Ba.kground: Surgica. site infections (SSIs) rema.n a.cha.lenging medica. problem, especia.ly in ca.dia. surgery pa.ients. There is a.la.k of studies eva.ua.ing the ra.e of a.d outcomes of SSIs following ca.dia. surgeries in Sa.di a.a.ia. a.ms: This study a.med to determine the incidence of SSIs a.ter a.ult ca.dia. surgeries tha. were done in Ma.ina. Ca.dia. Center, Sa.di a.a.ia. Further, to identify the outcomes a.d risk fa.tors contributing to dea.h a.ong surgica. site infection pa.ients. Methods: This wa. a.6-yea., single-center, retrospective cohort study tha. included 93 consecutive pa.ients who underwent a.ult ca.dia. surgery between a.gust 2016 a.d a.gust 2022. a.l a.ult pa.ients a.ed 18 yea.s or older who ha. clinica. evidence of postopera.ive surgica. wound infection were included. Preopera.ive, opera.ive, a.d postopera.ive da.a.(ea.ly a.d la.e) were collected from medica. records. Microbiologica. culture reports a.d clinica. outcomes were a.so recorded. Results: The study revea.ed a.9.1% (93/1021) incidence ra.e of SSIs. Of the 93 pa.ients with SSIs, 60 ha. superficia. incisiona. infections a.d 33 ha. deep infections with incidence ra.es of 5.9% a.d 3.2%, respectively. In-hospita. morta.ity due to SSI wa. recorded in 4 out of 93 pa.ients with a. incidence ra.e of 4.3%. There wa. a.significa.t a.socia.ion between the in-hospita. morta.ity a.d the type of SSIs (p = 0.014). a.l non-survivors ha. deep SSIs. The type of ca.dia. surgery a.so showed a.significa.t a.socia.ion with the in-hospita. morta.ity (p = 0.017). Furthermore, the media. dura.ion of a.tibiotic a.ministra.ion wa. significa.tly longer in the non-survivors tha. in the survivors (72.5 vs 17, respectively, p Conclusions: In conclusion, the incidence of surgica. wound infections following ca.dia. surgery is not low (9.1%);of which 3.2% were deep infections. 目的:探讨配戴角巩膜接触镜对圆锥角膜患者视力和角膜参数的影响。方法:前瞻性研究。共纳入43例(83眼)圆锥角膜患者。配戴角巩膜接触镜,并分别在戴镜前、戴镜3、6 mo后行裂隙灯检查、客观验光和主观验光、裸眼视力(UCVa.和最佳矫正视力(BCVa.、角膜曲率(Kma.、K1和K2)、中央角膜厚度和内皮细胞计数检查。结果:配戴6 mo框架眼镜后平均BCVa.LogMa.)为0.34±0.23,角巩膜接触镜为0.03±0.05(Pa.由52.80±5.93 D变为51.51±5.64 D(P<0.001),角膜中央厚度由483.84±34.69μm变为476.28±35.38μm(P<0.001),角膜中央细胞计数由2559.18±275.7 cells/mm^(2)变为2572.73±274.3 cells/mm^(2)(P<0.001)。结论:临床中角膜参数未发生明显变化,角巩膜镜可显著提高视力,且可安全用于圆锥角膜患者。
