Background:It is currently unclear if fibrinogen is a risk factor for adverse events in patients receiving percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)or merely serves as a marker of pre-existing comorbidities and other causal *** therefore investigated the association between fibrinogen levels and 2-year all-cause mortality,and compared the additional predictive value of adding fibrinogen to a basic model including traditional risk factors in patients receiving contemporary ***:A total of 6293 patients undergoing PCI with measured baseline fibrinogen levels were enrolied from January to December 2013 in Fuwai *** were divided into three groups according to tertiles of baseline fibrinogen levels:low fibrinogen,<2.98 g/L;medium fibrinogen,2.98 to 3.58 g/L;and high fibrinogen,≥3.58 g/*** predictors of 2-year clinical outcomes were determined by multivariate Cox proportional hazards regression *** increased discriminative value of fibrinogen for predicting all-cause mortality was assessed using the C-statistic and integrated discrimination improvement(IDI).Results:The 2-year all-cause mortality rate was 1.2%.It was significantly higher in the high fibrinogen compared with the low and medium fibrinogen groups according to Kaplan-Meier analyses(1.7%vs.0.9%and 1.7%vs.1.0%,respectively;log-rank,P=0.022).Fibrinogen was significantly associated with all-cause mortality according to multivariate Cox regression(hazard ratio 1.339,95%confidence interval:1.109-1.763,P=0.005),together with traditional risk factors including age,sex,diabetes mellitus,left ventricular ejection fraction,creatinine clearance,and low-density lipoprotein *** area under the curve for all-cause mortality in the basic model including traditional risk factors was 0.776,and this value increased to 0.787 when fibrinogen was added to the model(IDI=0.003,Z=0.140,P=0.889).Conclusions:Fibrinogen is associated with 2-year all-cause mortality in patients recei

The Bayan Obo supergiant carbonatite-related rare-earth-element-niobium-iron(REE-Nb-Fe) endogenetic deposit(thereafter as the Bayan Obo deposit), located at 150 km north of Baotou City in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is the largest rare-earth element(REE) resource in the world. Tectonically,this deposit is situated on the northern margin of the North China Craton and adjacent to the Xing’anMongolian orogenic belt to the south. The main strata within the mining area include the Neoarchean Se’ertengshan Group and the Mesoproterozoic Bayan Obo Group. Generally, the rare earth, niobium, and iron mineralization within the deposit are intrinsically related to the dolomite carbonatites and the extensive alteration of the country rocks caused by the carbonatite magma intrusion. The alteration of country rocks can be categorized into three types: contact metasomatism(anti-skarn and skarn alteration), fenitization,and hornfelsic alternation. As indicated by previous studies and summarized in this review, the multielement mineralization at Bayan Obo is closely associated with the metasomatic replacement of siliceous country rocks by carbonatite magmatic-hydrothermal fluids. The metasomatic process is comparable to the conventional skarnification that formed due to the intrusion of intermediate-acid magmatic rocks into limestone strata. However, the migration pattern of Si O2, Ca O, and Mg O in this novel metasomatic process is opposite to the skarn alteration. Accordingly, this review delineates, for the first time, an antiskarn metallogenic model for the Bayan Obo deposit, revealing the enigmatic relationship between the carbonatite magmatic-hydrothermal processes and the related iron and rare earth ***, this study also contributes to a better understanding of the REE-Nd-Fe metallogenetic processes and the related fluorite mineralization at the Bayan Obo deposit.

