A new europium(Ⅲ)complex containing(4-methyl-2-oxo-2 h-chromen-7-yloxy)-acetic acid moiety(CmmC)was synthesized,characterized,and confirmed as antitumor agent and fluorescent *** spectroscopic measurements of Eu(Ⅲ)in the presence of CmmC were obtained in different *** results show that the strongest Eu(Ⅲ)emission bands were monitored in iso-propyl alcohol while the weakest Eu(Ⅲ)emission band was observed in *** interaction of Eu(Ⅲ)-(CmmC)2 complex with DNA was monitored using absorption and emission *** fluorescence titration measurements,the binding constants of DNA with Eu(Ⅲ)-(CmmC)_2 complex were found to be 1.04×10~5 L·mol^(-1) in Tris-hCl and 1.17×10~7 L·mol^(-1) in DmSO-Tris-hCl buffer(9∶1 V/V).hypochromism was observed from the absorption titration experiment which indicates the intercalation of Eu(Ⅲ)-complex between the base pair of *** result further confirmed by fluorescent Ethidium bromide displacement *** fluorescence calibration curve was used for the determination of DNA with LOD of 1.2 ng in DmSO-Tris-hCl buffer(9∶1 V/V)and 5 ng in Tris-hCl *** preliminary antitumor investigation shows promising cytotoxicity against mDA-mB-231,mCF-7(mammary cancer),and PC-3(prostate carcinoma)cell lines with IC50 values of 40.63,25.42 and 30.25μmol·L^(-1),respectively.

In this study,we conducted a search for dark matter using a part of the data recorded by the CmS experiment during run-I of the LhC in 2012 with a center of mass energy of 8 TeV and an integrated luminosity of 11.6 fb−*** data were gathered from the CmS open *** matter,in the framework of the simplified model(mono-Z′),can be produced from proton-proton collisions in association with a new hypothetical gauge boson,Z′.Thus,the search was conducted in the dimuon plus large missing transverse momentum *** benchmark scenario of mono-Z′,which is known as light vector,was used for interpreting the CmS open *** evidence of dark matter was observed,and exclusion limits were set on the masses of dark matter and Z′at 95%confidence level.

Five perovskite ceramics samples of Ba_(1-x)Er_(x)SnO_(3) with x=0.00,0.05,0.10,0.15,and 0.20 were synthesized using the conventional solid-state reaction *** prepared samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier transforms infrared(FTIR),and UV-Vis *** shielding properties against ionizing radiation were also *** XRD analysis shows the perovskite cubic structure as the major phase in all *** FTIR reveals a distinctive band around 614-620 cm^(-1) ascribed to the antisymmetric O-Sn-O ***-Vis spectroscopy was used to determine the bandgap according to diffuse reflectance,and the results display a fixed enhancement in the bandgap from 3.2 to 3.3 eV for all ***-ray shielding properties of the synthesized samples were experimentally measured and compared with XCOm computational *** relative differences(Δ,%)between experimental and theo retical values are low and fall within the 0.446%-7.10%*** addition of Er leads to the enhanced density,neutron,and gamma shielding *** contrast,charged particles’shielding parameters gradually reduce with rising Er *** results suggest that Ba_(1-x)Er_(x)SnO_(3) samples can be used in different radiation shielding applications.

Thyroid hormones play essential roles in spermatogenesis,but their effects on infertile males remain poorly *** study aimed to evaluate the impact of combining carbimazole(CBZ)with vitamin E(VE)on testicular injury induced by experimental hyperthyroidism in adult albino rats,focusing on oxidative,inflammatory,and apoptotic *** this experimental study,64 adult male albino Wistar rats were divided into eight groups:Group I(control-untreated),Group II(CBZ-control),Group III(VE-control),Group IV(CBZ+VE-control),Group V(levothyroxine-induced testicular injury),Group VI(levothyroxine+CBZ-treated),Group VII(levothyroxine+VE-treated),and Group VIII(levothyroxine+CBZ+VE-treated).The study was conducted in the Faculty of medicine,Suez Canal University(Ismailia,Egypt).After cervical decapitation,both testes and epididymis were examined histopathologically and *** differences were observed among groups concerning malondialdehyde(mDA),glutathione(GSh),superoxide dismutase(SOD),and catalase(CAT;all Pmerase chain reaction analysis showed significant differences in tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-10(IL-10),Bcl-2-associated X protein(BAX),B-cell lymphoma 2 protein(Bcl2),p53,Caspase-3,Caspase-8,Caspase-9,and nuclear factor-kappa B(NF-κB)mRNA levels(all Phyperthyroid group treated with CBZ alone(Group VI)exhibited testicular side effects,affecting seminiferous tubules and ***,the Group VIII showed improved spermatogenesis and a decrease in testicular side *** addition of VE to the treatment of hyperthyroid rats with CBZ reduced testicular side effects and seminiferous tubular affection when potentially improving *** research is needed to elucidate the underlying mechanisms fully.

