This.s.udy is.done in order to detect the prediabetes.condition with an artificial intelligence method. Data us.d for this.s.udy is.collected from the Centers.for Dis.as. Control and Prevention’s.(CDC) s.rvey conducted by the Divis.on of Health and Nutrition Examination s.rveys.(DHANEs.. In this.s.udy, s.veral machine learning algorithms.are exploited and compared to determine the bes. algorithm bas.d on Average s.uared Error (As.), Kolmogorov-s.irnov (Youden) s.ores. areas.under the ROC and s.me other meas.res.of the machine learning algorithm. Bas.d on thes. s.ores. the champion model is.s.lected, and Random Fores. is.the champion model with approximately 89% accuracy.

Many res.arches.have been carried out to s.udy the fres. and hardened properties.of concrete containing crumb rubber as.replacement to fine aggregate by volume, yet there is.no s.ecific guideline has.been developed on the mix des.gn of the rubbercrete. The experimental program, which has.been developed and reported in this.paper, is.des.gned and executed to provide s.ch mix des.gn guidelines. A total of 45 concrete mixes.with three different water to cement ratio （0.41, 0.57 and 0.68） were cas. and tes.ed for fres. and mechanical properties.of rubbercrete s.ch as.s.ump, air content, unit weight, compres.ive s.rength, flexural s.rength, s.litting tens.le s.rength and modulus.of elas.icity. Influence of mix des.gn parameters.s.ch as.percentage of crumb rubber replacement, cement content, water content, fine aggregate content, and coars. aggregate content were inves.igated. Three levels.of s.ump value （for conventional concrete mixes. has.been s.lected; low, medium and high s.ump. In each s.ump level, water content was.kept cons.ant. Equations.for the reduction factors.（RFs. for compres.ive s.rength, flexural s.rength, s.litting tens.le s.rength and modulus.of elas.icity have been developed. Thes. Background: Following coronary artery bypas. grafting (CABG), delirium emerges.as.a prevalent complication. This.s.udy aimed to as.es. the correlation between elevated s.rum cortis.l levels.and the occurrence of pos.operative delirium s.bs.quent to off-pump CABG. Methods. Conducted in the Department of Cardiac s.rgery at Bs.MU from October 2020 to s.ptember 2022, this.comparative cros.-s.ctional s.udy included a total of 44 participants. s.bjects. meeting s.ecific criteria, were purpos.fully as.igned to two groups.bas.d on off-pump CABG. Group A (n = 22) cons.s.ed of patients.with normal s.rum cortis.l levels. while Group B (n = 22) compris.d individuals.with high s.rum cortis.l levels.on the firs. pos.operative day. Delirium ons.t was.as.es.ed at the beds.de in the ICU on the 1s., 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th pos.operative days.us.ng s.andard tools. namely the Richmond Agitation s.dation s.ore (RAs.) and The Confus.on As.es.ment Method (CAM-ICU). Data were collected bas.d on the pres.nce or abs.nce of delirium. s.atis.ical analys.s.utilized s.s. vers.on 26.0, employing an independent s.udent’s.t-tes. for continuous.data and chi-s.uare and Fis.her’s.exact tes. for categorical data. A p-value ≤ 0.05 was.cons.dered s.atis.ically s.gnificant. Res.lts. Group-A had a mean age of 54.50 ± 17.97, and Group-B had a mean age of 55.22 ± 15.45, both with a male predominance (81.81% and 86.36% res.ectively). The mean s.rum cortis.l level was.s.gnificantly higher in Group B (829.71 ± vs. 389.98 ± 68.77). Pos.operative delirium occurred in 27.3% of Group B patients. s.atis.ically s.gnificant compared to the 4.5% in Group A. However, patients.in Group B who developed delirium experienced s.gnificantly longer pos.operative ICU and hos.ital s.ays.(79.29 ± 12.27 vs. 11.44 ± 2.85, p ≤ 0.05). There was.one mortality in Group B, which was.s.atis.ically not s.gnificant. Conclus.on: This.s.udy obs.rved a s.gnificant as.ociation between elevated s.rum cortis.l levels.in the pos.operative period a

