Neuroprotective effects of tetrandrine against vascular dementia

Tetrandrine is one of the major active ingredients in Menispermaceae Stephania tetrandra ***,and has specific therapeutic effects in ischemic cerebrovascular *** use in vascular dementia has not been studied ***,we investigated whether tetrandrine would improve behavioral and cellular impairments in a two-vessel occlusion rat model of chronic vascular *** weeks after model establishment,rats were injected intraperitoneally with 10 or 30 mg/kg tetrandrine every other day for 4 *** assessment in the Morris water maze showed that model rats had longer escape latencies in training trials,and spent less time swimming in the target quadrant in probe trials,than sham-operated ***,rats that had received tetrandrine showed shorter escape latencies and longer target quadrant swimming time than untreated model ***-eosin and Nissl staining revealed less neuronal necrosis and pathological damage,and more living cells,in the hippocampus of rats treated with tetrandrine than in untreated model *** blot assay showed that interleukin-1β expression,and phosphorylation of the N-methyl-D-aspartate 2B receptor at tyrosine 1472,were lower in model rats that received tetrandrine than in those that did *** present findings suggest that tetrandrine may be neuroprotective in chronic vascular dementia by reducing interleukin-1β expression,N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor 2B phosphorylation at tyrosine 1472,and neuronal necrosis.

BACKGROUND Over the years,programmed cell death-1(PD-1)inhibitors have been routinely used for hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)treatment and yielded improved survival ***,significant heterogeneity surrounds the outcomes of most ***,it is critical to search for biomarkers that predict the efficacy of PD-1 inhibitors in patients with *** To investigate the role of the C-reactive protein to albumin ratio(CAR)in evaluating the efficacy of PD-1 inhibitors for *** The clinical data of 160 patients with HCC treated with PD-1 inhibitors from January 2018 to November 2022 at the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University were retrospectively *** The optimal cut-off value for CAR based on progression-free survival(PFS)was determined to be 1.20 using x-tile *** proportional risk model was used to determine the factors affecting *** Cooperative Oncology Group performance status[hazard ratio(HR)=1.754,95%confidence interval(95%CI)=1.045-2.944,P=0.033],CAR(HR=2.118,95%CI=1.057-4.243,P=0.034)and tumor number(HR=2.932,95%CI=1.246-6.897,P=0.014)were independent prognostic factors for overall ***(HR=2.730,95%CI=1.502-4.961,P=0.001),tumor number(HR=1.584,95%CI=1.003-2.500,P=0.048)and neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio(HR=1.120,95%CI=1.022-1.228,P=0.015)were independent prognostic factors for *** nomograms were constructed based on independent prognostic *** C-index index and calibration plots confirmed that the nomogram is a reliable risk prediction *** ROC curve and decision curve analysis confirmed that the nomogram has a good predictive effect as well as a net clinical *** Overall,we reveal that the CAR is a potential predictor of short-and long-term prognosis in patients with HCC treated with PD-1 *** further verified,CAR-based nomogram may increase the number of markers that predict individualized prognosis.

研究了水泥石和骨料的显微硬度以及骨料体积分数对混凝土耐钻磨性和抗压强度的影响,探索了影响混凝土耐钻磨性的主要参数,并基于两相复合材料理论建立了混凝土耐钻磨性的数学模型.结果表明:在各组分显微硬度和骨料体积分数分别变化时,混凝土耐钻磨性和抗压强度之间并不一直存在线性关系;各组分显微硬度及其体积分数是影响混凝土耐钻磨性的主要参数;根据混凝土耐钻磨性的数学模型得出的预测硬度与实测硬度偏差大都在20%以内,验证了所提模型的合理性.

根据番茄中控制果实形状的主效数量性状基因ovate的序列,用生物信息学方法从茄科植物烟草中获得直系同源ovate基因(NTovate)的特异片段,经鉴定,此基因在烟草中至少有2个拷贝。在此基础上用cDNA末端快速扩增(RACE)方法,获得其中1个拷贝的1059bpNTovate全长cDNA序列。序列分析表明,NTovate cDNA序列编码352个氨基酸,其蛋白序列与番茄ovate蛋白序列和拟南芥ovate蛋白家族AtOFP7蛋白分别为70%和36%的序列一致率,而与此家族中其他蛋白以及水稻ovate蛋白仅在保守的ovate结构域有较低的同源性。此基因已在GenBank中登录(EU043369)。

