Background:The relative anatomical understanding of the perirectal fasciae is of paramount importance for the proper performance of total mesorectal excision(TmE).This study was to demonstrate the planes of TmE and validates the intraoperative findings using cadaveric ***:In this combined retrospective and prospective study,bilateral attachment of the rectosacral fascia(rSF)was observed in 28 cadaveric specimens(male,n=14;female,n=14).From January 2018 to December 2019,surgical videos of 67 patients who underwent laparoscopic TmE at the Affiliated Union Hospital of Fujian medical University(Fuzhou,China)were reviewed and interpreted with the cadaveric ***:The rSF(synonym:Waldeyer’s fascia)is the end of the pre-hypogastric fascia at the level of S4 and com.r.ses two layers(upper and lower).These two layers provide double fascial protection for the venous sacral *** inserts into the fascia propria of the rectum along a broad horizontal arc that m.r.es anterolaterally in an oblique downward direction until it meets the posterolateral m.r.e of Denonvilliers’fascia at the lateral rectal ligament(LrL).This ligament does not look like a true ligament but is m.r. likely to be a fascial combination that cushions the rectal innervation and middle rectal ***:Understanding the lateral attachment of rSF and its contribution to LrL provides invaluable surgical guidance to dissect this critical ***,lateral dissection is proposed from the anterior to the posterior direction to find the correct plane that guarantees an intact mesorectal envelope to protect the important nearby nerve structures.

Interrelationship between physical activity and depression in nonalcoholic fatty liver disease

A Deep Learning modeling Framework to Capture mixing Patterns in reactive-Transport Systems

Prediction and control of chemical mixing are vital for many scientific areas such as subsurface reactive transport, climate modeling, combustion, epidemiology, and pharmacology. Due to the complex nature of mixing in heterogeneous andanisotropic media, the mathematical models related to this phenomenon are not analytically tractable. Num.r.cal simulations often provide a viable route to predict chemical mixing accurately. However, contemporary modeling approaches for mixing cannot utilize available spatial-temporal data to im.r.ve the accuracy of the future prediction and can be compute-intensive, especially when the spatial domain is large andfor long-term temporal predictions. To address this knowledge gap, we will present inthis paper a deep learning (DL) modeling framework applied to predict the progress ofchemical mixing under fast bimolecular reactions. This framework uses convolutionalneural networks (CNN) for capturing spatial patterns and long short-term mem.r.(LSTm) networks for forecasting temporal variations in mixing. By careful design ofthe framework—placement of non-negative constraint on the weights of the CNN andthe selection of activation function, the framework ensures non-negativity of the chemical species at all spatial points and for all times. Our DL-based framework is fast,accurate, and requires minimal data for training. The time needed to obtain a forecastusing the model is a fraction (≈ O(10−6)) of the time needed to obtain the result using a high-fidelity simulation. To achieve an error of 10% (measured using the infinitynorm) for capturing local-scale mixing features such as interfacial mixing, only 24%to 32% of the sequence data for model training is required. To achieve the same levelof accuracy for capturing global-scale mixing features, the sequence data required formodel training is 64% to 70% of the total spatial-temporal data. mP2 method and different functionals such as m06-HF, m06-2X, CAm-B3 LYP, PBE0, B3 LYP and m06 L incorporating different XC amounts were used to calculate the static first hyperpolarizabilies β(0) of eight molecules which are derivatives of benzene, stilbene and diphenylacetylene. The values were then compared to the experimental ones. The m06-2X functional was then selected for further calculations. NBO calculations were also performed to define the intramolecular charge transfer in each molecule. TD-DFT calculations were performed taking into account the solvent effect using the IEF-PCm formalism. Some parameters characterizing the vertical transitions such as the wavelength of the maximum absorption λ_(max) were compared to the experimental ones. Finally,solvation Gibbs free enthalpy ΔG_(solv) values have also been examined in order to determine which the specific solvent for a given molecule is.

In this paper we present a coupled Finite Element method–Boundary Element method(FEm-BEm)approach for the solution of the free-boundary axi-symmetric plasma equilibrium *** proposed method,obtained from an im.r.vement of the Hagenow-Lackner coupling method,allows to efficiently model the equilibrium problem in unbounded domains by discretizing only the plasma region;the external conductors can be modelled either as 2D or 3D models,according to the problem of in*** paper explores different iterative methods for the solution of the nonlinear Grad-Shafranov equation,such as Picard,Newton-raphson and Newton-Krylov,in order to provide a robust and reliable tool,able to handle large-scale problems(*** resolution equilibria).This method has been implemented in the FrIDA code(Freeboundary Integro-Differential Axisimmetric–https://***/matteobonotto/FrIDA),together with a suitable Adaptive Integration Technique(AIT)for the computation of the source *** has been successfully tested and validated against experimental data from.r.X-mod device,and num.r.cal equilibria of an ITEr-like device.

mixed Wastes Vitrification by Transferred Plasma

Thermal plasma technology provides a stable and long term treatment of mixed wastes through vitrification processes. In this work, a transferred plasma system was realized to vitrify mixed wastes, taking advantage of its high power density, enthalpy and chemical reactivity as well as its rapid quenching and high operation temperatures. To characterize the plasma discharge, a temperature diagnostic is realized by means of optical emission spectroscopy （OES）. To typify the m.r.hological structure of the wastes samples~ scan- ning electron microscopy （SEm）, and X-ray diffraction （XrD） techniques were applied before and after the plasma treatment.
