Differences in geochemistry and hydrocarbon generation of sourcerock samples dominated by telalginite and lamalginite: A case study on the Permian saline lacustrine source rocks in the Jimusaer Sag, NW China

The Middle Permian Lucaogou Formation in Northwestern China mainly contains typical saline lacustrine oil shale.To study the differences in geochemistry and hydrocarbon generation of source-rock samples in Lucaogou Formation in Jimusaer Sag,57 core samples from two boreholes were analyzed herein by performing total organic carbon(TOC)analysis,RockeEval pyrolysis,and gas chromatographicemass spectrometry experiments on saturated hydrocarbons.The kinetics of oil generation were studied using two samples comprising typical maceral components.The results showed that the hydrocarbons produced by telalginite are relatively rich in pristane(Pr),phytane(Ph),b-carotane,high-carbon normal alkanes,and C29 regular steranes.Hydrocarbons produced by lamalginite contain a significantly higher content of C20 tricyclic terpanes(TT),C21TT,C24 tetracyclic terpanes(TeT),C29 norhopane,and C28 regular sterane.Based on the pyrolysis and biomarker compound parameters,telalginite has a higher conversion rate for hydrocarbons than lamalginite in the low-mature to mature stage,which is consistent with their kinetic analysis.Lamalginite source rock displays a much narrower distribution of activation energies than telalginite source rocks.Such narrower activation energy distribution effectively narrows the main stage of hydrocarbon generation.In addition,the activation energy distribution of lamalginite concentrated in the high-value interval,indicating the characteristics of the relatively lagging hydrocarbon generation of lamalginite.

Effect of endostar combined with cisplatin on expression of VEGF and Sema3A of Lewis lung cancer rats

Objective:To evaluate the therapeutic effect of endostar(ED) combined with cisplatin(DDP) on model of C57BL/6 rats,and to further investigate the inhibiting mechanism of endostar from tumor angiogenesis.Methods:Lewis lung cancer cells were inoculated in C57BL/6 mouse,then the mouse were randomized into control group(group A),ED(group B),DDP(group C) and ED/DDP (group D).They were treated according to the plan.And the expressions of VEGF and Sema3A were evaluated by immunhistochemisty.Results:The weight of tumor increased in group A and B.It was decreased in group C and D.The tumor volume was increased in all the 4 groups. The VEGF expression of group D was obviously lower than the other group 3,but the Sema3A expressed of group D was significantly strengthener than the other group 3.The VEGF expression of group B and group D were obviously low especially in the 4th-8th days.Pearson correlated analysis showed that the expression VEGF and Sema3A were negatively correlated(r=-0.72, Plization.It is easy for DDP perfusion,and to kill tumor cells.

d-Orbital steered FeN_(4)moiety through N,S dual-site adjustation for zinc-air flow battery

The implementation of pristine covalent organic polymer(CO_(2)P)with well-defined structure as air electrode may spark fresh vitality to rechargeable zinc-air flow batteries(ZAFBs),but it still remains challenges in synergistically regulating their electronic states and structural porosity for the great device performance.Here,we conquer these issues by exploiting N and S co-doped graphene with COP rich in metal-ligand nitrogen to synergistically construct an effective catalyst for oxygen reduction reaction(ORR).Among them,the N and S co-doped sites with high electronegativity properties alter the number of electron occupations in the d orbital of the iron centre and form electron-transfer bridges,thereby boosting the selectivity of the ORR-catalysed four-electron pathway.Meanwhile,the introduction of COP materials aids the formation of pore interstices in the graphene lamellae,which both adequately expose the active sites and facilitate the transport of reactive substances.Benefiting from the synergistic effect,as-prepared catalyst exhibits excellent half-wave potentials(E_(1/2)=912 mV)and stability(merely 8.8%drop after a long-term durability test of 50000 s).Further,ZAFBs assembled with the N/SG@CO_(2)P catalyst demonstrate exceptional power density(163.8 mW cm^(-2))and continuous charge and discharge for approximately 140 h at 10 mA cm^(-2),outperforming the noble-metal benchmarks.

