Objective: To investigate the expression of myocardium connexin 43(Cx43) in late exercise preconditioning(LEP) cardioprotection. Methods: Eight-week-old adult male Sprague Dawley rats were randomly assigned into four groups(n=8). Myocardial injury was judged in accordance with serum levels of c Tn and NT-pro BNP as well as hematoxylin basicfuchsin picric acid staining of myocardium. Cx43 m RNA was detected by in situ hybridization and qualified by real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR. Cx43 protein was localized by immunohistochemistry and its expression level was determined by western blotting. Results: The LEP obviously attenuated the myocardial ischemia/hypoxia injury caused by exhaustive exercise. There was no significant difference of Cx43 m RNA level between the four groups. Cx43 protein level was decreased significantly in group EE(P<0.05). However, LEP produced a significant increase in Cx43 protein level(P<0.05), and the decreased Cx43 protein level in exhaustive exercise was significantly up-regulated by LEP(P<0.05). Conclusions: LEP protects rat heart against exhaustive exercise-induced myocardial injury by up-regulating the expression of myocardial Cx43.

Research on the quasi-isentropic driving model of aluminized explosives in the detonation wave propagation direction

Taking CL-20(Hexanitrohexaazaisowurtzitane)-based aluminized explosives with high gurney energy as the research object, this research experimentally investigates the work capability of different aluminized explosive formulations when driving metal flyer plates in the denotation wave propagation direction.The research results showed that the formulations with 43 μm aluminum(Al) powder particles(The particle sizes of Al powder were in the range of 2~43 μm) exhibited the optimal performance in driving flyer plates along the denotation wave propagation direction. Compared to the formulations with Al powder 13 μm, the formulations with Al powder 2 μm delivered better performance in accelerating metal flyer plates in the early stage, which, however, turned to be poor in the later stage. The CL-20-based explosives containing 25% Al far under-performed those containing 15% Al. Based on the proposed quasi-isentropic hypothesis, relevant isentropy theories, and the functional relationship between detonation parameters and entropy as well as Al reaction degree, the characteristic lines of aluminized explosives in accelerating flyer plates were theoretically studied, a quasi-isentropic theoretical model for the aluminized explosive driving the flyer plate was built and the calculation methods for the variations of flyer plate velocity, Al reaction degree, and detonation product parameters with time and axial positions were developed. The theoretical model built is verified by the experimental results of the CL-20-based aluminized explosive driving flyer plate. It was found that the model built could accurately calculate the variations of flyer plate velocity and Al reaction degree over time. In addition, how physical parameters including detonation product pressure and temperature varied with time and axial positions was identified. The action time of the positive pressure after the detonation of aluminized explosives was found prolonged and the downtrend of the temperature was slowed down and even reversed to a slight rise

As an intrinsic magnetic topological insulator with magnetic order and non-trivial topological structure,MnBi_(2)Te_(4)is an ideal material for studying exotic topological states such as quantum anomalous Hall effect and topological axion insulating states.Here,we carry out magnetic and electrical transport measurements on(Mn1–xGex)Bi_(2)Te_(4)(x=0,0.15,0.30,0.45,0.60,and 0.75)single crystals.It is found that with increasing x,the dilution of magnetic moments gradually weakens the antiferromagnetic exchange interaction.Moreover,Ge doping reduces the critical field of ferromagnetic ordering,which may provide a possible way to implement the quantum anomalous Hall effect at lower magnetic field.Electrical transport measurements suggest that electrons are the dominant charge carriers,and the carrier density increases with the Ge doping ratio.Additionally,the Kondo effect is observed in the samples with x=0.45,0.60,and 0.75.Our results suggest that doping germanium is a viable way to tune the magnetic and electrical transport properties of MnBi_(2)Te_(4),opening up the possibility of future applications in magnetic topological insulators.

