The corrosion behavior and mechanism of 3Ni weathering steel in a simulated oceanic atmospheric environment are investigated in order to comprehend the impacts of La,as determined through electrochemical analysis and rust layer characterization.The results of this study demonstrate that the addition of La enhances the corrosion resistance of 3Ni weathering steel in the marine atmospheric environment,thereby reducing the corrosion rate and improving the protection of the rust layer.The influence of La on corrosion resistance can be attributed to two primary factors.Firstly,La functions as a grain refiner,minimizing the potential difference of the micro-regions on the substrate surface,thereby significantly reducing the corrosion of bare steel in the marine environment.Secondly,La inhibits the process of Fe_(3)O_(4) oxidation back toγ-FeOOH during corrosion at the local site,thus decreasing the formation ofγ-FeOOH and enhancing the charge transfer resistance.This research work may serve as a reference for expanding the application of rare earth elements in the field of weathering steel.

●AIM:To evaluate the role of semaphorin 7A(Sema7A)and its associated regulatory mechanisms in modulating the barrier function of cultured human corneal epithelial cells(HCEs).●METHODS:Barrier models of HCEs were treated with recombinant human Sema7A at concentrations of 0,125,250,or 500 ng/mL for 24,48,or 72h in vitro.Transepithelial electrical resistance(TEER)as well as Dextran-fluorescein isothiocyanate(FITC)permeability assays were conducted to assess barrier function.To quantify tight junctions(TJs)such as occludin and zonula occludens-1(ZO-1)at the mRNA level,reverse transcriptionpolymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR)analysis was performed.Immunoblotting was used to examine the activity of the nuclear factor-kappa B(NF-κB)signaling pathway and the production of TJs proteins.Immunofluorescence analyses were employed to localize the TJs.Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)and RT-PCR were utilized to observe changes in interleukin(IL)-1βlevels.To investigate the role of NF-κB signaling activation and IL^(-1)βin Sema7A’s anti-barrier mechanism,we employed 0.1μmol/L IκB kinase 2(IKK2)inhibitor IV or 500 ng/mL IL^(-1)receptor(IL-1R)antagonist.●RESULTS:Treatment with Sema7A resulted in decreased TEER and increased permeability of Dextran-FITC in HCEs through down-regulating mRNA and protein levels of TJs in a time-and dose-dependent manner,as well as altering the localization of TJs.Furthermore,Sema7A stimulated the activation of inhibitor of kappa B alpha(IκBα)and expression of IL-1β.The anti-barrier function of Sema7A was significantly suppressed by treatment with IKK2 inhibitor IV or IL-1R antagonists.●CONCLUSION:Sema7A disrupts barrier function through its influence on NF-κB-mediated expression of TJ proteins,as well as the expression of IL-1β.These findings suggest that Sema7A could be a potential therapeutic target for the diseases in corneal epithelium.

A novel integrated film of sulfonated polysulfone/graphene/potassium copper ferricyanide(KCuFC/SPSG)was used for selectively extracting rubidium ion(Rb^(+))from brine.To form KCuFC/SPSG,the precursor film of sulfonated polysulfone/graphene(SPSG)was synthesized by phase conversion process,which was alternately immersed in 0.1 mol·L^(-1)CuSO_(4)/K_(4)[Fe(CN)_(6)]by in-situ adsorption coupled co-precipitation method.Various data such as nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometer,Fourier transform infrared spectroscope,X-ray photoelectron spectroscope,X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscope,and energy dispersive spectroscopy all verified that abundant KCuFC were uniformly located on the film.The resulting KCuFC/SPSG was used in film separation system.As the solution was fed into the system,the Rb^(+)could be selectively adsorption by KCuFC/SPSG.After the saturation adsorption,0.5 mol·L^(-1)NH_(4)Cl/HCl was fed into the film cell,Rb^(+)could be quickly desorbed by ion-exchange between Rb^(+)and NH_(4)^(+)in the lattice of KCuFC.The purpose of separating and recovering Rb^(+)from the brine can be achieved after the repeated operation.The effects of pH,adsorption time,and interferential ions on the adsorption capacity of Rb^(+)were investigated by batch experiments.The adsorption behavior fits the pseudo-second order kinetic process,while KCuFC has a higher adsorption capacity(Langmuir maximum sorption 165.4 mg·g^(-1)).In addition,KCuFC/SPSG shows excellent selectivity for Rb^(+)even in complex brine systems.KCuFC/SPSG could maintain 93.5%extraction efficiency after five adsorption/desorption cycles.