The solar X-ray and Extreme Ultraviolet Imager(X-EUVI),developed by the Changchun Institute of Optics,Fine Mechanics and Physics,Chinese Academy of Sciences(CIOMP),is the first space-based solar X-ray and Extreme ultraviolet(EUV)imager of China loaded on the Fengyun-3E(FY-3E)satellite supported by the China Meteorological Administration(CMA)for solar *** started work on July 11,2021,X-EUVI has obtained many solar *** instrument employs an innovative dual-band design to monitor a much larger temperature range on the Sun,which covers 0.6-8.0 nm in the X-ray region with six channels and 19.5 nm in the EUV region.X-EUVI has a field of view of 42′,an angular resolution of 2.5″per pixel in the EUV band and an angular resolution of 4.1″per pixel in the X-ray *** instrument also includes an X-ray and EUV irradiance sensor(X-EUVS)with the same bands as its imaging optics,which measures the solar irradiance and regularly calibrates the solar *** radiometric calibration of X-EUVS on the ground has been completed,with a calibration accuracy of 12%.X-EUVI is loaded on the FY-3E satellite and rotates relative to the Sun at a uniform ***-field calibration is conducted by utilizing successive rotation solar *** agreement between preliminarily processed X-EUVI images and SDO/AIA and Hinode/XRT images indicates that X-EUVI and the data processing algorithm operate properly and that the data from X-EUVI can be applied to the space weather forecast system of CMA and scientific investigations on solar activity.

We investigate high time resolution data obtained by the Gravitational wave high-energy Electromagnetic Counterpart All-sky Monitor(GECAM)during the flare event on 2022 April 21 at 01:52 *** subpeaks with durations of 4-6 s have been detected in the hard X-ray precursor phase,and the key feature is that they appear in pairs and seem like double-peak *** subpeaks are rarely observed in hard X-ray band and confirmed by the microwave obtained by Nobeyama Radio Polarimeters(NoRP)and Radio Solar Telescope Network(RSTN).While an exponential function can describe the continuum component of the time profile from the precursor to part of the impulsive *** periods of quasi-periodic pulsations(QPPs)are detected to be about 7.3 and 12.8 s for the precursor and impulsive phase,respectively,with at least 95%confidence *** paired QPPs are assumed to be double-peak QPPs and then the scenario of current loop coalescence model is found to be in good agreement with our *** precursor phase can be interpreted as the oscillating coalescence of two islands,while the impulsive phase can be interpreted as more islands to coalesce one by one to form larger islands.

Traumatic spinal cord injury is potentially catastrophic and can lead to permanent disability or even *** has the largest population of patients with traumatic spinal cord *** studies of traumatic spinal cord injury in China have mostly been regional in scope;national-level studies have been *** the best of our knowledge,no national-level study of treatment status and economic burden has been *** retrospective study aimed to examine the epidemiological and clinical features,treatment status,and economic burden of traumatic spinal cord injury in China at the national *** included 13,465 traumatic spinal cord injury patients who were injured between January 2013 and December 2018 and treated in 30 hospitals in 11 provinces/municipalities representing all geographical divisions of *** epidemiological and clinical features,treatment status,and total and daily costs were *** in the percentage of traumatic spinal cord injuries among all hospitalized patients and among patients hospitalized in the orthopedic department and cost of care were assessed by annual percentage change using the Joinpoint Regression *** percentage of traumatic spinal cord injuries among all hospitalized patients and among patients hospitalized in the orthopedic department did not significantly change overall(annual percentage change,-0.5%and 2.1%,respectively).A total of 10,053(74.7%)patients underwent *** 2.8%of patients who underwent surgery did so within 24 hours of injury.A total of 2005(14.9%)patients were treated with high-dose(≥500 mg)methylprednisolone sodium succinate/methylprednisolone(MPSS/MP);615(4.6%)received it within 8 *** total cost for acute traumatic spinal cord injury decreased over the study period(-4.7%),while daily cost did not significantly change(1.0%increase).Our findings indicate that public health initiatives should aim at improving hospitals’ability to complete early surgery within 24 ho