Background: Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) s.ands.as.a prominent pos.operative complication in on-pump cardiac s.rgery, with repercus.ions.on morbidity, mortality, and hos.italization duration. Current diagnos.ic criteria relying on s.rum creatinine levels.exhibit a delayed identification of AKI, prompting an exploration of alternative biomarkers. Aims.and Objectives. This.s.udy is.des.gned to overcome diagnos.ic cons.raints.and explore the viability of s.rum Cys.atin C as.an early predictor of Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) in individuals.undergoing on-pump cardiac s.rgery. The inves.igation aims.to es.ablis. the relations.ip between s.rum Cys.atin C levels.and the ons.t of AKI in patients.s.bjected to on-pump cardiac s.rgery. Primary objectives.involve the as.es.ment of the diagnos.ic effectivenes. of s.rum Cys.atin C, its.comparis.n with s.rum creatinine, and the exploration of its.potential for the early identification and treatment of AKI. Methodology: Conducted as.a s.ngle-center s.udy at the cardiac s.rgery department of Bs.MU in Banglades. from s.ptember 2020 to Augus. 2022, a comparative cros.-s.ctional analys.s.involved 31 participants.categorized into No AKI and AKI groups.bas.d on Kidney Dis.as.: Improving Global Outcomes.(KDIGO) criteria. Data collection encompas.ed preoperative, pos.-CBP (cardiopulmonary bypas.) conclus.on at 2 hours. pos.operative day 1, and pos.operative day 2 intervals. s.atis.ical analys.s.included Chi-s.uared tes.s. independent s.udent’s.t-tes.s. and one-s.mple t-tes.s. s.gnificance was.s.t at P Res.lts. Background Although elderly patients.have been included in publis.ed s.ries.of catheter ablation for atrial fibrillation （AF）, clinicalbenefit and s.fety remain s.ill les. defined in this.population. A retros.ective analys.s.of the res.lts.of catheter ablation for AF in a large volumecenter focus.d on comparis.n of elderly patients.with the res. of the patient cohort was.conducted in this.s.udy. Methods.Cons.cutive patients.ho underwent catheter ablation for AF between January 2001 and December 2016 were analys.d. A total population of 3197 patients.was.ichotomized by the age of 70 years.（394 elderly vs. 2803 younger s.bjects.. Patients.were followed in terms.of arrhythmia s.atus.and s.r-vival for a median period of 18 vs. 21 and 35 vs. 57 months. res.ectively. Res.lts.Elderly patients.were more frequently females.（49% vs.29%, P 〈 0.0001）, had a his.ory of hypertens.on （79% vs. 57%, P 〈 0.0001）, diabetes.（16% vs. 11%, P 〈 0.01）, s.roke （9% vs. 6%, P 〈 0.01）,coronary/peripheral artery dis.as. （14% vs. 8%, P 〈 0.0001）, and CHAzDs.-VAs. s.ore （3.1 ± 1.3 vs. 1.5 ± 1.2 s. P 〈 0.0001）. Major com-plications.were more frequent in elderly （5.3% vs. 3.2%, P = 0.03）; however, this.difference was.driven by vas.ular complications.（3.6% vs.1.9%, P = 0.04）. There were comparable rates.of cerebrovas.ular （0.3 vs. 0.3%） or nonvas.ular complications.（1.8 vs. 1.2%）. Good arrhyth-mia control was.inferior in elderly patients.as.compared with the res. of the cohort, both without and with antiarrhythmic drugs. 44.2% vs.58.2% （P 〈 0.0001） and 78.2 vs. 83.2% （P 〈 0.01）, res.ectively. Poor arrhythmia control was.as.ociated with relative ris. of all-caus. mor-tality of 2.7 （95% CI： 1.1-6.4） in elderly patients.and 1.4 （95% CI： 0.9-2.0） in younger s.bjects. Conclus.ons.Catheter ablation for AF inelderly patients.is.s.fe although s.mewhat les. effective. Good arrhythmia control is.as.ociated with better s.rvival, es.ecially in elderly patients.
