Methane dominated gas is one of the cleanest energy resources;however, there is no direct method to determine its source rock. Natural gases produced from the eastern Sichuan Basin together with seismic data were studied for their sources and secondary alteration by thermochemical sulfate reduction(TSR). Our results demonstrate that Upper Permian to Lower Triassic(P_(3)ch-T_(1)f) gases in the surrounding of the Kaijiang-Liangping area show volatile organic sulfur compounds(VOScs) δ^(34)S values close to those of the associated H_(2)S, and may have been altered by methane-dominated TSR, resulting in positive shift in methane δ^(13)c_(1)values with increasing TSR extents. Other(or group 2) gases produced from the P_(3)ch-T_(1)f reservoirs from the southern area and the Upper carboniferous to Middle Permian(c_(2)h-P_(2)q) from the eastern Sichuan Basin are not significantly changed by TSR, show similar δ^(34)S values between the kerogens and some VOScs, and may have been derived from the Lower Silurian and Middle Permian source rocks. This study demonstrates a case for the first time showing the δ^(34)S values of VOScs can be used as a tool for direct correlation between non-TSR altered gas and source rocks. Methane-dominated gas pools can be found using gas and source rock geochemistry combined with seismic data.

Effects of physical crust on soil detachment by overland flow in the Loess Plateau region of china

Two novel phosphors LiBa_(4(1-x))Eu_(4x)Ta_(3)O_(12)(H-LBTO:xEu^(3+)) and Li_(0.25)Ba_(1-x)Eu_(x)Ta_(0.75)O_(3)(c-LBTO:xEu^(3+))were prepared successfully by a molten salt *** transformation between these two structures was realized by changing the sintering temperature or changing the Eu^(3+) ions concentration,which was also demonstrated by the X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),diffuse reflectance spectra(DRS),and photoluminescence excitation(PLE) analyses,Both the sintering temperature and the Eu^(3+)ions doping concentration have significant impact on the formation of the crystal *** these phosphors sintered at 1023 K exhibit two major luminescence lines at 594 and 614 nm under nearUV light of 395 nm excitation,corresponding to Eu^(3+)ions typical transitions of ^(5)D_(0)→^(7)F_(1) and ^(5)D_(0)→^(7)F_(2).The optimum concentration of Eu^(3+) ions is 9 mol% for c-LBTO:xEu^(3+) samples and the quenching interaction type is the nearest-neighbor ion *** thermal stability of the c-LBTO:0.09Eu^(3+)sample was investigated in detail and the device application further suggests that c-LBTO:0.09Eu^(3+) can be used as a red phosphor for near-UV excited w-LEDs in lighting.

A signaling cascade mediating fruit trait development via phosphorylation-modulated nuclear accumulation of JAZ repressor

It is generally accepted that jasmonate-ZIM domain(JAZ)repressors act to mediate jasmonate(JA)signaling via cORONATINE-INSENSITIVE1(cOI1)-mediated ***,we report a cryptic signaling cascade where a JAZ repressor,FvJAZ12,mediates multiple signaling inputs via phosphorylation-modulated subcellular translocation rather than the cOI1-mediated degradation mechanism in strawberry(Fragaria vesca).FvJAZ12 acts to regulate flavor metabolism and defense response,and was found to be the target of Fv MPK6,a mitogen-activated protein kinase that is capable of responding to multiple signal ***6 phosphorylates FvJAZ12 at the amino acid residues S179 and T183 adjacent to the PY residues,thereby attenuating its nuclear accumulation and relieving its repression for FvMYc2,which acts to control the expression of lipoxygenase 3(FvLOX3),an important gene involved in JA biosynthesis and a diverse array of cellular *** data reveal a previously unreported mechanism for JA signaling and decipher a signaling cascade that links multiple signaling inputs with fruit trait development.

In this study,we evaluated the mass spectra of the prospective 0^(--) hidden-charm and hidden-bottom tetraquark states in molecular configuration via QcD sum *** our calculation,the nonperturbative condensate contributions are considered up to dimension eight in operator product *** is found that there could exist 4possible 0^(--) hidden-charm tetraquark states with masses(4.68±0.07),(4.22±0.09),(4.53±0.09),and(4.26±0.13) *** corresponding hidden-bottom partners are found lying at(11.04±0.10),(10.71±0.12),(11.09±0.10),and(11.82±0.14) GeV,*** possible tetraquark decay modes were analyzed,which are expected to be measured in BESⅢ,BELLEⅡ,and LHcb experiments.

Distribution and geochemical significance of alkylbenzenes for crude oil with different depositional environments and thermal maturities