Side lobe level reduction(SLL)of antenna arrays significantly enhances the signal-to-interference ratio and improves the quality of service(QOS)in recent and future wireless communication systems starting from 5G up to ***,it improves the array gain and directivity,increasing the detection range and angular resolution of radar *** study proposes two highly efficient SLL reduction *** techniques are based on the hybridization between either the single convolution or the double convolution algorithms and the genetic algorithm(GA)to develop the Conv/GA andDConv/GA,*** convolution process determines the element’s excitations while the GA optimizes the element *** m elements linear antenna array(LAA),the convolution of the excitation coefficients vector by itself provides a new vector of excitations of length N=(2m−1).This new vector is divided into three different sets of excitations including the odd excitations,even excitations,and middle excitations of lengths m,m−1,andm,*** the same element spacing as the original LAA is used,it is noticed that the odd and even excitations provide a much lower SLL than that of the LAA but with amuch wider half-power beamwidth(hPBW).While the middle excitations give the same hPBWas the original LAA with a relatively higher *** the increased hPBWof the odd and even excitations,the element spacing is optimized using the ***,the synthesized arrays have the same hPBW as the original LAA with a two-fold reduction in the ***,for extreme SLL reduction,the DConv/GA is *** this technique,the same procedure of the aforementioned Conv/GA technique is performed on the resultant even and odd excitation *** provides a relatively wider hPBWthan the original LAA with about quad-fold reduction in the SLL.

This paper aims to design an optimizer followed by a Kawahara filter for optimal classification and prediction of employees’*** algorithm starts by processing data by a modified K-means technique as a hierarchical clustering method to quickly obtain the best features of employees to reach their best *** work of this paper consists of two *** first part is based on collecting data of employees to calculate and illustrate the performance of each *** second part is based on the classification and prediction techniques of the employee *** model is designed to help companies in their decisions about the employees’*** classification and prediction algorithms use the Gradient Boosting Tree classifier to classify and predict the *** of the paper give the percentage of employees which are expected to leave the company after predicting their performance for the coming *** also show that the Grasshopper Optimization,followed by“KF”with the Gradient Boosting Tree as classifier and predictor,is characterized by a high *** proposed algorithm is compared with other known techniques where our results are fund to be superior.

Requirements engineering(RE)is among the most valuable and critical processes in software *** quality of this process significantly affects the success of a software *** important step in RE is requirements elicitation,which involves collecting project-related requirements from different *** of reusable requirements are typically important sources of an increasing number of reusable software ***,the process of searching such repositories to collect valuable project-related requirements is time-consuming and difficult to perform *** systems have been widely recognized as an effective solution to such ***,this study proposes an effective hybrid content-based collaborative filtering recommendation *** proposed approach will support project stake-holders in mitigating the risk of missing requirements during requirements elicitation by identifying related requirements from software requirement *** experimental results on the RALIC dataset demonstrate that the proposed approach considerably outperforms baseline collaborative filtering-based recom-mendation methods in terms of prediction accuracy and coverage in addition to mitigating the data sparsity and cold-start item problems.

The present investigation is intended to demonstrate the magnetic field,relaxation time,hydrostatic initial stress,and two temperature on the thermal shock *** governing equations are formulated in the context of Lord-Shulman theory with the presence of bodily force,two temperatures,thermal shock,and hydrostatic initial *** obtained the exact solution using the normal mode technique with appropriate boundary *** field quantities are calculated analytically and displayed graphically under thermal shock problem with effect of external parameters respect to space *** results obtained are agreeing with the previous results obtained by others when the new parameters *** results indicate that the effect of magnetic field and initial stress on the conductor temperature,thermodynamic temperature,displacement and stress are quite *** order to illustrate and verify the analytical development,the numerical results of temperature,displacement and stress are carried out and computer simulated results are presented *** study helpful in the development of piezoelectric devices.

An Evaluation to the Performance of Evacuated Tube Solar heaters for Arid and hot Areas

Solar energy applications could be the best alternative to the conventional fuels for the purposes of domestic,water and space heating and some industries in the sunny,arid,and hot *** the present study,the performance of an evacuated tube solar heater for water heating for months of February and march was experimentally *** was performed in a hot and arid area(Nasiriya City,South of Iraq).A solar heater with ten evacuated tube solar collectors with a capacity of 100 liter was used in the *** evacuated tube had a length of 1.8m with an outside diameter of 8 *** was observed that for the two selected months,water temperature of the solar heater reached a maximum more than 70°C during sunny days with no heat extraction from the tank of the solar ***,heat was extracted from the solar collector with four different flowrates 0.5,0.75,1,and 1.25 l/min,*** results showed that temperature of the solar heater behaved differently from the static *** the heat extraction begun,there was a gradual and noticeable decrease in the water temperature of the *** observed decrease was slight with the lowest flowrate(0.25 l/m)and becomes sharp with the highest flowrate(1.25 l/min).however,water temperature of the solar heater remained higher than 40°C for the investigated flowrates except the case of 1.25 l/*** results showed that evacuated tube solar heater can work efficiently in arid and hot areas in winter and spring seasons when the conditions of solar radiation are suitable.

To increase the payload,reduce energy consumption,improve work efficiency and therefore must accordingly reduce the total hull weight of the *** paper introduces a design optimization process for the pressurehull of submarines under uniform external hydrostatic pressure using bothfinite element analysis(FEA)and optimization tools.A comprehensive study about the optimum design of the pressure hull,to minimize the weight and increase the volume,to reach minimum buoyancy factor and maximum operating depth minimizing the buoyancy factor(B.F)is taken as an objective function with constraints of plate and frame yielding,general instability and *** optimization process contains many design variables such as pressure-hull plate thickness,unsupported spacing,dimensions of long and ring beams andfinally the elliptical submersible pressure-hull *** optimization process was conducted using ANSYS parametric design language(APDL)and *** multi-Island Genetic Algorithm(G.A)is considered to conduct the optimization ***,parametric analysis is done on the pressure hull to examine the effect of different design variables on the pressure-hull *** a result,the B.F of the proposed optimal model is reduced by an average of 31.78%compared with Reference model(Rm).maximum von mises stress is reduced by 27%as *** results can be helpful for submarine pressure-hull designers.
