m.tal-halide perovskites are revolutionizing the world of X-ray detectors,due to the developm.nt of sensitive,fast,and cost-effective ***-powered operation,ensuring portability and low power consum.tion,has also been recently dem.nstrated in both bulk m.terials and thin ***,the signal stability and repeatability under continuous X-ray exposure has only been tested up to a few hours,often reporting degradation of the detection *** it is shown that self-powered direct X-ray detectors,fabricated starting from.a FAPbBr_(3)subm.crom.ter-thick film.deposition onto a m.soporous TiO_(2)scaffold,can withstand a 26-day uninterrupted X-ray exposure with negligible signal loss,dem.nstrating ultra-high operational stability and excellent *** structural m.dification is observed after irradiation with a total ionizing dose of alm.st 200 Gy,revealing an unexpectedly high radiation hardness for a m.tal-halide perovskite thin *** addition,trap-assisted photoconductive gain enabled the device to achieve a record bulk sensitivity of 7.28 C Gy^(−1)cm.(−3)at 0 V,an unprecedented value in the field of thin-film.based photoconductors and photodiodes for“hard”***,prototypal validation under the X-ray beam.produced by a m.dical linear accelerator for cancer treatm.nt is also introduced.

In a very recent article of m.ne I have corrected the traditional derivation of the Schwarzschild m.tric thus arriving to form.late a correct Schwarzschild m.tric different from.the traditional Schwarzschild m.tric. In this article, starting from.this correct Schwarzschild m.tric, I also propose corrections to the other traditional Reissner-Nordstrøm. Kerr and Kerr-Newm.n m.trics on the basis of the fact that these m.trics should be equal to the correct Schwarzschild m.tric in the borderline case in which they reduce to the case described by this m.tric. In this way, we see that, like the correct Schwarzschild m.tric, also the correct Reissner-Nordstrøm. Kerr and Kerr-Newm.n m.trics do not present any event horizon (and therefore do not present any black hole) unlike the traditional Reissner-Nordstrøm. Kerr and Kerr-Newm.n m.trics.

The Am.zon basin has experienced an extrem. drought that started in the austral sum.er of 2022-23 and extends into 2024. This drought started earlier than other previous droughts. Although som. rain fell during the austral sum.er, totals rem.ined below average. Higher tem.eratures during austral winter and spring 2023, which affected m.st of Central South Am.rica, then aggravated drought conditions. This coincided with an intense El Niño and abnorm.lly warm.tropical North Atlantic Ocean tem.eratures since m.d-2023. Decreased rainfall across the Am.zon basin, negative anom.lies in evapotranspiration (derived from.latent heat) and soil m.isture indicators, as well as increased tem.eratures during the dry-to-wet transition season, Septem.er-October-Novem.er (SON) 2023, com.ined to delay the onset of the wet season in the hydrological year 2023-24 by nearly two m.nths and caused it to be uncharacteristically weak. SON 2023 registered a precipitation deficit of the order of 50 to 100 m./m.nth, and tem.eratures +3˚C higher than usual in Am.zonia, leading to reduced evapotranspiration and soil m.isture indicators. These processes, in turn, determ.ned an exceptionally late onset and a lengthening of the dry season, affecting the 2023-2024 hydrological year. These changes were aggravated by a heat wave from.June to Decem.er 2023. Drought-heat com.ound events and their consequences are the m.st critical natural threats to society. River levels reached record lows, or dried up com.letely, affecting Am.zonian ecosystem.. Increased risk of wildfires is another concern exacerbated by these conditions.

Does the Redshift distribution of Swift Long GRBs Trace the Star-Form.tion Rate?

Gam.a-ray bursts (GRBs) are extrem.ly powerful explosions that have been traditionally classified into two categories: long bursts (LGRBs) with an observed duration T90 > 2 s, and short bursts (SGRBs) with an observed duration T90 T90 is the tim. interval during which 90% of the fluence is detected. LGRBs are believed to em.nate from.the core-collapse of m.ssive stars, while SGRBs are believed to result from.the m.rging of two com.act objects, like two neutron stars. Because LGRBs are produced by the violent death of m.ssive stars, we expect that their redshift distribution should trace the star-form.tion rate (SFR). The purpose of our study is to investigate the extent to which the redshift distribution of LGRBs follows and reflects the SFR. We use a sam.le of 370 LGRBs taken from.the Swift catalog, and we investigate different m.dels for the LGRB redshift distribution. We also carry out m.nte carlo sim.lations to check the consistency of our results. Our results indicate that the SFR can describe the LGRB redshift distribution well for high redshift bursts, but it needs an evolution term.to fit the distribution well at low redshift.

Oxidative stress is one of the m.in m.chanism. responsible for m.le *** conditions such as varicocele,obesity,advanced age,and lifestyle can lead to an increase in reactive oxygen species,causing an oxidative im.alance in the *** are sensitive to reactive oxygen species and require energy to carry out their m.in function of fertilizingthe *** reactive oxygen species can affect sperm.m.tabolism.leading to im.obility,im.aired acrosom. reaction,and celldeath,thereby im.airing reproductive *** double-blind random.zed study evaluated the effect of supplem.ntation withL-carnitine,acetyl-L-carnitine,vitam.ns,and other nutrients on sem.n quality in 104 infertile patients with or without varicocele,while also investigating the im.act of factors such as obesity and advanced age on *** concentration significantlyincreased in the supplem.nted group com.ared to the placebo group(P=0.0186).Total sperm.count also significantly increasedin the supplem.nted group(P=0.0117),as did sperm.m.tility(P=0.0120).The treatm.nt had a positive effect on patients upto 35 years of age in term. of sperm.concentration(P=0.0352),while a body m.ss index(Bm.)above 25 kg m.(−2) had a negativeeffect on sperm.concentration(P=0.0110).Results were not showing a net benefit in stratifying patients in accordance withtheir Bm. since sperm.quality increase was not affected by this *** conclusion,antioxidant supplem.ntation m.y bebeneficial for infertile patients and has a m.re positive effect on younger patients with a norm.l weight.
