into optimizing the structural properties and catalytic activities of the perovskite-based catalysts via tuning formulation,and have potential to be applied for various related catalyst systems.

Cubic metal-covalent-supramolecular organic framework(MCSOF-1)hybrid has been created from the reaction of two molecular components and subsequent co-assembly with cucurbit[8]uril(CB[8])in *** the presence of CB[8],[Ru(bpy)_3]^(2+)-based acylhydrazine 1·2Cl reacted with aldehyde 2·Cl to quantitatively yield six-armed precursor 3·8Cl through the generation of ***-1 combines the structural features of metal-,covalent-and supramolecular organic *** periodicity in water and in the solid state was confirmed by synchrotron X-ray scattering and diffraction ***-1could enrich discrete anionic polyoxometalates(POMs),maintain periodicity in acidic medium,and remarkably facilitate visible light-induced electron transfer from its[Ru(bpy)_3]^(2+)units to enriched POMs,leading to enhanced catalysis of the POMs for the reduction of proton to H_2in both aqueous(homogeneous)and organic(heterogeneous)media.

Although femtosecond laser microfabrication is one of the most promising three-dimensional（3D） fabrication techniques, it could suffer from low fabrication efficiency for structures with high 3D complexities. By using etching as a main assistant technique, the processing can be speeded up and an improved structure surface quality can be provided. However,the assistance of a single technique cannot satisfy the increasing demands of fabrication and integration of highly functional 3D microstructures. Therefore, a multi-technique-based 3D microfabrication method is required. In this paper, we briefly review the recent development on etching-assisted femtosecond laser microfabrication（EAFLM）. Various processing approaches have been proposed to further strengthen the flexibilities of the EAFLM. With the use of the multi-technique-based microfabrication method, 3D microstructure arrays can be rapidly defined on planar or curved surfaces with high structure qualities.

Environment matting and compositing is a technique to extract a foreground object, including color, opacity, reflec- tive and refractive properties, from a real-world scene, and synthesize new images by placing it into new environments. The description of the captured object is named environment matte. Recent matting and compositing techniques can produce quite realistic images for objects with complex optical properties. This paper presents an approximate method to transform the matte by simulating variation of the foreground object’s refractive index. Our algorithms can deal with achromatous-and-transparent ob- jects and the experimental results are visually acceptable. Our idea and method can be applied to produce some special video effects, which could be very useful in film making, compared with the extreme difficulty of physically changing an object’s refractive index.

The recently emerged double-cable conjugated polymers have come into focus due to their significantly improved power conversion efficiencies (PCEs) in single-component organic solar cells (SCOSCs). In this work, the effect of chlorination in double-cable conjugated polymers with linear benzodithiophene backbone and pendant perylene bisimide on the photovoltaic performance in SCOSCs has been studied. After introducing chlorine atoms into conjugated side chains, the highest occupied molecular orbital level of the conjugated polymers is down-shifted, thus resulting in a higher open-circuit voltage. As a result, the chlorinated double-cable conjugated polymer exhibits improved photovoltaic performance from 3.46% to 3.57%.

Si-PIN photodetectors having features such as low cost,small size,low weight,low voltage,and low power consumption are widely used as radiation detectors in electronic personal dosimeters(EPDs).The technical parameters of EPDs based on the Si-PIN photodetectors include photon energy response(PER),angular response,inherent error,and dose rate *** them,PER is a key parameter for evaluation of EPD measurement *** present,owing to the limitations of volume,power consumption,and EPD cost,the PER is usually corrected by a combination of single-channel counting techniques and filtering material ***,the above-mentioned methods have problems such as poor PER and low measurement *** solve such problems,in this study,a 1024-channel spectrometry system using a Si-PIN photodetector was developed and fullspectrum measurement in the reference radiation fields was conducted for radiation *** measurement results using the few-channel spectroscopy dose method showed that the PER could be controlled within±14%and±2%under the conditions of two and three energy intervals,respectively,with different channel *** PER measured at 0°angle of radiation incidence meets the-29%to+67%requirements of IEC 61526:***,the channel number and counts-to-dose conversion factors formed in the experiment can be integrated into an EPD.
