Objective:The aim of this study was to evaluate the anlilungal activity of the major fraction of fatty acids methyl esters(FAMEs)isolated from Linum usitatissimum *** oil collected from Bechar department(Algeria).Methods:The assessment ol antifungal activity was carried out in terms of percentage of radial growth on solid medium potatoes dextrose agar PDA)and biomass growth inhibition on liquid medium(potatoes dextrose broth PDB)against two ***:The FAMEs was found to be effective in inhibiting the radial mycelial growth of Aspergillus fluctis more than Aspergillus ochraceus on all tested *** highest antifungal index was found to be(54.19%]compared to Aspergillus ochraeeus(40.48%).The results of the antifungal activity of the FAMEs inhibition of bioniass on liquid medium gave no discounted results,but this does not exclude the antifungal ***:We can assume that the observed antifungal potency may be due to the abundance of linoleic andα-linolenic acids in linseed oil which appears to be promising to treat fungal infections,storage fungi and food spoilage in food industry field.

Once a column in building is removed due to gas explosion,vehicle impact,terrorist attack,earthquake or any natural disaster,the loading supported by removed column transfers to neighboring structural *** these elements are unable to resist the supplementary loading,they continue to fail,which leads to progressive collapse of *** this paper,an efficient strategy to model and simulate the progressive collapse of multi-story reinforced concrete structure under sudden column removal is *** strategy is subdivided into several connected steps including failure mechanism creation,MBS dynamic analysis and dynamic contact simulation,the latter is solved by using conserving/decaying scheme to handle the stiff nonlinear dynamic *** effect of gravity loads,structure-ground contact,and structure-structure contact are accounted for as *** main novelty in this study consists in the introduction of failure function,and the proper manner to control the mechanism creation of a frame until its total ***,this contribution pertains to a very thorough investigation of progressive collapse of the structure under sudden column *** proposed methodology is applied to a six-story frame,and many different progressive collapse scenarios are *** results ilustrate the efficiency of the proposed strategy.

Fusarium head blight(FHB)is a disease caused by several Fusarium species,notably,*** and *** pathogens adversely affect the technological and sanitary qualities of cereal grains,particularly durum *** favorable environmental conditions and in susceptible varieties,these Fusarium species can signiﬁcantly reduce both the quantity and quality of *** study evaluated the pathogenicity of the two Fusarium species(FC2006 and FG2008)in the growth of durum wheat *** plant material included four commercially grown parental varieties(G9,G10,G11,G12)and eight breeding lines(G1,G2,G3,G4,G5,G6,G7,G8).In vitro tests revealed that both Fusarium species signiﬁcantly reduced the coleoptile growth across the studied varieties and lines(p≤0.001).The control test had an average coleoptile length of 37.87 *** contrast,seeds inoculated with FC2006 had an average length of 0.62 mm,and those inoculated with FG2008 had only 0.064 *** there was a slight difference in aggressiveness between the two spe-cies,it was not statistically signiﬁcant(p>0.05).Some variability was also noted in the responses of the durum wheat varieties and *** G8 genotype showed remarkable behavior in both isolates,with an average length of 1.83 mm for FC2006 and 0.4 mm for *** other genotypes showed total inhibition of coleoptile growth(0 mm).Theseﬁndings highlight the importance of conducting further research on the defense mechanisms of durum wheat against Fusarium and assessing the local varieties’pathogenicity to better explore the interactions between these pathogens and durum wheat genotypes under in vitro conditions.

Our work focuses on the assessment of trends,erosion states and causal risk factors for soil erosion of the Asfalou watershed through the use of the Priority Actions Program/Regional Activity Center(PAP/RAC).This qualitative study model for water erosion makes it possible to assess susceptibility and determine potential fragile areas in order to diagnose the state of soil *** adopted the PAP/RAC crossed matrices,the geographic information system(GIS)and remote sensing(RS)to develop the classical *** method is based on three main approaches:predictive,descriptive and *** soil types,slope length(LS)and climatic factors into our model,including rainfall erosivity(R),slope exposure,soil moisture index(SMI)and land surface temperature(LST),improved the reli-ability of our *** correlation analysis identified these factors that explain erosion states and the risk of soil *** coefficients of determination(R2)of the various erosive states resulting from the modified PAP/RAC approach explain respectively 98.30%,77%and 49.3%of the observed variability of the erosive *** factors provide information on the current state of soil degradation depending on the degree of influence of the different factors that control *** descriptive approach has shown that soil loss manifests itself in different forms,whether for sheet erosion(L)and ravines(C1)succes-sively affecting 79.95%and 17.84%of the *** integration approach identifies factors and areas requiring intervention to counter the effects of soil erosion in the Asfalou watershed effectively and sustainably.