A total of 45 alkylbenzenes were detected and identified in crude oils with different depositional environments and thermal maturities from the Tarim Basin,Beibuwan Basin,and Songliao Basin using comprehensive two-dimensional gas chromatography time-of-flight mass spectrometry(Gc×GcTOFMS).By analyzing the distribution characteristics of c0-c5alkylbenzenes,it is found that the content of some alkylbenzenes varies greatly in crude *** on the distribution characteristics of 1,2,4,5-tetramethylbenzene(Te MB)and 1,2,3,4-Te MB,the ratio of 1,2,4,5-Te MB to 1,2,3,4-Te MB is proposed to indicate the organic matter origin and depositional environment of ancient *** samples originated mainly from lower hydrobiont,algae,bacteria and source rocks deposited under reducing/anoxic conditions have low 1,2,4,5-/1,2,3,4-Te MB values(less than 0.6),while oil samples originated mainly from terrestrial higher plants and source rocks deposited under oxic/sub-oxic conditions have higher 1,2,4,5-/1,2,3,4-Te MB values(greater than 1.0).The significant difference of 1,2,4,5-/1,2,3,4-Te MB values is controlled by 1,2,4,5-Te MB content.1,2,4,5-Te MB content in oils derived from source rocks deposited in oxidized sedimentary environment(greater than 1.0 mg/g whole oil)is higher than that in oils from source rocks deposited in reduced sedimentary environment(less than 1.0 mg/g whole oil).1,2,4,5-/1,2,3,4-Te MB ratio might not or slightly be affected by evaporative fractionation,biodegradation and thermal maturity.1,2,4,5-/1,2,3,4-Te MB ratio and 1,2,4,5-Te MB content can be used as supplementary parameter for the identification of sedimentary environment and organic matter *** should be noted that compared to the identification of organic matter sources,the 1,2,4,5-/1,2,3,4-Te MB parameter is more effective in identifying sedimentary environments.

Projected changes in Köppen-Trewartha climate zones under 1.5-4℃global warming targets over mid-high latitudes of Northern Asia using an ensemble of RegcM4 simulations

Mid-high latitude Northern Asia is one of the most vulnerable and sensitive areas to global warming,but relatively less studied *** used an ensemble of a regional climate model(RegcM4)projections to assess future changes in surface air temperature,precipitation and Köppen-Trewartha(K-T)climate types in Northern Asia under the 1.5-4℃global warming ***4 is driven by five cMIP5 global models over an East Asia domain at a grid spacing of 25 *** of the present day(1986-2005)simulations shows that the ensembles of RegcM4(ensR)and driving GcMs(ensG)reproduce the major characters of the observed temperature,precipitation and K-T climate zones reasonably *** and more realistic spatial detail is found in RegcM4 compared to the driving GcMs.A general warming and overall increases in precipitation are projected over the region,with these changes being more pronounced at higher warming *** projected warming by ensR shows different spatial patterns,and is in general lower,compared to ensG in most months of the year,while the percentage increases of precipitation are maximum during the cold *** future changes in K-T climate zones are characterized by a substantial expansion of Dc(temperature oceanic)and retreat of Ec(sub-arctic continental)over the region,reaching∼20%under the 4℃warming *** most notable change in climate types in ensR is found over Japan(∼60%),followed by Southern Siberia,Mongolia,and the Korean Peninsula(∼40%).The largest change in the K-T climate types is found when increasing from 2 to 3℃.The results will help to better assess the impacts of climate change and in implementation of appropriate adaptation measures over the region.

Analytical solutions of equatorial geodesic motion in Kerr spacetime

The study of Kerr geodesics has a long history,particularly for those occurring within the equatorial plane,which are generally ***,when compared with the classification introduced by one of the authors[***.D 105,024075(2022)],it becomes apparent that certain classes of geodesics,such as trapped orbits,still lack analytical ***,in this study,we provide explicit analytical solutions for equatorial timelike geodesics in Kerr spacetime,including solutions of trapped orbits,which capture the characteristics of special geodesics,such as the positions and conserved quantities of circular,bound,and deflecting ***,we determine the precise location at which retrograde orbits undergo a transition from counter-rotating to prograde motion due to the strong gravitational effects near a rotating black ***,the trajectory remains prograde for orbits with negative energy despite the negative angular ***,we investigate the intriguing phenomenon of deflecting orbits exhibiting an increased number of revolutions around the black hole as the turning point approaches the turning point of the trapped ***,we find that only prograde marginal deflecting geodesics are capable of traversing through the *** summary,our findings present explicit solutions for equatorial timelike geodesics and offer insights into the dynamics of particle motion in the vicinity of a rotating black hole.

Efficient degradation of aqueous dichloromethane by an enhanced microbial electrolysis cell:Degradation kinetics,microbial community and metabolic mechanisms

Dichloromethane(DcM)has been listed as a toxic and harmful water pollutant,and its re moval needs *** electrolysis cells(MEcs)are viewed as a promising alterna tive for pollutant removal,which can be strengthened from two aspects:microbial inocula tion and *** this study,the MEc for DcM degradation was inoculated with the ac tive sludge enhanced by Methylobacterium rhodesianum H13(strain H13)and then acclimated in the form of a microbial fuel cell(MFc).Both the introduction of strain H13 and the initi ation in MFc form significantly promoted DcM *** degradation kinetics were fitted by the Haldane model,with V_(max),K_(h),K_(i)and v_(max)values of 103.2 mg/L/hr,97.8 mg/L268.3 mg/L and 44.7 mg/L/hr/cm^(2),*** cyclic voltammogram implies that DcM redox reactions became easier with the setup of MEc,and the electrochemical impedance spectrogram shows that the acclimated and enriched microbes reduced the charge transfe resistance from the electrode to the *** the biofilm,the dominant genera shifted from Geobacter to Hyphomicrobium in acclimation ***,Methylobacterium played an increasingly important *** metabolism mainly occurred through the hydrolytic glutathione S-transferase pathway,given that the gene dcmA was identified rather than the dhlA and P450/*** exogenous electrons facilitated the reduction of GSSG,directly o indirectly accelerating the GSH-catalyzed *** study provides support fo the construction of an efficient and stable MEc for DcM removal in water environment.