Isorhamnetin Downregulates MMP2 and MMP9 to Inhibit Development of Rheumatoid Arthritis through SRC/ERK/CREB Pathway

Objective To investigate the effect of isorhamnetin on the pathology of rheumatoid arthritis(RA).Methods Tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-α-induced fibroblast-like synoviocytes(FLS)was exposed to additional isorhamnetin(10,20 and 40µmol/L).Overexpression vectors for matrix metalloproteinase-2(MMP2)or MMP9 or SRC were transfected to explore their roles in isorhamnetin-mediated RA-FLS function.RA-FLS viability,migration,and invasion were evaluated.Moreover,a collagen-induced arthritis(CIA)rat model was established.Rats were randomly divided to sham,CIA,low-,medium-,and high-dosage groups using a random number table(n=5 in each group)and administed with normal saline or additional isorhamnetin[2,10,and 20 mg/(kg·day)]for 4 weeks,respectively.Arthritis index was calculated and synovial tissue inflammation was determined in CIA rats.The levels of MMP2,MMP9,TNF-α,interleukin-6(IL-6),and IL-1β,as well as the phosphorylation levels of SRC,extracellular regulated kinase(ERK),and cyclic adenosine monophosphate response element-binding(CREB),were detected in RA-FLS and synovial tissue.Molecular docking was also used to analyze the binding of isorhamnetin to SRC.Results In in vitro studies,isorhamnetin inhibited RA-FLS viability,migration and invasion(Plity,migration and invasion,as well as the negative regulation of MMP2 and MMP9(P<0.05).In in vivo studies,isorhamnetin decreased arthritis index scores(P<0.05)and alleviated synovial inflammation.Isorhamnetin reduced the levels of MMP2,MMP9,TNF-α,IL-6,and IL-1β,as well as the phosphorylation of SRC,ERK,and CREB in synovial tissue(P<0.05).Notably,the inhibit

Unconventional Fluorescent and Multi-responsive Polysiloxane:Synthesis,Characterization and Biological Applications

Owing to their high significance in fundamental study and diverse applications,stimuli-responsive and fluorescent polymers,particularly those with cluster-triggered emission(CTE)featured by non-conjugated chromophores,have drawn tremendous attention in recent years.In this work,fluorescent and multi-responsive polysiloxane(FRPS)was synthesized by hydrolytic condensation polymerization of 3-aminopropyl methyl diethoxysilane(APMS)with 3-(N-isopropyl propionamide)iminopropyl methyl diethoxysilane(APMS-NIP),which was formed in situ through aza-Michael addition between APMS and N-isopropyl acrylamide.FRPS was not only highly sensitive to temperature,pH and CO_(2) in water,but also showed an enhanced and stimuli-adjustable fluorescence emission.The effects of monomer feeding,pH and CO_(2) on its lower critical solution temperature and fluorescent property were investigated.FRPS fluorescence emission was ascribed to CTE mechanism.In addition,FRPS was shown to be highly potential as physiological indicator for cell imaging,and for controlled release and trace detection of doxorubicin.This study provides therefore a type of stimuli-responsive and fluorescent material for potential applications in biomedical fields,and it is also of great significance for understanding of the fluorescence mechanism of polysiloxane-based stimuli-responsive polymers.

Sensitivity impacts owing to the variations in the type of zero-range pairing forces on the fission properties using the density functional theory

Using the Skyrme density functional theory,potential energy surfaces of^(240)Pu with constraints on the axial quadrupole and octupole deformations(q_(20)and q_(30))were calculated.The volume-like and surface-like pairing forces,as well as a combination of these two forces,were used for the Hartree–Fock–Bogoliubov approximation.Variations in the least-energy fission path,fission barrier,pairing energy,total kinetic energy,scission line,and mass distribution of the fission fragments based on the different forms of the pairing forces were analyzed and discussed.The fission dynamics were studied based on the timedependent generator coordinate method plus the Gaussian overlap approximation.The results demonstrated a sensitivity of the mass and charge distributions of the fission fragments on the form of the pairing force.Based on the investigation of the neutron-induced fission of^(239)Pu,among the volume,mixed,and surface pairing forces,the mixed pairing force presented a good reproduction of the experimental data.