Bayesian genetic analysis of milk yield in Tunisian Holstein dairy cattle population

The genetic determinism of 305-d milk yield and its genetic parameters were investigated in Tunisian Holstein dairy cattle population through Bayesian segregation analyses using a Monte Carlo Markov Chains (MCMC) method. Data included 49,709 records of 305-d milk yield collected between 1996 and 2003 from 114 dairy herds. The postulated major gene was assumed to be additive biallelic locus with Mendelian transmission probabilities and priors used for variance components were uniform. Gibbs sampling was used to generate a chain of 500,000 samples, which were used to obtain posterior means of genetic parameters. Estimated marginal posterior means ± posterior standard deviations of variance components of milk yield were 402866.28 ± 23629.97, 271256.66 ± 34477.83, 68276.83 ± 233027.62 and 1098855.75 ± 10009.52 for polygenic variance (σ2u), permanent environmental variance (σ2ne), major gene variance (σ2G) and error variance (σ2e), respectively. The main finding of this paper showed the postulated major locus was not significant, since the 95% highest posterior density regions (HPDs95%) of most major gene parameters included 0, and particularly for the major gene variance. Estimated transmission probabilities for the 95% highest posterior density regions (HPDs95%) were overlapped. Genetic parameters of 305-d milk yield were very similar under both mixed inheritance and polygenic models. These results indicated that the genetic determinism of milk yield in Tunisian Holstein dairy cattle population is purely polygenic. Based on 50,000 Gibbs samples, heritability and repeatability estimates using polygenic model were h2 = 0.22 ± 0.012 and r = 0.38 ± 0.006, respectively.

This article addresses the concern of export performance among Moroccan SMEs through the paradigmatic lens of the resource based view （RBV） and international relationship marketing. Limited research exists on relational determinants of export performance, especially in developing countries. Furthermore, literature has been dominated during the last decade by the economic perspective. Yet, an increased attention has turned to the RBV as well as the relational perspective. Highlighting this gap, the study aims two objectives： First, to understand the scope and the nature of relational determinants, deemed as key resources, of export performance. Second, to examine which other internal and market factors are intervening as significant antecedents of the relational factors Drawing from a literature review outcomes and an in-depth interview endeavor conducted among 20 exporting firms＇ managers, a conceptual framework has been proposed. It＇s argued that exporting finns would reach great export performance by fostering successful cross-border inter-firm relationships. More specifically, the study highlight three main relational constructs, namely contractual governance, relational governance, and relationship performance. Linguistic abilities, attitude toward risk and export experience are suggested as managerial antecedents. While competitive intensity and market uncertainty are supposed to intervene as external antecedents Several hypotheses are suggested. The unit of analysis is a selected export venture. A further inquiry of the overall study is to offer hypotheses test throughout quantitative survey

Well crystalline gadolinium oxide（Gd2O3） nanostructures were grown by annealing the hydrothermally as-prepared nanostructures without using any template. Microscopic studies of Gd2O3 nanostructures were recorded along the [111] direction due to the clearly resolved interplanar distance d（222）-0.31 nm of the cubic crystal structure Gd2O3. Sensing mechanism of Gd2O3 as efficient electron mediator for the detection of ethanol was explored. As-fabricated sensor demonstrated the high-sensitivity of -0.266 μAm/M/cm2 with low detection limit（-52.2 μmol/L） and correlation coefficient（r^2, 0.618）. To the best of our knowledge, this was the first report for the detection of ethanol using as-grown（at 1000 oC） Gd2O3 nanostructures by simple and reliable Ⅰ-Ⅴ technique and rapid assessment of the reaction kinetics（in the order of seconds）. The low cost of the starting reagents and the simplicity of the synthetic route made it a promising chemical sensor for the detection of various toxic analytes, which are not environmentally safe.

The study of the tectono-sedimentary evolution of the lower Cretaceous series realized in the southern on the tethysian margin in the Tunisian central-Southerner Atlas, shows that the architecture of this field is governed by a NW-SE compressive phase. This latter has reactivated the old faults to give birth to associated, distensive and compressive structures at the same time simultaneously. It is about a network of combined strike slip fault EW dextral and sinistral NS which divided the cover into four zones of deformation corresponding to the right dihedron of the strike slip fault system. In the compressive dihedron, the deformation develops essentially several folds and in the distensive dihedron, normal faults which delimit horsts and grabens.