Robots with transformable tracked mechanisms are widely used in complex terrains because of their high adaptability,and many studies on novel locomotion mechanisms have been conducted to make them able to climb higher obstacles.Developing underactuated transformable mechanisms for tracked robots could decrease the number of actuators used while maintaining the flexibility and obstacle-crossing capability of these robots,and increasing their cost performance.Therefore,the underactuated tracked robots have appreciable research potential.In this paper,a novel tracked robot with a newly proposed underactuated revolute‒revolute‒prismatic(RRP)transformable mechanism,which is inspired by the sit-up actions of humans,was developed.The newly proposed tracked robot has only two actuators installed on the track pulleys for moving and does not need extra actuators for transformations.Instead,it could concentrate the track belt’s tension toward one side,and the unbalanced tension would drive the linkage mechanisms to change its configuration.Through this method,the proposed underactuated design could change its external shape to create support points with the terrain and move its center of mass actively at the same time while climbing obstacles or crossing other kinds of terrains,thus greatly improving the climbing capability of the robot.The geometry and kinematic relationships of the robot and the crossing strategies for three kinds of typical obstacles are discussed.On the basis of such crossing motions,the parameters of links in the robot are designed to make sure the robot has sufficient stability while climbing obstacles.Terrain-crossing dynamic simulations were run and analyzed to prove the feasibility of the robot.A prototype was built and tested.Experiments show that the proposed robot could climb platforms with heights up to 33.3%of the robot’s length or cross gaps with widths up to 43.5%of the robot’s length.

Fluidized-bed reactors are widely employed in various high-temperature industrial processes.Thus,it is crucial to understand the temperature effect on various fluidization phenomena,specifically the minimum fluidization velocity(U mf)that governs various aspects of fluidized bed behavior.In this study,we comprehensively analyze U mf data from the literature to unravel the complexity and underlying mechanisms of temperature influence on this critical velocity.The research examines experimental data encompassing a wide range of temperatures,pressures,and solid particles.The analysis reveals that the influence of temperature on U mf is fundamentally determined by the relative importance of hydrodynamic forces and interparticle forces within fluidized beds and is realized by three distinctive temperature-induced changes:gas properties,bed voidage,and physiochemical characteristics of particles.On this basis,an equation is derived to enable predictions of temperature influences on the minimum fluidization velocity under broad temperature conditions.

Efficient synthesis of forsterite via high-temperature thermochemical reactions from boron mud waste without briquetting

Forsterite is a highly demanded material in high-temperature industries due to its superior performance in elevated temperatures.This study proposes synthesizing high-quality forsterite via high-temperature thermochemical reactions using abundant boron mud waste.The new synthesis method capitalizes on the high reactivity of fine raw powder materials,enabling the reaction to reach completion at low temperatures rapidly.The chemical characteristics,microscopic morphology,and structure of synthe-sized samples are systematically studied using XRD and SEM.The results confirm that boron mud can be efficiently transformed into forsterite after 10 min of reactions at 1500℃.The synthesized products attain over 98.7%densification and contain more than 85.0%forsterite with well-developed grains.The activation energy of forsterite grain growth in the 1100-1500℃temperature range is 165.5 kJ/mol.This study provides a low-cost method for producing forsterite and an efficient and environmentally friendly solution for treating solid waste.

Nonreciprocity of thermal metamaterials has significant application prospects in isolation protection,unidirectional transmission,and energy harvesting.However,due to the inherent isotropic diffusion law of heat flow,it is extremely difficult to achieve nonreciprocity of heat transfer.This review presents the recent developments in thermal nonreciprocity and explores the fundamental theories,which underpin the design of nonreciprocal thermal metamaterials,i.e.,the Onsager reciprocity theorem.Next,three methods for achieving nonreciprocal metamaterials in the thermal field are elucidated,namely,nonlinearity,spatiotemporal modulation,and angular momentum bias,and the applications of nonreciprocal thermal metamaterials are outlined.We also discuss nonreciprocal thermal radiation.Moreover,the potential applications of nonreciprocity to other Laplacian physical fields are discussed.Finally,the prospects for advancing nonreciprocal thermal metamaterials are highlighted,including developments in device design and manufacturing techniques and machine learning-assisted material design.