Non-aromatic fluorescent and multi-responsive materials,exhibiting inherent fluorescence emission and controlled phase change,have garnered significant attention in recent years.However,the underlying interaction between their fluorescent properties and phase transition remains unclear.In this study,we synthesized a series of catalyst-free aza-Michael addition-based polyethyleneimine(RFPEI)materials by reacting polyethyleneimine(PEI)with N-isopropyl acrylamide(NIPAM).The resulting RFPEI was comprehensively characterized,and demonstrated dual-phase transition behavior(LCST and UCST)in water,which could be finely tuned by adjusting its composition or external factors such as pH.Notably,upon UV irradiation(365 nm),RFPEI exhibited strong fluorescence emission.We further investigated the effects of NIPAM grafting percentage to PEI,polymer concentration,and pH on the LCST/UCST and fluorescent properties of RFPEI aqueous solutions.Moreover,we showcased the great potential of RFPEI as a versatile tool for physiological cell imaging,trace detection,and controlled release of doxorubicin.Our study presents a novel class of stimuli-responsive fluorescent materials with promising applications in the field of biomedicine.

Electron beam (EB) curing of composites has many advantages. Heat-resistant EB-curing composites could substitute polyimide composites used in aeronautical engines. In this paper, the effects of catalyst and dose on the cured resin were investigated. The heat-resistance of the resin cured by EB was evaluated by dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA). The experimental results show that the mechanical properties of the composites cured by EB could meet the specifications of aeronautical engines at 250 degreesC.

Effect of short neuropeptide F signaling on larval feeding in Mythimna separata

Mythimna separata is a notorious phytophagous pest which poses serious threats to cereal crops owing to the gluttony of the larvae.Because short neuropeptide F(sNPF)and its receptor sNPFR are involved in a diversity of physiological functions,especially in functions related to feeding in insects,it is a molecular target for pest control.Herein,an sNPF and 2 sNPFRs were identified and cloned from M.separata.Bioinformatics analysis revealed that the sNPF and its receptors had a highly conserved RLRFamide C-terminus and 7 transmembrane domains,respectively.The sNPF and its receptor genes were distributed across larval periods and tissues,but 2 receptors had distinct expression patterns.The starvation-induced assay elucidated that sNPF and sNPFR expression levels were downregulated under food deprivation and recovered with subsequent re-feeding.RNA interference knockdown of sNPF,sNPFR1,and sNPFR2 by injection of double-stranded RNA into larvae not only suppressed food consumption and increased body size and weight,but also led to decrease of glycogen and total lipid contents,and increase of trehalose compared with double-stranded green fluorescent protein injection.Furthermore,molecular docking was performed on the interaction mode between sNPFR protein and its ligand sNPF based on the 3-dimensional models constructed by AlphaFold;the results indicated that both receptors were presumably activated by the mature peptide sNPF-2.These results revealed that sNPF signaling played a considerably vital role in the feeding regulation of M.separata and represents a potential control target for this pest.

Removal of Cr(Ⅵ)by glutaraldehyde-crosslinked chitosan encapsulating microscale zero-valent iron:Synthesis,mechanism,and longevity

Microscale zero-valent iron(mZVI)has shown great potential for groundwater Cr(Ⅵ)remediation.However,low Cr(Ⅵ)removal capacity caused by passivation restricted the wide use of mZVI.We prepared mZVI/GCS by encapsulating mZVI in a porous glutaraldehydecrosslinked chitosan matrix,and the formation of the passivation layer was alleviated by reducing the contact between zero-valent iron particles.The average pore diameter of mZVI/GCS was 8.775 nm,which confirmed the mesoporous characteristic of this material.Results of batch experiments demonstrated that mZVI/GCS exhibited high Cr(Ⅵ)removal efficiency in a wide range of pH(2-10)and temperature(5-35℃).Common groundwater coexisting ions slightly affected m ZVI/GCS.The material showed great reusability,and the average Cr(Ⅵ)removal efficiency was 90.41%during eight cycles.In this study,we also conducted kinetics and isotherms analysis.Pseudo-second-order model was the most matched kinetics model.The Cr(Ⅵ)adsorption process was fitted by both Langmuir and Freundlich isotherms models,and the maximum Langmuir adsorption capacity of m ZVI/GCS reached243.63 mg/g,which is higher than the adsorption capacities of materials reported in most of the previous studies.Notably,the column capacity for Cr(Ⅵ)removal of a mZVI/GCS-packed column was 6.4 times higher than that of a mZVI-packed column in a 50-day experiment.Therefore,mZVI/GCS with a porous structure effectively relieved passivation problems of mZVI and showed practical application prospects as groundwater Cr(Ⅵ)remediation material with practical application prospects.