Development and Validation of Diagnostic Criteria for Elderly Atopic Dermatitis

Objective: Elderly atopic dermatitis (AD) is a newly identified subtype of AD. Whether specific diagnostic criteria are needed for elderly AD has been debated. This study aimed to propose diagnostic criteria for elderly AD and evaluate the sensitivity.Methods: A hospital-based study was conducted. We screened the clinical features of 1,312 patients with AD of different ages in 1 cohort and proposed a set of diagnostic criteria for elderly AD. The criteria were then validated in another cohort of 223 patients clinically diagnosed with elderly AD by dermatologists specialized in AD to examine the diagnostic sensitivity compared with other criteria by chi-square test.Results: Based on the patients’ clinical features, a set of diagnostic criteria for elderly AD were proposed. The new diagnostic criteria showed significantly higher sensitivity than the classical diagnostic criteria (P < 0.001), especially for mild and moderate AD (P < 0.001). Of all 223 patients with elderly AD, 93.3% fulfilled our criteria, while only 43.5%, 65.5%, and 52.0% fulfilled the Hanifin and Rajka criteria, the Japanese Dermatology Academy criteria, and the United Kingdom Working Party criteria, respectively.Conclusion: The newly proposed criteria for elderly AD yielded high diagnostic sensitivity, particularly for mild and moderate AD.

Integrating functional nanomaterials on nonplanar organisms has emerged as a rising technology,while significant mismatch would cause interface failure and poor durability.Herein,we demonstrate a facile strategy to assemble crystalline catecholate frameworks with honeycomb lattice on seaweed-derived polysaccharide microfibers,which is expected to form biomimetic connections and maintain durable stability.By physiological coagulation,well-aligned ZnO nanoarrays are tightly attached on alginate fibers,which is fractionally adopted as sacrifice for heteroepitaxial growth of zinc-catecholate frameworks(Zn3(HHTP)2).Benefiting from amplification effect of in-situ formed heterojunctions,promoted interfacial charge transfer is achieved,which allows for fabricating broadband photodetectors.Combined with high porosity for gas adsorption,the heteroepitaxial catecholate framework further enables its use as highly selective ppb-level triethylamine sensors.This work provides a promising strategy for heteroepitaxial growth of catecholate frameworks on organo-substrates and opens new applications in wearable sensor platform based on comfortable biofibers.

Sustainable light energy from ambient environment has attracted particular attention to meet the evergrowing need of small-scale electronics.The modulation of intercorrelated thermal and electronic transport is one of the crucial aspects for reliable photothermoelectric electronics.Herein,a defectpromoted photothermoelectric effect is demonstrated in densely aligned ZnO nanorod array with rich lattice defects.The defect-rich ZnO device delivers high electrical conductivity and large Seebeck coefficient to enable significant improvement of photothermoelectric energy conversion and self-powered photodetection.The position sensitivity reaches approximately 0.19 mV mm^(-1),and the temperature gradient induced electric field makes up for the suppression in the photothermoelectric process.The synergism between intrinsic defects and extra temperature field plays an important role in promoting the photothermoelectric properties of dense ZnO nanorod array.This study is interesting for interpreting the thermo-phototronic phenomena as well as demonstrating the possibility of defect engineering and phonon engineering to enable highly efficient light energy scavenging and self-powered photodetection.