Image Recognition Model of Fraudulent Websites Based on Image Leader Decision and Inception-V3 Transfer Learning

The fraudulent website image is a vital information carrier for telecom fraud.The efficient and precise recognition of fraudulent website images is critical to combating and dealing with fraudulent websites.Current research on image recognition of fraudulent websites is mainly carried out at the level of image feature extraction and similarity study,which have such disadvantages as difficulty in obtaining image data,insufficient image analysis,and single identification types.This study develops a model based on the entropy method for image leader decision and Inception-v3 transfer learning to address these disadvantages.The data processing part of the model uses a breadth search crawler to capture the image data.Then,the information in the images is evaluated with the entropy method,image weights are assigned,and the image leader is selected.In model training and prediction,the transfer learning of the Inception-v3 model is introduced into image recognition of fraudulent websites.Using selected image leaders to train the model,multiple types of fraudulent websites are identified with high accuracy.The experiment proves that this model has a superior accuracy in recognizing images on fraudulent websites compared to other current models.

With regard to green chemistry and sustainable development,the fixation of CO_(2)into epoxides to form cyclic carbonates is an attractive and promising pathway for CO_(2)utilization.Metal oxides,renowned as promising eco-friendly catalysts for industrial production,are often undervalued in terms of their impact on the CO_(2)addition reaction.In this work,we successfully developed ZnO nanoplates with(002)surfaces and ZnO nanorods with(100)surfaces via morphology-oriented regulation to explore the effect of crystal faces on CO_(2)cycloaddition.The quantitative data obtained from electron paramagnetic resonance spectroscopy indicated that the concentration of oxygen vacancies on the ZnO nanoplate surfaces was more than twice that on the ZnO nanorod surfaces.Density functional theory calculations suggested that the(002)surfaces have lower adsorption energies for CO_(2)and epichlorohydrin than the(100)surfaces.As a result,the yield of cyclochloropropene carbonate on the ZnO nanoplates(64.7%)was much greater than that on the ZnO nanorods(42.3%).Further evaluation of the reused catalysts revealed that the decrease in the oxygen vacancy concentration was the primary factor contributing to the decrease in catalytic performance.Based on these findings,a possible catalytic mechanism for CO_(2)cycloaddition with epichlorohydrin was proposed.This work provides a new idea for the controllable preparation of high-performance ZnO catalysts for the synthesis of cyclic carbonates from CO_(2)and epoxides.

Suzhou City,located in the Yangtze River Delta in China,is prone to flooding due to a complex combination of natural factors,including its monsoon climate,low elevation,and tidally influenced position,as well as intensive human activities.The Large Encirclement Flood Control Project(LEFCP)was launched to cope with serious floods in the urban area.This project changed the spatiotemporal pattern of flood processes and caused spatial diversion of floods from the urban area to the outskirts of the city.Therefore,this study developed a distributed flood simulation model in order to understand this transition of flood processes.The results revealed that the LEFCP effectively protected the urban areas from floods,but the present scheduling schemes resulted in the spatial diversion of floods to the outskirts of the city.With rainstorm frequencies of 10.0%to 0.5%,the water level differences between two representative water level stations(Miduqiao(MDQ)and Fengqiao(FQ))located inside and outside the LEFCP area,ranged from 0.75 m to 0.24 m and from 1.80 m to 1.58 m,respectively.In addition,the flood safety margin at MDQ and the duration with the water level exceeding the warning water level at FQ ranged from 0.95 m to 0.43 m and from 4 h to 22 h,respectively.Rational scheduling schemes for the hydraulic facilities of the LEFCP in extreme precipitation cases were developed ac-cording to food simulations under seven scheduling scenarios.This helps to regulate the spatial flood diversion caused by the LEFCP during extreme precipitation.