AIM: To explore Chinese physicians' perceptions towards fecal microbiota transplantation(FMT) and to provide information and an assessment of FMT development in ***: A self-administered questionnaire was developed according to the FMT practice guidelines and was distributed to physicians in hospitals via Internet Research Electronic Data Capture(REDcap) software and electronic mails to assess their attitudes toward and knowledge of FMT. The questionnaire included a brief introduction of FMT that was followed by 20 questions. The participants were required to respond voluntarily, under the condition of anonymity and without compensation. Except for the fill-in-the-blank questions, all of the other questions were required in the REDcap data collection systems, and the emailed questionnaires were completed based on ***: Up to December 9, 2014, 844 eligible questionnaires were received out of the 980 distributed questionnaires, with a response rate of 86.1%. Among the participants, 87.3% were from tertiary hospitals, and there were 647(76.7%) gastroenterologists and 197(23.3%) physicians in other departments(nongastroenterologists). Gastroenterologists' awareness of FMT prior to the survey was much higher than non-gastroenterologists'(54.3 vs 16.5%, P bined with Clostridium difficile infection(78.6%), refractory ulcerative colitis(70.9%), ulcerative colitis(65.4%), Crohn's disease(59.4%), chronic constipation(43.7%), irritable bowel syndrome(39.1%), obesity(28.1%) and type 2 diabetes(23.9%). A Multicenter, Randomized, Double-Blind, and Placebo-Controlled Study of the Effects of Tongxinluo Capsules in Acute Coronary Syndrome Patients with High On-Treatment Platelet Reactivity

Background： High platelet reactivity （HPR） during clopidogrel treatment predicts postpercutaneous coronary intervention （PCI） ischemic events strongly and independently. Tongxinluo capsules （TCs） are a traditional Chinese medicine formulation used as antiplatelet treatment. However, its efficacy against HPR is not known. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the effects of TCs in acute coronary syndrome （ACS） patients with HPR. Methods： This multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study prospectively analyzed 136 ACS patients with HPR who underwent PCI. The patients were enrolled from November 2013 to May 2014 and randomized to receive placebo or TCs in addition to standard dual antiplatelet therapy （DAPT） with aspirin and clopidogrel. The primary end points were the prevalence of HPR at 30 days and the mean change in P2YIz reaction units （PRUs） between baseline and 30 days. Survival curves were constructed with Kaplan-Meier estimates and compared by log-rank tests between the two groups. Results： Both groups had a significantly reduced prevalence of HPR at 30 days versus baseline, but the TC group, compared with the placebo group, had greater reduction （ 15.8% vs. 24.8%, P = 0.013）, especially among patients with one cytochrome P450 2C 19 loss of function （LOF） allele （χ2 = 2.931, P = 0.047）. The TC group also had a lower prevalence of HPR （33.3% vs. 54.2%, t - 5.284, P 0.022） and superior performance in light transmittance aggregometry and higher levels of high-sensitivity C-reactive protein （hsCRP）, but the composite prevalence ofischemic events did not differ significantly （χ2 = 1.587, P = 0.208）. Conclusions： In addition to standard DAPT with aspirin and clopidogrel, TCs further reduce PRU and hsCRP levels, especially in patients carrying only one LOF allele. The data suggest that TCs could be used in combination therapy for ACS patients with HPR undergoing PCI.

Resonant Auger Scattering by Attosecond X-Ray Pulses

As x-ray probe pulses approach the subfemtosecond range,conventional x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)is expected to experience a reduction in spectral resolution due to the effects of the pulse ***,in the case of resonant x-ray photoemission,also known as resonant Auger scattering(RAS),the spectroscopic technique maintains spectral resolution when an x-ray pulse is precisely tuned to a core-excited *** present theoretical simulations of XPS and RAS spectra on a showcased CO molecule using ultrashort x-ray pulses,revealing significantly enhanced resolution in the RAS spectra compared to XPS,even in the subfemtosecond *** findings provide a novel perspective on potential utilization of attosecond x-ray pulses,capitalizing on the well-established advantages of detecting electron signals for tracking electronic and molecular dynamics.