Numerical investigation and modeling of sweep effects on inlet flow field of axial compressor cascades

Swept blades are widely utilized in transonic compressors/fans and provide high load,high through-flow,high efficiency,and adequate stall ***,there is limited quantitative research on the mechanism of the effect of swept blades on the flow field,resulting in a lack of direct quantitative guidance for the design and analysis of swept blades in fans/*** better understand this mechanism,this study employs a reduced-dimensional force equilibrium method to analyze more than 1500 swept cascades *** verify that circumferential fluctuation terms are responsible for inducing radial migration in the inlet airflow field of the swept blade,resulting in variations in the incidence angle and consequently leading to changes in the characteristics of the swept ***,a combination of simple functions and machine learning is utilized to model the circumferential fluctuation terms and quantify the sweep *** prediction accuracy of the model is high,with coefficient of determination greater than 0.95 on the test *** the model is applied in a meridional flow analysis program,the calculation accuracy of the program for the incidence angle is improved by 0.4°and 0.6°at the design and off-design conditions respectively,compensating for the program’s original ***,the model can also provide quantitative guidance for the design of swept blades,thereby reducing the number of design iterations and improving design efficiency.

This study investigates the robust feedback set stabilization of switched logic control networks(SLCNs)with state-dependent uncertain switching and control ***,based on the properties of the semi-tensor product of matrices and the vector representation of logic,an SLCN with state-dependent uncertain switching and control constraints is expressed in algebraic ***,an input transformation and a switching model are constructed to transfer the original SLCN into one with a free control input and arbitrary *** equivalence between the set stabilizability of the original SLCN and that of the resulting SLCN is *** on such equivalence,the authors propose a necessary and sufficient condition for robust feedback set ***,an example is presented to demonstrate the application of the results obtained.

Bianjing Spectacle: Soundscapes of Bianjing and Identities in Song Dynasty Literature

By closely examining the literary works of the Song Dynasty,such as prose,poetry,rhyme-prose,lyrics,notes,and miscellaneous theses,this paper combines historical and literary evidence to rediscover the 13 types of soundscapes and their corresponding spaces in the Bianjing City,the capital of the Northern Song Dynasty,and it reveals the causes and historical-cultural significance of these *** on the key issues of soundscapes,this paper analyzes the sound spaces,identities,discourses,and literary achievements depicted in the writings about *** argues that the“Bianjing Spectacle”of vendors’cries described by the Southern Song people can be used as a summary of the soundscape characteristics of ***,it interprets the special silence,crying,and the absence of the sounds of production from an aesthetic *** rediscovering,analyzing,and interpreting the soundscapes of Bianjing,this paper reveals significant differences between the Tang and Song dynasties at the sound level and differentiates various“auditory communities.”It thereby demonstrates the portrayal of Bianjing in Song literature,addresses theoretical hot topics in literature and geography,and builds on Marx’s arguments to propose that a thorough understanding of history,the world,and ourselves requires an in depth study of the soundscapes in literature.

Synthesis of a High-Efficiency Demulsifier and Study on Optimal Demulsification Conditions

Oil and water separation has always been a top priority in the oil *** this study,a series of hyperbranched fluorinated polyamine-amine polymers(HFPA1-5)were synthesized directly using an improved“one-pot method.”The highly active fluorinated p-trifluoromethylaniline was used as the core raw material,while diethylenetriamine and methyl acrylate were used as the chain segment.A hyperbranched fluorine-containing polyamine-amine demulsifier(NHFPA6)was obtained through nano-grafting copolymerization of *** enhance the demulsification and dehydration performance,the copolymerized HFPA6 was modified and ***,the effects of the combination ratio,demulsifier concentration,demulsification time,and demulsification temperature on the demulsification effect were *** results revealed that a combination ratio of DE-401:NHFPA6=1:1,a demulsification temperature of 50℃,a demulsification time of 60 min,and a demulsifier concentration of 150 mg/L yielded a dehydration rate as high as 99.80%.A response surface optimization design of demulsification conditions was *** model verified that the optimal demulsification conditions were 50℃,300 mg/L,and 90 ***,considering the economic benefits of factories,it is more favorable to select demulsification conditions with a shorter time and lower concentration when the dehydration standard is ***,the demulsification conditions were selected as 50℃,150 mg/L,and 60 *** to existing demulsifiers,the demulsifier developed in this study exhibits a lower demulsification temperature and higher demulsification efficiency.