The controllable synthesis of oxygen evolution reaction(OER)electrocatalyst is an urgent need to advance the develop-ment of sustainable energy conversion and storage.However,the OER efficiency in acidic media is seriously hindered by slow reaction kinetics.The traditional acidic OER electrocatalysts are more prone to be oxidized and corroded as results of unstable carrier structures and variable electronic states of active species.Herein,a high-performing biochar aerogel(BA)based electrocatalyst were realistically designed and synthetized via joint utilization of the terrestrial lignin and seaweed polysaccharide as carbon sources.Originating from the induction effect of"egg-box"structure in alginate and the self-template effect of lignosulfonate,the BA decorated with Ru/RuS_(2)particles was synthesized triumphantly.The as-synthesized electrocatalyst required a low overpotential of 228 mV to attain 10 mA cm^(−2)in 0.5 M H_(2)SO_(4)and exhibited a good stability for over 12,000 s.The good activity was strongly dependent on the assembled unique two-dimensional/three-dimensional(2D/3D)channels in carbon aerogels.Notably,the numerous defective sites at carbon could strongly interact with the Ru/RuS_(2)heterojunction for remarkably enhancing the catalytic activity and stability of whole catalytic system in acidic media.This work puts forward a novel and effective strategy towards the enhancement of the acidic OER process by rational regu-lations of the BA and the coupling effect in micro-interface.

以ChatGPT为代表的生成式人工智能(AIGC)的出现,引发了人工智能技术和版权保护之间的紧张关系。在模型训练端,AIGC大规模使用作品,传统版权许可制度失灵;在内容生成端,AIGC的创作自主性提升,其生成内容的“作品”性质和权利归属不明。为规范AIGC技术发展,法国国会提出法案,要求AIGC模型训练一律须取得版权许可,并增设版税制度;将AIGC生成内容的版权归属于原始作品的版权人,并设立标识义务。该法案采取强版权保护和弱技术激励的思路,是法国本土人工智能产业和文化产业实力对比下的无奈之举,对AIGC技术发展有一定的负面影响。当前我国正处于提升人工智能技术国际竞争力的关键阶段,走版权保护和技术发展的平衡道路更具现实可行性。对于AIGC的模型训练,可以采用“法定许可+著作权集体管理”的作品利用方式;对于AIGC的生成内容,在满足“人类最低独创性贡献标准+AIGC生成内容标识义务”后,可将其视为作品进行保护,并将版权归属于AIGC的使用者。

压缩感知可有效降低机械状态监测信号的数据存储和传输压力,而现有压缩感知方法在故障诊断的应用中存在压缩效率低下、信号重构过程缓慢等问题。本文利用自编码网络与压缩感知的对应关系,提出了一种基于深度卷积测量网络的滚动轴承压缩域故障特征提取方法。针对无噪声的故障信号样本难以获取的问题,提出一种利用故障机理构建数据集的方法,利用该仿真数据集训练得到的模型适用于不同工况下的实测轴承信号。构造网络层数由所需要的信号压缩率确定、隐含层与原信号的频率呈对应关系的深度卷积去噪自编码网络。截取训练完备的编码子网络(即深度卷积测量网络)代替传统的观测矩阵对滚动轴承振动信号进行压缩测量,实现压缩域的故障特征提取。仿真分析验证了所提数据集构造方法及压缩域特征提取方法的有效性。滚动轴承实验信号分析进一步验证了采用所提方法训练得到的深度卷积测量网络具有很好的泛化性,且能够在压缩率远低于传统压缩感知方法的情况下有效地提取轴承故障特征成分并进行故障诊断。

以ChatGPT为代表的生成式人工智能对传统教育模式造成了冲击,引发诸多教育伦理风险,而代表着英国顶尖教学和科研水平的罗素大学集团面对风险的举措极具借鉴意义。为此,文章以罗素大学集团为主要研究对象,首先介绍生成式人工智能在教育领域面向学生、教师和教育部门的应用现状,然后将罗素大学集团成员高校对生成式人工智能教育伦理风险的讨论归纳为三个方面,再次分析介绍罗素大学集团面对上述风险的治理路径转变方式与转变原因,最后借鉴罗素大学集团的典型措施,从教导学生正确使用、确保教师主体地位、完善系统管理制度三个层面为我国生成式人工智能教育治理提出完善建议,旨在充分发挥生成式人工智能在教育领域的积极作用,推动数字化教育朝向符合教育伦理的创新和发展。
